@RonPaulHatesBlacks Here's a hypothetical situation for ya. What would you say if I found a copy of the cornerstone speech that was strictly abolishionist? You would probably scream "forgery" at the top of your lungs, wouldn't you?
@Passmore246 This will create a hysterical situation for Ronnie as he only has a dozen or so scripted post-it notes to reply back. He'll speak a bunch of jibberish and end with, " you don't believe slavery is morally wrong. Nothing else matters." He needs new software and a re-boot up between the cheeks.
You johnny rebs never give up , gotta respect that, but you boys got wooped so get over it already. England set you all up for the fall to split america in half soes we'd be easier to defeat and england would have her colony back, thats a fact boy.
@claddaghcelt Lol, that was funny. But out of the vast majority of words in his liberal vocabulary, "rationing" isn't one of them, considering it's a synonym of "conserving" or, "conservative". He eats more doughnuts than he (or, "his mom") can afford, a benefit of having the naive and unpaid paperboy ShawTTy to go fetch them for him.
One thing is certain, RPHB isn't sick of the central government. He wants them to preserve our tax dollars to perpetually pay his way to troll Confederate videos. He'll never bite the hand that feeds him, but don't ever take him off the tit.....he could become even more ugly.
@FastPonyGT ...I don't think the central government can be related to as a "woman", but since 1963 as more of a "man"... And a hideous, gay-rights supporting, pro-choice, athiestic-socialism man... and RPHB is sucking on his "area" like no other. Eww... though it makes you feel like hurling thinking about it, it's clearly a more accurate picture. This "cornerstone speech" of which RPHB so crappily explains was the opinion of one man, and he's grossly exaggerating it.
@GunnytheBunny1 Please forgive me, Bunny. But whatever RPHB's slurping on...you know he's getting all the nutrients he'll ever need to continue his tireless tirade against us Confederate folk. He lives and breathes the opinion of a group who represented some in 4 states. He'll never address the CAUSE of other STATES, as it obviously doesn't fit into his tidy lil' package that we're all supporting those opinions. My homestate of Virginia was simply defending itself from tyranny.
how many of you know that southern arizona supported dixie? no major battles, just small south of phoenix battles, im surprised (and not) that this portion of history is not widely known. i must say im proud that our portion of the state was sick of cent. government.
@flicmydik The confederacy wasn't "sick of cent. government." They just wanted to preserve and expand their "cornerstone" of slavery and white supremacism. Their central government barred free speech, suspended habeas corpus, and barred anyone from ever limiting slavery in any way, at any time---forever. No thanks.
@CIGZwithALEXandFREDY Fuck yeah!!! When are you going to start fighting for your "Mother Dixie"? Which American military base will you attack first? How many American soldiers are you hoping to kill? Do you plan to torture them first, or just murder them in cold blood?
I'm so proud to know, that many of my ancestors were citizens of the Confederate States of America. Even Prouder to know many of mine fought and died for it.
@LSUtigersfan97 I'm glad your ancestors died before they could murder even more American soldiers who fought as bravely as Pat Tillman. And I'm glad they lost, and the confederate "cornerstone" of slavery and white supremacism was eradicated. If they had won, how many slaves would you own today? Just a few, or a plantation full?
@LSUtigersfan97 But slavery was the self-declared "cornerstone" of the entire confederacy. Are you also pro-Nazi but against anti-Semitism through and through?
@RonPaulHatesBlacks Pro-Nazi? Hardly. Pal, my grandads all fought against the Nazis. Their dad's fought the Kaiser, and Their Dad's fought on both sides of the Mason-Dixon. I'm Catholic, mate, I follow the code that everyone is equal. Have a nice day.
@LSUtigersfan97 You too. I wish the confederacy followed the code that everyone is equal. Too bad their nation was explicitly founded upon the "great physical, philosophical, and moral truth" that "the negro is not equal to the white man; that slavery---subordination to the superior race---is his natural and normal condition." No thanks.
@RonPaulHatesBlacks There was a Jewish family from South Carolina with the surname of Moise. Many of them fought for the Confederacy. My guess is they weren't anti-Semitic.
@LSUtigersfan97 But slavery was the self-declared "cornerstone" of the entire confederacy. Are you also pro-Nazi but against anti-Semitism through and through?
