this is serious shit before Plan B became a sell out........still like is soul singing but he needs to get back to his roots and start spitting bars again
Songs like this are the reason why I would never call Plan B a sellout. He earned his stripes doing this. I don't give a fuck if his next album is a country/death metal/techno fucked up mash up. I probably wouldn't like it, much like defamation but who cares. He doesn't have to prove nothing to me!
I hope he does go back to his old ways his new stuff is shit most artist these days chat shit and talk about the usual Wich I why I listen to old school music it's real music with lyrics that are meant and have stories to be told, this is a great tune! Hope plan b realises that his older music is much better than his new crap
@4evrFazed It's about a friend of Plan B's called "Tony" a.k.a "T". The story is, they are good friends, yet they argue alot over stupid stuff. Plan B wants Tony to stop fucking around and stop trying to be a thug. One day Tony get's into a argument with someone, who ends up killing him, using the help of Tony's girlfriend. Then when Plan B finds out about it, he regrets arguing about all the stupid shit, and says no matter what he always loved him and will miss him. Get it?
For ANYONE complaining about Plan B switchin style, look up on this "Plan B: 'America is ready for Strickland Banks'" It will put a fucking smile on your face. Realist interview ever.

They're selling this album for £13 in HMV, I'm definitely buying it. It had a paper casing around it with the CD inside, it might be a limited edition.
@tomayta13 yeah, lol fucking rip off, but it's worth it. They actually try to sell Liquid Swords by GZA for £10, and that album was originally released in 1995, should be £5 instead because it's old, classic shit but too old.

My favourite plan b song dont know why just the beat in the background and the raw words my kids are fed up of listining to it.I checked my youngest sons youtube account and he favourited Who needs actions when you got words im finally making them realise there are other rappers as good as Eminem.
Let's face it, Plan B is the only talented mainstream artist now. It doesn't matter if anyone goes mainstream as long as they aren't churning out garbage. Honestly can't think of another decent British rap act that's been in the charts in the past 3 or 4 years. If he's in the charts he's mainstream, it's as simple as that. But that doesn't mean he sold out or that he's dog shit now. You're just splitting hairs if you think otherwise.
@punkyhiphopdood thats how i try to explain plan b to my mates but they dont understand me. to be fair i thinks its cos the all know i hate mainstream music.
@RollAnotherJ I've got no problem with mainstream music just so long as it isn't absolute dog shit. Which 99.9% of it is. Gimme the underground anytime.
Plan B isnt mainstream, but believe that he is mainstream is in its self mainstream. He has gone from rap to soulful, that is exploring ones musical ability.
He goin back to hip hop though. It's good that he has proven his variation in musical ability!
@Gezim911 tinie tempah isnt grime, thats definitly hip-hop, but yh your right they are different this is from wikipedia: British hip hop (usually UK Hip Hop,) is a genre of music, and a culture that covers a variety of styles of hip hop music made in the United Kingdom. It is generally classified as one of a number of styles of urban music.British hip hop was originally influenced by the New York hip hop scene. UK hip hop has been widely replaced with grime.
@2010blackhawkdown I didn't say Tinie Tempah is grime, I said Tempa T is grime, Tempa T and Tinie Tempah are two separate artists. And yes, UK hip-hop has mostly been replaced with grime but there are still some UK hip-hop artists left like Jehst and Rhyme Asylum.
I'd consider Tinie Tempah as a pop artist though he did have some grime tunes back in the day like Wifey.
@2010blackhawkdown No there not you dickhead, UK hip hop is just hip hop from the UK. Thats like saying spanish hip hop is the same as grime. There two totally different genres. Different subject matter usually, different flows, bpm's and musical influence. If you look at Wiley's new album 100% publishing and then listen to Lowkey's dear listener you try telling me that UK hip hop and grime are the same. Thats like saying Rodney P is in the same genre as Dot Rotten.
@batche39 look, uk hip hop isnt just hip hop from the uk, its a different genre to hip hop, and its simmilar to grime this from another comment from different person on this video "Grime and UK hip-hop are very similar anyway." ive got something to back me up, wheres yours?
