@JoshsTubeRocks Mine's a couple of years old now, but I've been using the Digitech JamMan. It has been a simple learning curve and I've had good customer service when it had a problem last year. I made this video within a few days of buying it, so you can see how easy it was to figure out. It also has a dual input for guitar and vocals, which the smaller units don't offer. I haven't tried many others, but I'm happy with this one.
@JoshsTubeRocks The layers are unlimited, by you can only remove the last one recorded. Thus, I save any melodic loops for last, so I can remove them for a bridge, for example. I'm not sure what "duel" refers to. That might mean it has duel inputs, which is a very good thing. I don't think any of them limit the amount of layers.
This was really great! Going here wating for my rc-20. Been listening to many loop users, and was starting to regrett that I orderd it. But you gave me hope for my new toy :)
Hey, I think it's great! I have a JamMan and you've just got to play around with it for all the background sounds. Good job on this! And you look like you're having a good time. That's even better!
ok that was pretty cool. really enjoyed the creativity of the looping. only play rythm at the minute myself and i'd like to get a loop pedal to help with writing lead and improving overall. any advice.
Nice work! Been scouring the net for examples of loop pedals done well and this has to be one of the best! Completely entertaining and fantastic musicianship, man. Thanks for sharing
mark you big damn goofballZ! i've gotten into some looping myself. i'm working out the kinks, but i think i'm a goin' hillbilly thomas dolby in my old age.
haha I like the creativity. Never thought of using a looping station for this cover. what model did you use in this vid? i'm looking for a good one myself.
They are cheaper in the US. I saw a guitar only Boss loop pedal at Guitar Center for $185. If you want to incoporate voice with a separate volume control then it's around $300. There are some cheaper used ones on ebay.
No, none of the notes change. I'm playing the guitar part live and the bass line that I sang fits in with all of the chord structures, both in the verse and chorus.
This is awesome. Me and my friends have been becoming fans of your work ever since we stumbled upon "Aquaman's Lament" (My friends and I are the ones who asked permission to do a music video for it). I think this was a really creative idea, and the title is fine the way it is. Very cool song.
Being a huge MJ fan, I'm usually sceptical about remixes of his songs, but that was amazing! Awesome job. I'm just surprised you don't have more views. You left out a few lines of Vincent Price, but that is negligible. Again great job. Favorited!
Thanks. Glad ya like it. Please check me out on facebook or myspace for some more videos and original songs. I appreciate you taking time to comment. Hope you're having a good new year.
Hello again! Was leery of this, don't much like covers to songs. Actually ended up liking your version quite a bit-- you had fun with it and it shows. Only problem is the sound quality is not so great, but I'm not sure that can be helped...! You made good use of the loop effect, and it was silly, but enjoyable.
Well, the natural thing to do when you get a toy like that is stay in your room for countless hours trying to figure out how to use it. Glad ya dig it.
I'm using an Am adding and removing a G bass for most of the song. The rest is a F and G, and an E at the very end of phrases. Hope that helps. Have fun.
what loop pedal would you suggest as i really want to get one.

@markaaronjames ok cool, ive been looking at ones which dont say duel, does this mean you can only record one layer and not lets say 4 layers?
(thanks for responding so quickly)

@broadwaybound1000 I played an Am with a moving G bass line for the verse with F to G for the turn arounds. That's pretty much it.
