I called the DNC myself this morning and asked for Howard Dean. I got his assistant and asked where the hell Obama's birth certificate was. She said "the judge is ruling on this now." I said I didn't want to HEAR about a judge ruling on whether he has to show it. I want to SEE IT. I said "why doesn't he just hand it over to the judge?" Obama and the DNC are absolutely correct in waiting for the Court to rule on the standing and claim issue. IF -big if there-the Court doesn't trow the whole case out there is plenty of time for presenting the documents. Since a BC is already available and has been scrutinized there is no chance AT ALL that the Court will decide in Berg's favor on the core issue of eligibility. US born.

What that means is McCain is not a natural born citizen, but rather was given citizenship through legislation as permitted by the US Constitution which states "To establish an uniform Rule of Naturalization" under Article I, Section 8 (Powers of Congress).
Without that law in place, McCain would not even be a citizen. This is called naturalization, not natural born. Thus McCain is not eligible to be President either.
Also, despite popular belief, the Canal Zone was not a territory of the US

The Canal Zone was not owned either so there really nothing to give up.
It was leased from the government of Panama. Anyone can go look this stuff up. It was a treaty with Panama.
Additionally, it is beyond the powers of Congress do define what the meaning of the Constitution is through legislation. That is knowledge from a basic political science class. See Marbury v. Madison
If you look at the law that made McCain a citizen, you will not find the words "natural born" anywhere.

Both of John's parents born Americans.
McCains father serving his country while John was born. Means that John McCains mom was w/him while she was pregnant. Now because both are Americans, John McCain is automatically American even though he wasn't born in America!
For example.

even if he were born in honolulu (which i doubt), when he was adopted by Lolo Soetoro he became an indonesian citizen. the proof? In order for him to have attneded public schools at that time, the country only permitted citizens to attend public schools. The famous AP photograph of his school records with the name Barry soetoro. Also he travelled to Pakistan which was a "no-travel" country for the US. So what passport did he use? Indonesian.
