I think that book,"The Innocent Seduced", was a reference to the "The Seduction of the Innocence" in 1954. It talked of how comics and other media were a bad influence to children. It also talked about Superman being a fascist, Batman and Robin being gay lovers, and Wonder Woman being a lesbian.

That's a real book he quotes from called Seduction of the Innocent. It was written in the 50s, I believe. It was full of the kind of rubbish he quoted and eventually brought about the Comic Code Authority "approval" system that you still see branded on Marvel and DC comics.
