  • Oh my god Jamie is hilarious. <3

  • What's the definition of a British custard and pudding because apparently strudel is a pudding

  • My Mum keeps telling me off for eating so much today. Its no wonder why though that looks so delicious that my mouth is watering

  • i looove cream cheese

  • hi...so im really not good at baking and valentines is approaching,, whats the diff. between a microwave oven and an oven toaster? i have the oven toaster, and im not sure what to bake,, haha,,

  • the "american accent" sound a whole lot like vicky pollard. haha

  • LOL! I've watched this before and I just realized you were attempting to do an American accent in the beginning XD

  • I'm planning to make this for Valentine's Day but i just wanted to know if there were any reccomendations for what kind of biscuits to use.

  • @DOMINICANA246 we used 'nice' biscuits, which have got a coconut-y flavour... but you can use anything really!

  • @sortedfood Okay thank you so much

  • @lexemily Wow that sounds awesome!!

  • @loveyoutas1 Precisely... It's just chilled!!

  • ....I'm from New York and I grew up knowing this type of cheesecake. What is the other cheesecake like? Is it like unbaked or something?

  • Does anyone know what size pan they used?

  • @lexemily it's about 20cm in diameter!

  • @sortedfood Thank you so much! I used this recipe as a base for my cooking assignment in school. We made a mango cheesecake with taro swirl and red bean sauce, with a chocolate-cinnamon crust. :)

  • @sortedfood u guys are so cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i love ur nice clean work space, your pre readied/measured supplies, and a good time with buddies!

KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! ; )

  • oh gosh now i'll go out n make one nothing like a american cheesecake

  • what if i couldn't find "nice biscuits" in the store? any other biscuits are fine too, right?

  • @lolzwafflez137 Yeah you can use any biscuits really... digestives work well!

  • 3:08 Jamie's face hahaha

  • don't you have to do a water bath when baking the cheesecake?

  • @lindseyc0827 to be on the safe side... you can. Make sure your cheesecake tin doesn't have a loose bottom or else it'll get a soggy base. But using our method, temperatures and times and you shouldn't have too much of a problem.

  • @sortedfood made it without the water bath and it came out just fine! my boyfriend was very happy with the recipe, the only thing is he wants me to make him another one! .... thanks for the recipe! two thumbs up guys =)

  • 1:32 TACTICAL FAIL INCOMING

  • And suddenly blue berries! everywhere!

  • do you guys use a magnetic induction stove top?

  • BUTTERY BISCUIT BASE

  • that chubby guy annoys me -_-.

  • @ApplessxArexGood You are now doomed.

  • omg that looks delicious,, i can almost taste it.. mmmmm

  • do you guys cook just the bisquit base because i've seen some people do it....

  • you guys are hilarious!!

love this and want to try it, just one question...does it taste eggy? because ive baked some things with eggs and it tastes eggy. :O

  • @anjellyfy Nope, shouldn't taste eggy... Much more cheesy :-P

  • @sortedfood I just tried mine and it also takes eggy. And it yellow, not white like yours :S

  • I'm going to make this today, but there's something just popped out in my mind. Can we just spread the blueberry compote on the cheese cake after it's done? Because the fresh blueberry is kind of expensive here so yeah.. Haha :D

  • @aifaasmith Of course you can - make it how you like it :-)

  • I've tried this recipe it turned out excellent! I didn't like any sort of cheese before, i don't like eating whatever cheesecake , I just wanted to make for my sister but ended me eating almost all of it!

  • aww please respond :(

  • hey sorted, dont mind me asking, but how many inches is the cheesecake tin?

  • I've seen some people put boiling water into a larger pan and then they put the cheesecake pan in to the water and bake it. Does that affect the baking process much?

  • Is Jamie always this messy?

  • LOL 1:37 I think Jamie's stepping on the blueberries to red of the evidence ;D <3

  • Have you made a no-bake version of this? I'd like to see one if you haven't. (: Love you guys, your chicken recipies are awesome.

