  • OPERATION SURGERY STROKE KATE MCCAIN 0797580311136412AFFAIR FAME

  • there is not a shortage in numbers.. retention is the problem.. there are many nurses unemployed... there is too many problems facing the profession that it is hard to keep the nurses once they are hired... so adding more quantity of nurses will not fix the problem...

  • this video should be on tosh.o and made fun of big time hahahaha

  • we'll even today *we'll were i live* there are still shortage of nurses or a lack or nurser what ever you want to call...

  • @samanbandana Hey doc, learn how to write properly.

  • lol I love this video, I'm excited to start nursing school :-)

  • I have been a nurse for seven years and this video is great! haha

  • They kinda forgot about the ADN's huh and lets not leave out the LPN's

  • @rcarnes1988 & also not to forget the Diploma RNs...several diploma programs exist today!

  • this video puts me in such a great mood! and so excited to start nursing school!!!

  • I woulda hit all of them in one night.

  • I wont the lil short one in the back lol she would travel with me... lol

  • I LOVE this video!! This was an inspiration for our nursing videos, check them out :D

  • too awesome>

  • Don't care WHAT the message here says, or about the "Nursing Shortage"......this vid is effing hilarious!

  • ahahahh

  • See "nursing nightmares" on youtube and see WHY we need not only more nurses, but BETTER TRAINED NURSES for home health care. California is releasing thousands of developementally disabled and few nurses can handle severely autistic population! California families need GOOD cnas and lvns to help keep their children OUT of institutions.

  • There just seems to be so much controversy over nursing. I also am hearing people who just graduated not being able to find jobs and in the newspaper too....

  • @pookiroo it all depends on which part of the country ur in..in cities like Toledo, OH there are like 20 nursing schools so the market here is saturated with new grads, but the hospitals on the other hand are actually kicking out the older nurses because for the same price of a veteran nurse you can get 2 new grads...oh i cant wait to graduate!!

  • This is awesome! Loved it.

  • you go girlz!

  • I am a CNA and also a nursing student. We were told the first day of class if you don't like cleaning up vomit and feces this isn't the job for you. I see all of these people on here down grading what nurses do but one day you'll be thanking us, when we clean up after you. Another thing we were told is that it's a dirty job but someone has to do it and that is so true! Millions more people would be dying everyday. The Nursing home i worked in everybody wiped butt our D.O.N. even would.

  • I am so proud of these girls. I went to school not to far from theirs and probably went through the same crazy intense curriculum. Go Be A NURSE!

  • Super UNLIKE

  • This is too cute! LOL! Very fun way to get people excited about nursing and helping their fellow man! Love it!

  • so proud to have gone to this nursing school :) <3 Binghamton

  • This was great good job!

  • I just finished high school 6 months ago & have been working in a private care lodge looking after schizophrenics, and people with brain injuries, alcohol dementia, ect. I clean their shit, their piss, do their pissy and shitty laundry. I bandage disgusting infected wounds and scabs. I work 12 shift work. I make $12 per hour with no overtime pay EVER. (In Canada this is not very good pay)

I would definitely go to nursing school to make 3x as much!

  • Also In ireland the RN's wipe as many arses as the NA's (Nursing Assistants) and you know what its not always a particularly nice job but its one that makes a big difference to your patients care and self-esteem. In my eyes a well wiped arse and a happy patient is a good days work!

  • i love nursing videos u learn a lot i cant wait to finish school..

  • Yes, nurses look after people when they're most vulnerable...which includes doing a bit of "dirty work" once in a while but it's about treating people with dignity. Nurses are also studied professionals with a broad and extensive knowledge base. We know about the pathophysiology of disease, about pharmacology of meds and the psycho-social needs of clients. There's really no limits to where this career can take you - open your mind and get informed.

  • BE KIND TO NURSES... We keep doctors from accidentally killing you.

    The Sarcasm Shop

  • You go girls!

  • You go girls! From one experienced RN to a few new ones, it's a great job, keep the reasons why your doing it in front of you, and leave the politics at the back, and you'll never love a job more. The ignorants who say all we do is clean up shit and piss will be kissin your ass when it's their own body fluids you're cleaning up, after you've just successfully coded their sorry ass. Experience sometimes educates these dolts.Gotta laugh though, they are entertaining at best!

  • @boldmares lol kissing whose ass? last time I noticed, it was the nurses kissing the patients ass while getting beat up and yelled at.

  • @midnitedawn

you may thing its a shit job, but honestly it can be the best job in the world if you look at the positive experiences you have and move past the negative ones.

  • nursing is a bullshit job... you clean shit and your treated like shit

  • @midnitedawn I don't know one RN that cleans shit. Maybe some LPNs in nursing homes.

