Just putting this out there: I knew a guy that, when he kept guinea pigs, generally had a pool kept clean and filled near their hutch with a ramp leading in and out of it. Never saw him picking pigs up just to put them in the pool. I'd be over there to see pigs bum rushing that ramp both in and out of that pool on a regular basis between binges on grass.

That's definitive proof that water is not a universally terrible thing for guinea pigs.

Grow up, the guinea pig isn't showing any signs of stress, If it was stressed out or affraid it would make it known to the owners, believe me. You're obviously the one who doesn't know the body language of an animal when it is frightend.
