In the early 90's if you went to Fairfield CA to the Elk's Club near Travis AFB, the ladies would do this same step to Chaka Khan's - I Want. amazing how line dances reincarnate.

There is the song called the Homie Twist that this goes to. Don't know what state that song is from tho. You can do it to almost any song, ppl in Tallahasse FL do it to Earthquake by lil wayne, but we call it the Twist

Ha! So, no one's been able to tell me--did the Whiskey Shuffle originate in Ohio, then?? We do it here in Dayton, but people in other places don't always know it.

All I know is a couple of years ago, some of us Line Dancers were at the 2nd Wind in Columbus and started doing this dance to "Got My Whiskey".