@RonPaulHatesBlacks Too bad your ancestors weren't slaughtered so we'd not have to hear the parrot troll preaching about "morality." But you being such a big loser in life by trolling these videos gives us all great satisfaction, and a big ol' grin from ear to ear. BTW, why have slaves when it costs nothing to own a dumbass such as you? We'll just haunt you forever.
Our Southeran Patriots recognized the Prodigy of Evil before it had been conceived, let alone born of the NWO. The Resistance of Dixie was not just against Centralization of Federal power in these United States, but against the Tyranny that now raises its Banners against every Freedom loving World Citizen.
SOUTHERN PRIDE BY THE GLORY OF GOD YEEEEEEEEHAWWWWWWWW....LIKE THIS IF YER A PROUD MEMEBER OF THE GLORIOUS SOUTHLAND! YEEEHAW HOW BOUT WE GO GIVE THE YANKEE NATION ANOTHER RUN I THINK WE CAN TAKE EM THIS TIME YEEHAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
@DixePrideSON17 I'm with ya Brother!!!!!! say when and i'll be there with a gun and bayonette and more pride than any yank ever thought of! The south not only will but MUST rise again
Ugh...except for grumpy ol' uneducated know nothing trolls who lie like hell on Pro-Confederate videos, but acting as if they actually know something. They're the worst.
@FastPonyGT Did RPHB slap a cable between two hot dog buns and gnawed on it or something? I've missed hearing from you, man. What's worse than "A" grumpy ol' uneducated know-nothing trolls who lies like hell on Pro-Confederate videos, but acting as if they actually know something, is "THE" grumpy ol' uneducated know-nothing trolls who lies like hell on Pro-Confederate videos, but acting as if they actually know something, followed by an army of his ranting parrots.
Ugh. There's nothing worse than uneducated, know-it-all asshole teenage boys spamming the board with ridiculous UN-conspiracy theories and flat out lies about the president.
@RonPaulHatesBlacks Isn't it about time you shove some more Kremes down your throat? "There's nothing worse than uneducated, know-it-all asshole teenage boys spamming the board with ridiculous UN-conspiracy theories and flat out lies about the president." Blah, blah, blah. I suppose you live in a fantasy world where the government is always there for you, a world where people start wars over the color of another's skin, and a world where doughnuts are healthy, am I right?
Dixie forever, lets go at it again................Ron Paul 2012, he will be the first write in to win an election....to hell with both parties, they are full of lying bigots and thieves.
@Passmore246 And if this gives you any idea about me, my name is ethan , I'm 18, I'm learning three languages, three of my five best friends are black, and I myself have a little African heritage. I'm related to Abraham Lincoln on my dads side, and I'm 1/6 Cherokee from my moms side
@Passmore246 Don't bother arguing with the Krispy Kreme Keyboard Krusader, RPHB! *cough* he's like a one-way radio, words come out, but none go in. Nobody cares to read his overused scripts because after 24-hours-a-day,-365-days-a-year of his trolling, everyone has memorized them by now. In fact, we might as well make our own "RPHB Bible" and refer to it when he contradicts himself, not a rare occasion. We should laugh and have fun while we're debunking him - he's a living joke.
@Passmore246 And something I like to study more than history is people. Before I started commenting on YouTube I studied my opposition just so I would know what I was getting into. The first comment of yours that I read told me that you are prone to narsasism and compulsive lying, you have little to no friends, you are most likely African American, are easily decived, and possibly ADHD
@RonPaulHatesBlacks And I don't hate blacks like you keep saying I do. I do, however, have a strong dislike for people that will label someone before they even know them. For instance, you labeled me racist before you even knew Im white. And though I've told you time and again that I care not about the color of a mans skin, you continue to attempt to spred lies about a person you have never met.
@Passmore246 a piece of 16 foot by 3 inch channel iron by your self and put it on a 4 foot high bandsaw. And when its cut into 13 seven foot long pieces, carry it three at a time over 200 feet by hand in 95 degree weather
@RonPaulHatesBlacks I don't do much research on modern topics but that doesn't mean that I don't research at all. The last I had heard about the email was nearly four years ago when it came out. I care nothing in the world for google and I would rather read a book to get my information. Everything I have said about the war of northern aggression I learned from studying government issued high school and college level history books. And as for lazy, I would like to see you lift
On the issue of the birth certif. "I can't spend all of my time with my birth certif plastered on my forehead". The listed place on the phony birth certif is Kapiolani Maternity & Gynecological Hosp. In 1961 these hospitals were called Kaukeolani Childrens Hosp. & Kapiolani Maternity Home. The name did not change until 1978, when the 2 hospitals merged. How can this hospital be on a birth certif dated 1961 if this name had not yet been applied to it until 1978.
