BUT, I wished that there was more. After seeing approximately 40 episodes when I was 12, I would expect a song about the second animal shown. It would interesting to hear what Dave will sing about our species, but I'm disheartened that this is all we get to see. :(
The Human in the film footage is none other then Dave Goelz!
He's the puppeteer who preforms Gonzo The Great, Bunsen Honeydew, Zoot, Beauregard, Digit, Boober Fraggle, Traveling Matt, Stinky The Skunk and many other great Muppet characters.
Also, That was Bill Barretta preforming Dave The Human cause Dave Goelz was busy preforming Stinky The Skunk.
The Animal Show was the first time I knowingly heard his voice, and I instantly loved it. I had previously heard it on Sesame Street, as the Elephant Elevator Operator, but I didn't realise at the time that they were the same puppeteer.
All these years later, I'm still none the wiser about how to pronounce his surname, but I love his characters all the same!
@LaDracul Yes he does! I saw a video of the ride a few weeks ago, and Figment doesn't sound too much like Dave's other characters, apparantly they raised the pitch of his voice, possibly to make it sound closer to the original Figment.

@athull08 I think it's pronounced 'Goals'.
I think he also does the voice of Figment in EPCOT's Journey into Imagination ride. :)

Hey neat, it's one of the two most sought after clips from The Animal Show! Glad to see it recovered for all to see.
Hopefully the clip with Sam the Eagle making a cameo on the show can't be too far behind ;)