  • @yankeebrat11 Have a look at our Freezecake recipe :-D

  • like it

  • LOL at 1:32. :)

  • Hi Sorted! Hope you would sitll ans this! I just baked my cheesecake with your recipe in an 9.5inch springform cake pan. I am not sure which kind of cream cheese your recipe is calling for exactly, I chose cream cheese (over cream cheese spread) and it turns out that my batter is so much more thicker than the one in your video, untill after I added the eggs it became more liquidy but not as much as yours. Also, when i poured the batter into the pan its only half way full! Whts wrong? :(

  • This is the most AWESOME cheesecake I've seen. Seriously! I'm going to have to make this!

  • I love making this, but is there any way to keep the bottom sort of crunchy and crumbly? Mine always ends up soft.

  • How many pans should I get to feed 15 People? what Diameter? and im cooking for my Class

  • @exileinoblivion16 one of those cake tin rounds will easily cut into 10. Although if people are hungry then do two and get 8 out of each.

  • Making it for mum today :D

  • blue berries everywhere!!

  • Mmmmm gotta learn how to make the best cheese cake<3 cause doodii love them<3

  • lol 1:31-1:33 somebodys doing something ;)

  • Can I cool it in the fridge after cooling? I prefer cold cheesecake.

  • @DeathAngelsFury Yep, once it's about room temperature then store it in the fridge and eat within 2-3 days (if you can save it without scoffing it before then!)

  • que pedo con el wey de la playera azul habla como joto

WTF with the one with blue shirt he speaks like gay is he gay?

  • I've try this recipe yesterday and it taste really really good. Everyone complimented it! Must try recipe. Thanks SORTED!!

  • @bmee29 You're welcome... glad you and everyone enjoyed it! So what's next on the menu to try?

  • @sortedfood Probably a retry on the macaroons. The macaroons on my last attempt doesn't have a nice smooth surface. :(

  • this is one of the few deserts I know how to make by heart. It also tastes good with some chopped white chocolate. oh yum! ♥

  • I love all your desserts! But I want to make something this coming winter for my family but my stepdad is diabetic. Can you recommend a dish?

  • I made this yesterday for my moms birthday :D The only problem I had was with biscuits.. When everything was baked the bottom part of biscuits crumbs sooo much :/ And when I mixed them with butter they did seem dry, but I did everything like in the recipe.. Should I put less biscuits/more butter? Oh and I used real cheese instead and mixed it until it was smooth :D

  • what would i have to do with all the stuff on the hob if i didn't put blueberries in?

    Thanks

  • This was uploaded on my Birthday!!!! : )

  • This looks great, does the cake need to be served hot or can i serve it the day after? (I need to bring it to work) thanks guys!

  • is it possible to put blue berries in the filling and not just on top?

  • @thatshardcore1 You can do... best to dust them in flour first and then then drop them on the top just before cooking. It's just enough to stop them all sticking to the bottom but instead they become submerged. Do it with raw ones as the compote is too wet.

  • im going to try baking this for my mom's 49th birthday (cuz cheesecake is her favourite)... I'm such a noob in the kitchen but my best friend is going to help me >_< thanks for the recipe!

  • @meenosagittarius91 Hope your mum likes it! Wish her Happy Birthday from us! :D

  • @sortedfood Awww... lol i will, thank you! ^_^

  • Jamie's American accent is TERRIBLE. But hilariously so! :)

  • Jamie's American accent was great. I was a bit thrown off in the beginning thought, like "Wait...something is not right here."

  • American Jamie scares me.

  • I made cheesecake from this recipe but i grated some chocolate at the base and added the fruit caramel on top of the cheese filing with some chocolate flakes and it came out amazing. Also i put lesser caster sugar :D. Thank you so much for this recipe, this is the easiest recipe I tried and it was delicious, everybody enjoyed it!

  • jamie is a knobhead.

  • the blueberries! hahaha :D

  • Watching these are making me hungry! It all looks so tasty.

  • Why is he talking like a flamboyant pansexual :(

  • Instead of blueberries, I want to ue strawberries, would I use the same steps as the blueberries or would they be different?

  • I love how Jaimie and you guys mess around, it makes your videos so much more identifiable and fun to watch.

  • what kind of crackers did you use?

  • @thecookie354 these were digestive biscuits, but you can use anything you like. Graham Crackers or how about Oreo Cookies?

  • @RsDaycationRs well americans do just one accent, when theirs about ten British accents

  • Do You Think You Could Make a macaroni cheese but but low in fat please ?

  • are there no graham crackers in the uk? Because that's *traditional* NY chesecake base...