In 1961, the supposed year Barry was born, blacks were called Negroes, Barry's birth certif states he is African-American when that term didn't exist at that time. The birth certif that the White House released lists Obama’s birth as August 4, 1961. It also lists Barack Hussein Obama as his father. At the time of Barry’s birth it shows his father is 25 yrs old and that Barry’s father was born in Kenya, Africa.
Kenya didn’t exist until 1963, 2 years after Obama’s birth and 27 yrs after Obama‘s fathers birth. How could Barry’s father been born in a country that didn’t exist yet? Up until 1963 it was known as British East Africa. How about his soc sec # issued in CT; SEALED school/college/transcripts/grades/Diplomas.
Barry applied for a Fulbright Scholarship from Indonesia as a foreign student under his real name Barry Soetoro; why did he seal his applications for loans/housing rental/passport; where are his non existent doctors/teachers/school mates/pictures/year book. RON PAUL 2012!!! And I'm Hispanic (non Mexican).
Barry will find an excuse and will drop out of the race, his past is catching up with him, i.e. Kapiolani Maternity & Gynecological Hosp.; Fulbright scholarship; sealed appls. for loans/housing/passport; Soc Sec card from CT; non existent doctors/teachers/school mates/pictures/year book; Zeituni Onyango; deportations indefinitely delayed by Barry without ANY Congressional action or authorization, the Bad Dream Act; Immigration Reform=Amnesty=Rewarding 20 million lawbreakers. RON PAUL 2012!!!
1/26/12 Barry ignored court subpoena. Atty. Leo Donofrio who challenged Barry's eligibility to be president all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court says he fears that even if the justices declared Barry constitutionally unqualified, he'd simply ignore the ruling and continue issuing orders. What is going on in this country?
The illegal Kenyan a.k.a. Barry Soetoro pulled the greatest hoax this country has ever seen. 2/16/12 While many of us have been calling Congress demanding action against Obama's unlawful and unconstitutional Amnesty memo, elected officials are finally starting to respond to Barry's unlawful policies decreed by memo instead of law or even a formal executive order to create an Amnesty for 20 millions of illegals and in the process override Congress, the elections, the Constitution & your voice.
@RonPaulHatesBlacks I only saw it on the news during the elections back in 08. But I did some research and found where he voted against a no flag burning bill that was to be passed by congress. I apologize for posting without researching, but I can tell you this will be one of the few times you will have the pleasure of besting me in debate. As I have said before, I have studied history. But that doesn't mean I keep track of everything that goes on now
@Passmore246 Thanks for admitting that you're a pathetic liar who doesn't do any research at all and has no shame about posting outright lies taken from a hoax e-mail. A 5-second Google search would have told you the truth, but you were too stupid and lazy to do even that. No one should believe anything you say.
High school. College. Intellectual modesty. Honesty. These are good things.
@RonPaulHatesBlacks I don't hate him because he's black. In fact, I don't hate him. I have a strong dislike for the flag he stands for, which isn't the American flag like you probably think. He's a socialist so he stands with the hammer and sickle. He even admitted to burning American flags with his wife and said that he would try to change the flag to something a little less oppressive. Last year he signed an aggrement with the UN and said that he will sign a treaty with them
@sewagedweller And yet there are very few countries that haven't joined them or aren't under their control. And it won't be long before most powerful nation joins them if obama has his way
@RonPaulHatesBlacks The U.N. is becoming a world order. And if obama is reelected and signs the treaty with them you can kiss your beloved union and every one of the rights we have here goodbye. Any treaty signed with any foriegn establishment by the U.S. will void the constitution destroying everything that you hold dear. Such as your right to free speech, of course for us that would be more of a blessing than a curse
@sewagedweller If someone is simple enough to fall for the confederacy's message of racism and hate, they'll probably swallow insane UN conspiracy theories, too. It's funny when the tinfoil hat squad posts dire predictions "if Obama is elected." He's been in office for three years---the UN is not a "world order," no treaties have disappeared, no one came to take their guns, lizard people have not ascended, and Obama blocked the "NAU pipeline." They hate him because they're stupid and he's black.