  • @midnitedawn sorry and not even most LPNs in nursing homes clean shit. They just call up CNAs to do that.

  • ok...if people think nurses wipe poop and pee, etc all day, why dont more people do it for 65 dollars hour and take up to at least a 4year program with extensive studying and clinical rotations....

  • Realize that this video was posted 4 years ago.

There's not a shortage of nurses, just a shortage of nurses willing to put up with all the BS and administrative people running the show. It's no longer healthcare- it's "business" with "productivity" quotas (at least in home health)

  • Nursing shortage? Where? I graduated 5 months ago no job. I have a BSN from a major university in a major city. The university I graduated from is highly ranked and was the first to offer a BSN. No sooner than Obama got in office hospitals cut out signing bonuses and cut back on hiring new grads. Obama with all his talk of nationalizing health care has hurt new grads like my self. Now I have to pay back student loans with no job.

  • 1:17

  • go purple fashion!!! you feel to highly of yourself and know you deserve so much better then this, that's why your GONE! Let them keep it and have it!

  • Nursing is a sick and abused profession. The nursing profession has gotten so bad because they allow themselves to take the blame for everything and everyone. Its like a S&M relationship. Many nurses don't feel rewarded unless they break their back(literally) for another. That taking pleasure in pain. I don't see anything rewarding about feeling physically and mentally broken after a shift.

  • told85, how much of a moron are you?? there are a lot of male nurses- in fact, they are higher in demand, and actually get hired before most women do. what do you do for a living?? flip burgers?? i am in my clinicals for nursing, and there are quite the few guys in there, plus i also work in the medical field as a phlebotomist (if you know what that is, congrats, maybe you arent a jackass after all) and i work with many male nurses. so dont be a judgmental ass until you get your facts straight.

  • hell Yess tell em Rnprincess85!!!

  • A man would NEVER tolerate this "career" and its sad that so many women will. Nursing is so sexist. Sexism is not only ingrained in men but also women. So many women in nursing have internalized sexism and they take it out on each other and blame each other. Wow so sad.

  • Apparently you don't have a clue what it means to be a nurse. From my own experience and from national surveys, nursing is considered a highly respected profession by patients and staff. Doctors are working more collaboratively with nurses. Nurses are becoming better and better trained (with a bachelor's considered the minimum acceptable level by many organizations), making them more indispensable.

Oh, and I am a male approaching psychiatric nurse practitioner. Excellent pay, good respect

  • Keep telling yourself that. Nurses don't respect themselves or each other. Patients don't give a damn. Most believe that are getting their money's worth by working you to the ground. Excellent pay? good respect? HA. A nurse practitioner does the job of a doctor but with much LESS pay and respect and there is an oversaturation of NP's so good luck even finding a job. Another one believing the lies....

  • @told85 meh, forget it. Enjoy your trolling :)

  • @told85 Jealousy is a bitch aint it!! Lol I wonder what your doing?

  • @patralatifa jealous of what? wiping asses and taking a doctors orders? nah.... its more like I'm disgusted. Only someone with no self esteem would do a dirty job like nursing.

  • @told85 You realize travel nurses can easily make 40k in 3-4 months? That's with housing already being covered. Oh and that doesn't include wiping ass. They leave that for CNAs.

  • @spiralfunhappytime23 HAHA. they do wipe ass, they clean nasty ass infected wounds and suction trachs. what kind of nasty shit is that? thats so degrading. No wonder so many age so fast, are fat and worn out.

  • @told85 wound care does not = ass wiping. ill just let you go back to flipping burgers kid.

  • @spiralfunhappytime23 nasty nasty humiliating work. and trust me, fast food workers would NEVER do the work nurses do. fast food workers definitely put their noses up to it. LOL .

  • @told85 you realize how many different types of nurses there are? How much they make? Have fun with your 14k a year

  • @spiralfunhappytime23 thank you. society needs someone to do all the nasty work no one wants to do :) !

  • @told85 you are such a moron.. god forbid you gonna be in in my hands sometime

  • @spiralfunhappytime23 Hey mate, thank god ur in such great health because god forbid someday for some reason you become completely dependent on someone. Believe me your gonna be glad of a good ass-wiper some day!

Maybe you should get a real job mate, or if that's beyond you, how about just growing up! Idiot!

  • @ExplorerBrock dude stfu and read what i said again. i was mocking the dude flipping burgers calling nurses ass wipers, etc

  • @spiralfunhappytime23 My bad!!

  • @told85 Explain why half the people going for nursing in my school are male?

I'm not saying nursing is a glamorous job, or that there is a lot of promise in it. I'm doing it because I have no where else to go. And when you're sick I'm sure you wont look at that nurse taking care of you and say " Wow so sad" , unless you want to heal yourself.