  • please make vol-au-vonts!

  • Lol this is how my sister has been making her cheesecake for years but she adds the juice from a lemon or two and it's amazing:)

  • are you guys roommates?

  • can you use chocolate cookies for the base...?

  • @LadyYaoiGirl I don't see why not... a nice creative twist in fact!

  • I wonder what this would be like with custard creams in the bottom...

  • a cooking channel that has dudes.....

subbed just for the irony :3

haha jk actuaily alot of ur videos actuailly have pretty delicious looking things o:

too bad i cant cook xD

  • wonderful accent in the beginning ;)

  • is there a substitute for the eggs cause im a vegetarian?

  • @KarismaParekh You'd be either a lactarian or a vegan if you couldn't eat eggs and sadly there is no alternative to eggs which will work in exactly the same way. You can, though, try flax seeds, bananas, silken tofu or egg substitutes (such as Ener-G egg replacer).

  • why do british people who try to do an american accent end up sounding gay?

  • @animefan4456 ether that or southern

  • @animefan4456 why do american people who try to do an british accent end up sounding extremely posh?

  • @animefan4456 'Cause all Americans sound gay... Obviously.

  • @animefan4456 Because they do it accurately :P

  • @animefan4456 right?!

  • @animefan4456 why do american people who try to do an british accent end up sounding gay as well? lol

  • 1:31 FAIL hehe silly Jamie!! I love how he tries to pretend it didn't happen. =3

  • Ben & Jamie are my favorite pair... you guys are the funniest. You need to get your cook books to the U.S!

  • @xoxoallieexoxo If you add Barry in the mix, and that's my favorite trio!! And I agree about the cookbooks.

  • What about a microwaved cheese cake?

  • i love the british accent!

  • @gamania122 Perfect! That's what we like to hear! :D

  • can you use any kind of berry?

  • @hitherefriendly any type of berry will work... some of the larger ones like strawberries will need slightly longer in the pan to soften.

  • Love the accent at the beginning! Spot on! xD

  • 1:30 - lol.

    Thanks for the recipe though!

  • im so glad i found you guys. wouldve had to survive on instant noodles other wiseXD

  • Lol He waste the grapes

  • @sortedfood What's The Difference Using The Nice Biscuits Rather Than Digestives? And Why Did You Add The Flour?

  • @embemtherainbow The flour and the eggs are what enables you to bake it rather than just let it set in the fridge. By all means use digestive biscuits... personally I quite like the very slight coconut flavour.

  • @sortedfood, What's The Difference With Using Nice Biscuits Instead Of Digestives?

  • You make it look so easy! I really have to ry this... :)

  • how long do you have to put this in the fridge for after?

  • @stgirlfriend 2-3 hours should normally do it. But it keeps in the fridge for about 3 days!

  • I'm a big fan of melt-in-your-mouth chocolate cheesecake - how would you alter the recipe to account for the chocolate?

  • I don't cook with eggs (it's a cultural thing) can I make this without the eggs?

  • FAIL!.. Had you considered culinary school?.. you are a TRAGEDY... Can you say sweet souffle?.. putz

  • I'm a bit confused as to what type of cream cheese to use >_< Is there a particular brand I should go for? What did you use in the video? Thanks!

  • @Shayeda1988 Just a plain one will do

  • Could you line a normal tin with greaseproof paper, because I don't have a loose bottom tin, would that work

  • @danty362 It would indeed. Bit more tricky to get it out of the tin the other end, but that's the way we all used to do it before loose bottomed tins were available. :D

  • YOU guys are sooooooo freaking adorable with your British accents!!! I live in U.S and His american accent was so dead on right, I just couldn't stop laughing!!! and by the way a good alternative recipe I use for my cheese cake is Mascarpone cheese, and two cream cheese!! and I also don't add any flour, the cheesecake turns out so creamy and melt in your mouth!! Let me know if you get a chance to try it out!! Lots of love from America <3

  • I have to convert the temperatures. Over here it's fahrenheit. That was really confusing at first. I was thinking, "My oven doesn't get that low on temp. . ."

  • @ellison6413

lol. I thought most ovens had both temperatures on the nobs though? Mine does at least.

  • hahahah so funny when he drop those berries and expression was like HAHA OOPS