@RonPaulHatesBlacks i liked obama's environmental protection act , and some of his econ polices. He made promises he couldn't keep , some of his policies suck etc. Really the hippie message lets love negro is not very refined or intellectual . Actually hate and love have little to do with intelligence .You would know that if you weren't a fucking moron .
@sewagedweller Awesome. Do you know where and when Obama "admitted to burning American flags with his wife"? It's a pretty simple question, I don't think your buddy and fellow "negro"-hater is ever going to answer it.
The antebellum South didn't fear centralized power---they supported it in order to protect their beloved slavery and enforce the Fugitive Slave Act. And they exercised and abused centralized power with regard to the 3,500,000 innocent people they held in chains. The whack-job NWO conspiracy theorists should think twice before hitching their wagon to the racist, tyrannical confederacy.
The worst fears of the Antebellum South concerning Centralized abuse of power is now coming to fruition worldwide. The principles of state's rights and individualism championed by the South are never more pertinent than as we watch our national sovereignty in grave danger as the NWO grows.
@EpicTrollBeastMan Thanks for spraying the N-word and removing all doubt about the REAL reason you support the confederacy and what a sick, uneducated monster you really are. Enjoy the hate speech warning or account deletion, you evil piece of shit.
One would have thought that maybe...just maybe RPHB, after having taken a troll break the last couple of days could've at the very least come up with something more than a scripted post. On second thought...nah... he is what he is... a "whopping" whopper of a troll true to form. He never fails to disappoint.
@FastPonyGT, C'mere, seems as if the twin pistons in our bigoted friend RP"G"HB's ass are still in working condition, pumping the gas from his intestines into his head, filling his brain with the mindless thoughts that he's "appreciated", then huffing it out onto his keyboard. Ronnie doesn't know when to quit, does he? I guess he added emphasis to your prievious point by yank"ee"-ing a script from his underwear and slapping it on the back of your comment.
@EpicTrollBeastMan I've never watched a movie about the civil war and I don't think I'm a historian. History, especially the politics of past wars, has always been my best subject. I never made below a 96
If President Davis' first act was to free the slaves, & enlist them into the Confederate services, the moral rug would have been pulled from under President Lincoln, & the war would then be entirely about states' rights, with perhaps a very different ending. Might there have been a very short war with a negotiated settlement limiting federal power? With the slaves freed, might Britain and France have intervened? My head explodes contemplating what might have been from one brilliant act. Hmmm....
@horselips That was impossible for 5,000 reasons. Davis was ardently pro-slavery. He didn't have the power to free the slaves---the confederate constitution explicitly barred anyone from ever limiting slavery in any way, much less abolishing it. Davis would have been immediately deposed or murdered, and his order rescinded---slavery was the reason for secession and the "cornerstone" of the entire confederacy. If the South was open to ending slavery, it wouldn't have seceded in the first place.
@horselips So the CSA's first act should have been one that is unconstitutional and a productive of big federal government?... I think you missed the whole point of this war by a mile.
@EpicTrollBeastMan So, I guess you prefer the course and ending of the war as it really played out. Principles & Ideology notwithstanding, the primary mission in any war is to WIN, or at least have your cause survive in a negotiated settlement. Otherwise, your lost ideals are just bags of trash in the landfill of history. Successful leaders are perceptive, with vision wider in scope and detail than their followers. They're supposed to 'get it' and play the hand they're dealt to win.
@horselips If you trample on the cause in the process of "winning" a war then the cause itself is in vain. The war was fought because the federal government was trying to impose its will on the states on countless pieces of legislation. If the CSA's government did that it would have been hypocrisy to the ultimate degree...
@horselips Unfortunately many of the southern Democrats were part of the wealthy planter aristocracy which depended upon slavery. Much of the more well educated and enlightened thinkers were out in the battlefield. The Lees, the Jacksons, the Longstreets, and the Johnstons unfortunately didn't have the chance to have any kind of political draw to wrestle the South in favor of abolition.
@DarkFilmDirector You're right and I knew this, but we can dream can't we? Just imagine what kind of negotiated settlement might have been worked out - a whole new relationship between the federal and state governments that might have changed our national future forever. Somebody needs to fully explore the personalities of the times and their political positions, and write the book or make the movie. Done well enough, it might even have some influence today.