It's like people who talk crap about police officers, but when something bad happens they are sure glad to see a cop there.

  • I went to go back to Nursing school. But i have no fucking money. Fuck money

  • We know the haardships & blah blah. For what it's worth, students that are just in it for the $ would soon find out their 1st semester lolol!!! So As long as you do what you need to in your profession is what matters.A SENSE OF HUMOR IS REALLY GOOD FOR THE SOUL. *~ KISSES~*

  • If a future doctor or lawyer etc were to make this video, would we frown on them? NO! Yes we are professionals @ what we do & we take it VERY serious for the sake of our patients of course but DAMN this is not something to get grey hairs about. It's really NOT that serious.

  • With ANY career comes little stresses that sometimes we have to just laugh at to overcome it. This is simply having a good time with the career. What's wrong w/ that?? people have their own way of dealing with their careers.

  • @feministradical,lekesha00, & everybody else frowning to the EXTREME on this video: LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL. One thing we need to learn is not to take ourselves TOO serious. i mean really im pretty positive that on the floor they are are not "hip hop" nurses whatever that means.

  • Well, I know here in the SF CA, the nursing shortage is not as short as one might think. NO JOBS for new grads. Yet, many new grads are still being hired outside the city. It is true most of us are here for the money, but why would anyone work as hard as we do and not expect top pay. I devoted my whole life to this career. Is it easy, NO!!! is it worth it? YES! to all ? NO! Great job ladies, and yes many of us are here because we care about others if not we all be bankers

  • F*** what some have said, U girls did a good job, the video was funny as it intended to be. Some mentioned this was a "disgrace"...get a life and a sense of humor

  • Awesome video ladies! I just graduated last year and I think its a amazing profession. All these haters are just jealous about your passion! Keep it up!

  • you dumb asses think nursing is all about making money? i would not want you taking care of me thats for sure. thank you all for showing your true intentions.

  • @isdakongsupot : The girls weren't saying that nursing is ALL about the money. A lot of people who want to become nurses are put off by the myth that nursing pays really poorly, which just isn't true. Sure, nurses deserve better pay and recognition for what we do but this video points out some of the highlights of the job, one of them being decent pay.

  • nurses will never get "better pay" because you still tolerate the environment and break other nurses down. And you know it will never happen. So don't say they deserve better pay when you won't do anything to get it and you allow yourself to foster this environment . I notice those who allow the bad treatment and speak against it, are put down. So how will anything ever change?

  • So, instead of simply attacking my ideas - why don't you express a few of your own thoughts on the subject at hand or at least provide a decent counter-argument to what has been said. I'd say that nurses DO deserve better pay because their role is expanding into areas once only the domain of doctors. But to really combat the high attrition rate of nurses and the nursing shortage we, as nurses, need to take more responsabibity for our envirinments and resist the urge to always feel like victims.

  • soo true!!! you hit the nail on the head!

  • this nursing job sucks and when you graduate you will find out what i mean.

  • @isdakongsupot : It sucks even more when you're on shift with miserable, whinging colleagues who hate what they're doing.

  • Once again you are blaming the person. For example, what you are doing is what a lot of people do to rape victims. When that person speaks out and is upset with the aftermath that the rape caused...you are still blaming them because its "their" fault. Its like saying to the rape victim "you need to get over it" because "you can't stop dealing with the emotional trauma from it" and your attitude is bringing everyone down. Thats what you are saying psi82. Its so sad because you can't even see it

  • told85, I have no idea how you managed to twist what I said into something about vicims of sexual assault, the two are "chalk & cheese". Nor have you provided any practical advice to combat what you percieve to be "victim bashing" on my part.. . . Nurses aren't (as a goup) victims, they're active members of the healthcare community who, as individuals, can choose whether the contribution they make to that community is a +ve one, or a -ve one.

  • We all need nurses and good one. But please do research before you invest your time and money. For the last couple years nursing has been the biggest hype. It's the almighty dollars that attract the people. Why all the sudden men starting to go into this field, when it was just something women would do for century. It's make no sense. And what even funny is that all the sudden you see people saying that "I just love to care for people and make a different" give me a break.

  • 1st- Nursing is not anywhere near being fun, it's miserable. I have seen people who get so old and in horrible shape after couple of years.

2nd-There is no shortage in nursing, do you know how many inactive RN out there?. They quit and find something else better to do.

3rd-It's a shitty job. You just have to deal with so many people around you and so many responsibilities.

4th-You are always in danger of being sue or get your license taken.

5th- you have to be a masochist to do this job.

  • You are what I like to call, grumpy jealous and purely too serious individuals who waste their time posting not one but 3-10 separate posts to explain your hatred. One message suffices thank you...you got your point across...you dont like our video. Are you in middle school? No.