@2010blackhawkdown Lol well if you want to talk about whats backing me up the most obvious is the label of each genre you mug. UK hip hop is called UK hip hop and grime is called grime. Because grime comes from the garage scene with MC's spitting over two step and UK hip hop is far more dynamic and takes influence from American hip hop. Lol wow let me guess whats backing you up? A subjective link on the internet? haha
@batche39 half of that didnt make sense so ill just give u more proof, yes they are different, but they are similar this is from website "Grime is the "New skool" sound Of UK Hip-Hop"
@2010blackhawkdown Haha, yeah sure mate. LOL so my original analysis is right, your musical wisdom comes from a website full of subjective opinion and you're trying to claim two genres with different names and roots are the same. LOL the fact they even have two different names should be evident enough that the two genres are not the same. However what's more amusing is that you're blatantly not a hip hop head or even into music. Go review some products haha.
@batche39 are you thick? i said "yes they are different, but they are similar" ik that they are different i knew that since before you replied to my first comment, why dont you read what the guy replied to me said, maybe take a leaf out of his book and reply without an insult
@2010blackhawkdown I find it even more amusing that someone who clearly just quotes lines from websites and takes them at face value is trying to lecture me about being thick. I see a paradox here. HAHA
@batche39 i dont follow the facts of websites, they are similar catorgories,i stated that before i looked on the website, ever heard of tinie tempah? all his songs are similar even though they vary from grime to uk hip-hop
@2010blackhawkdown The entire point is they aren't similar at all. There so evidently distinguished from each other its obvious. UK hip hop instrumentally, vocally and purely from the wider amount of subject matter that it covers distinguishes itself from grime. As for Tinie Tempah if he switched between genres that dosen't mean there similar. For example Plan B has evidently flitted or made transitions and combined soul with hip hop. That dosen't make the two genres similair.
@2010blackhawkdown UK hip hop and grime are entirely different in their instrumental composition and as well as the vocal style and whats more the subject matter. Also your logic is flawed. If Tinie Tempah can flit between genres that dosen't make them synonymous, for example Plan B easily flitted into soul music and in some cases combined rapping with soul music. That dosen't mean hip hop and soul are similair purely because an Artists made a transition or can flit between the two.
@batche39 what i meant is that tinie tempahs songs are all similar even though some are grime and some are uk hip hop, i didnt mean that just because he does both that they are the same thing
@Jackskeletononmyarm Haha yeah because I need you to validate my intellect oh smart one. Man I'm so stupid thats why I'm studying at one of the top universities in the country. Please oh pretentious one, go get cancer ;)
like tha way evry1 says plan b an english eminem, makin out it a bad fing... but eminem is a legend so surely that makes plan b tha same,, there both sik with there words
Great Upload!! Shame the highest Rated Comment' ain't about Plan B, but about Eminem (however true, but we could discuss his music at one of his videos) And shame about those internet-'gangsters' like f.a. SV13GRK, abusing a website like this to anonymously write all these sad words, because they are scared to actually go to the streets and say in someones face. Maybe they'd learn...who knows, some manners, or communicationskills, and ones they are grown up, maybe become a 'G' or better
SlimShady is the white king of rap/hiphop and nobody can get ova' him! And 2Pac is the Black king of rap/hiphop and never will exist one like him! Respect both of them!

Wow Plan B is just to good plus he speaks of real shit in all his songs Mad Respect!!!
rafman131 10 months ago
Plan B isnt mainstream, but believe that he is mainstream is in its self mainstream. He has gone from rap to soulful, that is exploring ones musical ability.
He goin back to hip hop though. It's good that he has proven his variation in musical ability!
adamoldskool 10 months ago
@adamoldskool hes never done hip hop, its called grime
2010blackhawkdown 6 months ago
@2010blackhawkdown this isn't grime, it's UK hip-hop. Theres a big difference, they aren't the same.
Gezim911 6 months ago
@Gezim911 UK hip-hop is often something americans call grime by mistake, Grime is the British version of hip-hop
2010blackhawkdown 6 months ago
@2010blackhawkdown nah, they're both different.
UK hip-hop artists: Skinnyman, Plan B, Lowkey, Rhyme Asylum, Logic, e.t.c.
Grime artists: Ghetts, Wiley, P Money, Tempa T, e.t.c.
UK hip-hop has been around way before Grime even started, but meh, believe what you want to believe, Grime and UK hip-hop are very similar anyway.
Gezim911 6 months ago
@Gezim911 tinie tempah isnt grime, thats definitly hip-hop, but yh your right they are different this is from wikipedia: British hip hop (usually UK Hip Hop,) is a genre of music, and a culture that covers a variety of styles of hip hop music made in the United Kingdom. It is generally classified as one of a number of styles of urban music.British hip hop was originally influenced by the New York hip hop scene. UK hip hop has been widely replaced with grime.
