  • hes going to 90 degrees its considered a push up it will mostly target his triceps but its still considered a pushup

  • @RwR28NJ Some of us can, and the fact that he doesn't hit a full ROM makes this video pointless. Some guys that are average hitting 26 are at least hitting a full ROM. I mean, props for him going at a steady pace for 100 half push ups, that'd still kill your muscles. But instead of saying he isn't performing full Push-Ups he's claiming he is and promoting his website. This video is a false statement.

  • My gosh he can do "proper" push ups. Do you realize he was trying to do 100 in under a minuet? Why don't you try 100 in a minuet? Not very freaking easy you gotta average 2 push ups a second. So gosh give him a break it's honestly very hard to push that fast.

  • @victorhub It's a race against time. No one can do 100 pushups in a minute with perfect form and he was going 90 degrees down which is far enough. Jeff is also one of the nations top trainers according to mens health magazine and he's also an accomplished physical therapist. Everyone's a critic...

  • the only real problem with his form is his feet are a little wide but having your feet wider doesnt make it that much easier and from what i saw he went down to a 90 degrees each time and that is far enough. But a lot of you guys are right barely touching your chest to the ground is better

  • @VictorHub His arms are at a perfect 90 degree angle. He's not hurting anything by doing these. If anything this push-up is better than the "original" push-up where people go all the way to the ground. When you do that you're causing tension on not just your elbows, but your wrists as well. And his feet are shoulder width apart? You don't have a clue what you're talking about. Hit 100 of these push-ups in comparison to 100 of the "original" pushups and i bet you'll be able to tell the difference

    he's still doing a press up! pulses give you a better workout due to the muscles being contracted the whole time, it may seem easier and you will be able to do more reps but you get one awesome burn!!

  • in my eyes he did them right, his elbows were bent and aligned with his chest on the way down and his back and legs was straight and parallel the whole time. it don't matter if its halfway down or all the way down he did them right a pushup is a pushup. geez their plenty of vids on here where the person neck, back and ass is out of place when attempting pushups. if i ever get to that level of a 100 pushups im not posting my hardwork on youtube, to many critics

  • Your not doing press ups properly, do them like the marines, tuck your arms in nice and tight, keep your feet and knees together and go, guarantee you cant do 60. and yes 60 is minimum to join the marines :)

And doing this helps alot for regualar pushups because if you try to do 100 pushups like this eventually it will become easier and you will be able to start doing them perfect and quick!

  • This guy is obviously ripped, but if you arent doing complete push-ups with good form, than you aren't doing ANY push-ups (no matter how many almost push-ups you can do). In the Army I would do let's say 65 push-ups by my count, but then the Drill Sgt'd tell me I only did 52 by their count. Meaning only 52 were proper push-ups, and the other 13 were a waste of time and energy, and not even counted. Unless you can do 100 COMPLETE push-ups, you shouldn't advertise. It's a harder challenge.

  • When I was taking a test for Police Officer If i did Push ups like he did they would never count that, Chest need to be 2 to 3 inches off the ground and expend all the way UP. I did 50 and that was a lot... I think anyone can do a lot off pushups but are they really corect?

  • I was in the Army, and none of those push-ups would have counted on a PT test. Not that he was trying to do Army standard or anything, but your chest should come to about 3 inches off the ground before going going back up.