@sakonaga1 The Five Civilized Tribes of Indian Territory (Cherokee, Creek, Choctaw, Chickasaw, and Seminole) did side with the Confederacy during the war. In fact, the last Confederate general to surrender was a Cherokee, Stand Watie.
@ThunderSooner2835II I know, that was the basis of my argument. It wasnt just the Five Civilized Tribes, Albert Pike signed on dozens of other Indian Nations who had a score to settle with the U.S. Especially after the Chivington Massacre.
the Dixie Flag is a great looking flag ... the St Andrews Cross and the Red for Christians .. and the 13 star's .. of those states that will always stick together like Family :D .. i was born in Brazil ... but truly love the Southern States .. and how they seceded not cuz of slavery but cuz of what the Government was taken away there freedom .. almost like they are doing today ... and one day it hit me .. "The South will rise again" ... and look at whats going on in the world ... and in the US
"The Basques can trace their history back to the people that created Egypt and to Atlantis more than 10,000 years ago, back to a culture that gave us civilisation. England etc should have a Basque Queen- a rightful heir"
"A massive amount of historic recognition and appreciation has been shamefully covered up towards the Basques(original europeans n origin of the white race)"
We were marginalized and neglected out of fuckin envy..point black.Hey brainwashed whites how about u worry about gettin the truth out instead n do somthin for the people that spawned u n schooled u?the basques are the origin of rh negative blood(like Jesus) a holy blood n the universal bloodline.
ronpaulhatesblacks is like a plague all over youtube. they should just ban you for all your negative comments on videos like this one. stay in the union side of youtube and stop perposefully looking up confederate videos if you hate us. you leave us alone, we will leave you alone. simple as that!
:) well, practically all the states, at least in europe, have got constitutions, only is necessary a democracy for have a magic paper, but isn't necessary a magic paper for be free. Maybe I'm an anarchist but I think that you always will free, independently if the political system of your country is a communism, a nazism, a dictatorship or a democracy. :D
@NightmareOnSL The confederate constitution was a piece of paper that denied freedom. It explicitly provided that no one could ever limit slavery in any way, much less prohibit it. It was designed to ensure that 3.5 million innnocent people---and all of their descendants---would remain in chains.
It's amazing that a few people still defend and celebrate that. They sincerely do not believe slavery is wrong. They don't think black folks are entitled to freedom.
@RonPaulHatesBlacks Uhh... I celebrate the Confederacy and I think black folks or entitled to freedom. But we are never going to have time to help your starving reletives in Africa if we can't solve our problems from 150 yeas ago. It's not like the Yanks had any care for the slaves.
@RonPaulHatesBlacks yo have absolutely no idea what you are talking about im proud of my heritage and unless you just moved to america you should be proud of it too
@gamerfallout The overwhelming majority of Southerners are proud of their heritage as Americans. They don't define themselves through the specific group of racist traitors who for a few years murdered American soldiers to try to preserve their "cornerstone" of slavery and white supremacism. Similarly, the majority of Germans are proud of their German heritage, but not the Nazis. It's a heritage of hate.
@gamerfallout I didn't cite any textbooks, kiddo. I cite the South's own Cornerstone Speech and Mississippi, Texas, South Carolina, and Georgia declarations of secession. You should read them sometime.
Lee refused to free the Custis slaves until the eve of the second EP, in December 1862. Grant voluntarily freed the only slave he ever owned, William Jones, years before the war though he badly needed the money that would have come from a sale. Stop parroting lies from confederate hate sites.
@Passmore246 The Constitution is a contract. A contract doesn't have to say that a party can't back out
"no State can at pleasure release itself therefrom, and set up for itself. The compact can only be dissolved by the consent of the other parties, or by usurpations or abuses of power justly having that effect. It will hardly be contended that there is anything in the terms or nature of the compact, authorizing a party to dissolve it at pleasure."