2010blackhawkdown 6 months ago
@2010blackhawkdown I didn't say Tinie Tempah is grime, I said Tempa T is grime, Tempa T and Tinie Tempah are two separate artists. And yes, UK hip-hop has mostly been replaced with grime but there are still some UK hip-hop artists left like Jehst and Rhyme Asylum.
I'd consider Tinie Tempah as a pop artist though he did have some grime tunes back in the day like Wifey.

@Gezim911 sorry, i missread that, my mistake
2010blackhawkdown 6 months ago
@2010blackhawkdown Its UK hip hop you bell snip. What's more if you genuinely can't decipher that then you're retarded.
batche39 6 months ago
@batche39 u know grime and uk hip hop and almost exactly the same, and wtf is a bell snip? dont start making up phrases to insult me
2010blackhawkdown 6 months ago
@2010blackhawkdown No there not you dickhead, UK hip hop is just hip hop from the UK. Thats like saying spanish hip hop is the same as grime. There two totally different genres. Different subject matter usually, different flows, bpm's and musical influence. If you look at Wiley's new album 100% publishing and then listen to Lowkey's dear listener you try telling me that UK hip hop and grime are the same. Thats like saying Rodney P is in the same genre as Dot Rotten.
batche39 6 months ago
@batche39 look, uk hip hop isnt just hip hop from the uk, its a different genre to hip hop, and its simmilar to grime this from another comment from different person on this video "Grime and UK hip-hop are very similar anyway." ive got something to back me up, wheres yours?
2010blackhawkdown 6 months ago
@2010blackhawkdown Lol well if you want to talk about whats backing me up the most obvious is the label of each genre you mug. UK hip hop is called UK hip hop and grime is called grime. Because grime comes from the garage scene with MC's spitting over two step and UK hip hop is far more dynamic and takes influence from American hip hop. Lol wow let me guess whats backing you up? A subjective link on the internet? haha
batche39 6 months ago
@batche39 half of that didnt make sense so ill just give u more proof, yes they are different, but they are similar this is from website "Grime is the "New skool" sound Of UK Hip-Hop"
2010blackhawkdown 6 months ago
@2010blackhawkdown Haha, yeah sure mate. LOL so my original analysis is right, your musical wisdom comes from a website full of subjective opinion and you're trying to claim two genres with different names and roots are the same. LOL the fact they even have two different names should be evident enough that the two genres are not the same. However what's more amusing is that you're blatantly not a hip hop head or even into music. Go review some products haha.
batche39 6 months ago
@batche39 are you thick? i said "yes they are different, but they are similar" ik that they are different i knew that since before you replied to my first comment, why dont you read what the guy replied to me said, maybe take a leaf out of his book and reply without an insult
2010blackhawkdown 6 months ago
@2010blackhawkdown I find it even more amusing that someone who clearly just quotes lines from websites and takes them at face value is trying to lecture me about being thick. I see a paradox here. HAHA
batche39 6 months ago
@batche39 my first quote was from a person, and that comment doesnt relate to you not reading what ive said properly.
2010blackhawkdown 6 months ago
@2010blackhawkdown It dosen't change the fact you blatantly just moronically follow the views of a website ;)
batche39 6 months ago
@batche39 i dont follow the facts of websites, they are similar catorgories,i stated that before i looked on the website, ever heard of tinie tempah? all his songs are similar even though they vary from grime to uk hip-hop
2010blackhawkdown 6 months ago
@2010blackhawkdown The entire point is they aren't similar at all. There so evidently distinguished from each other its obvious. UK hip hop instrumentally, vocally and purely from the wider amount of subject matter that it covers distinguishes itself from grime. As for Tinie Tempah if he switched between genres that dosen't mean there similar. For example Plan B has evidently flitted or made transitions and combined soul with hip hop. That dosen't make the two genres similair.
batche39 6 months ago
@2010blackhawkdown UK hip hop and grime are entirely different in their instrumental composition and as well as the vocal style and whats more the subject matter. Also your logic is flawed. If Tinie Tempah can flit between genres that dosen't make them synonymous, for example Plan B easily flitted into soul music and in some cases combined rapping with soul music. That dosen't mean hip hop and soul are similair purely because an Artists made a transition or can flit between the two.
batche39 6 months ago
@batche39 what i meant is that tinie tempahs songs are all similar even though some are grime and some are uk hip hop, i didnt mean that just because he does both that they are the same thing
2010blackhawkdown 5 months ago
@batche39
It also doesn't change the fact, that you're an illiterate fuck trying to act clever over the internet. And failing might I add :) Nice try though.