@RonPaulHatesBlacks It is possible that the paers exist but were just push aside and forgotten. It happens all the time, in fact someone just recently found some microscope slides that had been lost for 100 years in cabinet in a museum in Europe. The slides were buried under a pile of boxes. People are still sorting through artifacts that were shelved over 100 years ago
@RonPaulHatesBlacks How do you know there is no evidence of it? Do you have some magic crystal ball that tells you everything, past, present, and future? It is possible that it exists on paper locked in a vault in a museum somewhere and was long forgotten under stacks of boxes
@Passmore246 Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!! The confederacy and "Europeans" had a secret agreement that no one on Earth has ever seen or heard of, but it "exists on paper locked in a vault in a museum somewhere." Hahahahahahahahahahaha!!! Which museum? Which vault? Oh, we don't know---it's "long forgotten under stacks of boxes"!!! The ignorant neo-confederates invent more fake evidence than the truthers and birthers combined!!! Ooh---maybe the lizard people have the fake agreement!!!
Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!! The confederacy and "Europeans" had a secret agreement that does not exist on paper, has never been seen by anyone, was never reported by anyone, was never discussed by Jefferson Davis or anyone else, and has no evidentiary support of any kind!!!! Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!! Don't the racists ever stop posting the N-word and lying through their teeth?
It's absurd. Equally you can say that the confederacy and the europeans are free for the simple fact of being a person and you need a stupid paper for be a man.
But be in paceful: Im not a nerd, I never will think it, I think that everyone is free, and also you're a free person like me, because each have a moral :)
@NightmareOnSL It's necessary because in English we have a word for claims that are completely made up and have zero evidentiary support. They're called "lies."
@RonPaulHatesBlacks I did read it. In fact I studied it. I have know since I was 13 that it was not in any of the articles or ammendments. If you really know as much as you think you do then point it out to me. Which article was it? Do you even know?
The confederacy was going to abolish slavery anyway---hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!! Don't you neo-confederates EVER stop lying? The Confederate constitution explicitly barred anyone from ever abolishing slavery---forever!!! It became clear that Europe would never recognize the confederacy unless it abolished slavery, and the confederacy REFUSED. Given the choice between abolition and defeat, they chose defeat. They said "We Want No Confederacy Without Slavery."
@RonPaulHatesBlacks Umm, no I'm not. I remember explicitally reading that they were going to free them 20 years after the War ended. That was the agreement between the Europeans and Confederates. At that time, the freeing of the slaves would completely destroy their economy. You can't judge them because they didn't win the War. No, they said "I'd rather die a thousand deaths."
Africans are still enslaving each other, so hop on the boat, Mr. Ronnie.
@RonPaulHatesBlacks ACTUALLY.... the confederacy DID make offers in England and an even more sympathetic France to begin phasing out slavery if they were given official recognition in return. But the Europeans weren't buying it.
@RonPaulHatesBlacks general lee freed his slaves before the war and jackson kept his to school them and then freed them. grant had his taken by force after the war.
@RonPaulHatesBlacks Look up Duncan F. Kenner. Do you have access to EBSCOhost library links? If not I can give you two online sources. Davis sent Kenner to Europe to up the ante for recognition. I'm sure Wikipedia has something on him. There's also h tt p :/ / w w w .americanforeignrelations(DOT) com /A-D/Civil-War-Diplomacy-The-slavery-issue-and-the-end-of-confederate-diplomacy.html#b
@raisin212k Thanks very much. November 1864 was way too little and too late---several months after the fall of Atlanta---and the British surely knew the offer was worthless, and would never pass the confederate congress. They refused to allow emancipation even for military service until March 1865.
If the South ever does rise again...(can you rise "again" when you had your ass whipped the first time you tried?) they will lose...of course most big southern cities have aftican-american mayors and many, many, many new southereners are from the north...yup...the old days are gone forever! GOD BLESS THE USA! Sorry boys but Bull Conner aint coming back.
@FastPonyGT You know what's really funny? I think Rphb blocked me after I asked him that

No thanks.

Hmmm....
horselips 1 week ago 10
This has been flagged as spam show
@horselips That was impossible for 5,000 reasons.
RonPaulHatesBlacks 1 week ago
@horselips So the CSA's first act should have been one that is unconstitutional and a productive of big federal government?... I think you missed the whole point of this war by a mile.
EpicTrollBeastMan 1 week ago
@EpicTrollBeastMan So, I guess you prefer the course and ending of the war as it really played out. Principles & Ideology notwithstanding, the primary mission in any war is to WIN, or at least have your cause survive in a negotiated settlement. Otherwise, your lost ideals are just bags of trash in the landfill of history. Successful leaders are perceptive, with vision wider in scope and detail than their followers. They're supposed to 'get it' and play the hand they're dealt to win.
horselips 1 week ago

DarkFilmDirector 1 week ago in playlist Music
@DarkFilmDirector You're right and I knew this, but we can dream can't we? Just imagine what kind of negotiated settlement might have been worked out - a whole new relationship between the federal and state governments that might have changed our national future forever. Somebody needs to fully explore the personalities of the times and their political positions, and write the book or make the movie. Done well enough, it might even have some influence today.

@RonPaulHatesBlacks You still haven't shown me where in the constitution it states secession is ilegal
Passmore246 1 week ago
@Passmore246 He can't because it doesn't exist.
RebelSoldat1 1 week ago
@Passmore246 The Constitution is a contract. A contract doesn't have to say that a party can't back out
"no State can at pleasure release itself therefrom, and set up for itself. The compact can only be dissolved by the consent of the other parties, or by usurpations or abuses of power justly having that effect. It will hardly be contended that there is anything in the terms or nature of the compact, authorizing a party to dissolve it at pleasure."
-- James Madison to Nicholas Trist, 15 Feb 1830

@Passmore246 Sorry, papers not paers
Passmore246 1 week ago
@RonPaulHatesBlacks It is possible that the paers exist but were just push aside and forgotten. It happens all the time, in fact someone just recently found some microscope slides that had been lost for 100 years in cabinet in a museum in Europe. The slides were buried under a pile of boxes. People are still sorting through artifacts that were shelved over 100 years ago
Passmore246 1 week ago
@RonPaulHatesBlacks How do you know there is no evidence of it? Do you have some magic crystal ball that tells you everything, past, present, and future? It is possible that it exists on paper locked in a vault in a museum somewhere and was long forgotten under stacks of boxes
Passmore246 1 week ago
@Passmore246 Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!! The confederacy and "Europeans" had a secret agreement that no one on Earth has ever seen or heard of, but it "exists on paper locked in a vault in a museum somewhere." Hahahahahahahahahahaha!!! Which museum? Which vault? Oh, we don't know---it's "long forgotten under stacks of boxes"!!! The ignorant neo-confederates invent more fake evidence than the truthers and birthers combined!!! Ooh---maybe the lizard people have the fake agreement!!!
RonPaulHatesBlacks 1 week ago
Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!! The confederacy and "Europeans" had a secret agreement that does not exist on paper, has never been seen by anyone, was never reported by anyone, was never discussed by Jefferson Davis or anyone else, and has no evidentiary support of any kind!!!! Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!! Don't the racists ever stop posting the N-word and lying through their teeth?

@RonPaulHatesBlacks Excuseme, my english is horrible but:
Why is necessary a document?
It's absurd. Equally you can say that the confederacy and the europeans are free for the simple fact of being a person and you need a stupid paper for be a man.
But be in paceful: Im not a nerd, I never will think it, I think that everyone is free, and also you're a free person like me, because each have a moral :)
NightmareOnSL 1 week ago
@NightmareOnSL It's necessary because in English we have a word for claims that are completely made up and have zero evidentiary support. They're called "lies."
RonPaulHatesBlacks 1 week ago
@RonPaulHatesBlacks I did read it. In fact I studied it. I have know since I was 13 that it was not in any of the articles or ammendments. If you really know as much as you think you do then point it out to me. Which article was it? Do you even know?
Passmore246 1 week ago
The confederacy was going to abolish slavery anyway---hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!! Don't you neo-confederates EVER stop lying? The Confederate constitution explicitly barred anyone from ever abolishing slavery---forever!!! It became clear that Europe would never recognize the confederacy unless it abolished slavery, and the confederacy REFUSED. Given the choice between abolition and defeat, they chose defeat. They said "We Want No Confederacy Without Slavery."
What a LIAR!!!
RonPaulHatesBlacks 1 week ago

But the Europeans weren't buying it.
raisin212k 1 week ago
@raisin212k and that was at the very end of the war.
raisin212k 1 week ago
@raisin212k What's your source for the confederacy making actual offers to "phase out" slavery?
RonPaulHatesBlacks 1 week ago
@RonPaulHatesBlacks general lee freed his slaves before the war and jackson kept his to school them and then freed them. grant had his taken by force after the war.
gamerfallout 1 week ago