By the way, it seems the bad nurse is not I or my fellow classmates, but you. Any good nurse would throw out constructive criticism or full support. Grow a sense of humor, or watch another video. Thanks!

  • Thank you for calling us cutie pies. As for the negative comments...that's expected when you don't know the reasoning as to why this video was created in the first place. We created this video, not to show the wrong perception of nursing no...because I'm a damn good nurse even though others make think otherwise because of our entertaining video. We created this video for a school project, aimed to attract middle school kids (fyi-sexy back and youtube were both popular at the time).

  • @michelebronson The video is fantastic and doesn't send the wrong message about nursing at all.

A bit of advise... If you're at work one day and find yourself thinking and talking like some of the very negative people on here, it's time to find a different ward or specialty to work in. 'Compassion fatigue' and 'burnout' is rife in the profession and it creeps up on you slowly. Finally, when you're working with people like that remember that they were once as enthusiastic as you are today.

  • Nursing does suck. I think the people getting upset feel stuck in it. I can't see how anyone could love that type of work. Nurses do doctors work and everyone elses work for 1/3 of the pay. Plus they get blamed for everything. Even people with low self esteem wouldn't allow themselves to be treated that way. Women should demand more-but in nursing they don't.

  • told85 is an evil human being who doesn't believe people can stand helping others and self-sacrifice.

  • I'm not evil. I'm real. thank for your self-sacrifice, we need people like you :) Work yourself to the ground for me :)

  • this video is really cool!

    and for the bad comments:

some people are willing to go through what they do to help people every single day, nurses are the first line in medicine, and that is why so many love what they do.

  • Haha, this is funny!

  • I think this is pretty good and funny...and as for those who have negative comments about being a nurse: it sucks working with you, and you know it, your coworkers know it, and the patients know it. How sad is that?

  • there is no "money" in nursing

  • nursing isn't a real "profession". you will be used and abused both physically and mentally. If that is for you then go for it. There is a "nursing shortage" because hospitals don't hire enough nurses. They wants to hire less and work them to the ground.

  • That is such BS, I've been in nursing for 14 years. I love what I do and I am paid well. Nursing is NOT for the lazy or the insensitive. And if you think it's not a profession, well, next time you're in the hospital we'll just let someone off the street come take care of you.

  • sucks that you been in it for that long. Makes me question what kind of person you are. What nurses deal with on a daily basis is ridiculous and to say you love it, makes me question who you are. NO nurse is paid well for what they do. You give 100x more then what you get back.

No worth it. Those considering a nursing degree LEAVE now and do something else.

  • Hey, Its pretty obvious your not a nurse, if you are then you are just one of those people who hate life and no job besides being a stripper will make you happy.... Its also obvious that you were not an english major or have ever taken an english course. "no worth it" and "they wants to hire less" kind of makes me take you a lot less seriously. And even though your shooting your mouth off about what people are like we ALL know what kind of person you are... a nodbody

  • Its called typo's. Obviously when people start to talking about anothers grammar its an attempt to take away from the real subject because you have nothing else. to say. I'm a happy person. You are not. I hope you continue nursing, like I said to another poster we need people like you who work themselves to the ground for others :) Make my stay at the hospital that much better :)

  • whats a nodbody?

    LOL

Its funny how someone who talks about anothers grammar and english can't even spell "NOBODY".

Makes me not take you seriously. You are pathetic.

  • First you say "Obviously when people start to talking about anothers grammar its an attempt to take away from the real subject because you have nothing else to say" then 2 seconds later you talk about my grammar, need I say more you ignorant hypocrite? You proved my point. Your just not very smart (not surprising) but don't worry the world needs people like you to take up "professions" like "ditch-diggers". Heres a tip for your next interview, practice saying "would you like that super sized"...

  • Thank you for wearing yourself out for me and my family in the hospital :) Someone has to do the slave job. Keep on going, I love laughing at your silly " second grade "comebacks". This is entertaining ! HAHA

  • Yeah thats pretty much what I figured you would say... Nothing related to what were actually arguing about. This is just a guess but Im gonna say your 23/24 years old based on your screen name. I also am gonna say that you probably dont have a degree above a high school diploma. English is NOT your primary language, and you probably work for your parents taking over their job flipping burgers at some fast food joint... lol dont wear out your arms flipping that meat bitch!

  • First I'm not a nurse I just support what they do so you sound like a moron there... Second you gotta stay positive buddy, "would you like that super-sized", over and over. You'll get there don't worry. Im done with you.

  • you still never told me what a "nodbody" is.... LOL.

  • I agree with you that nurses are abused but it is a real profession. We nurses, especially in the ER are expected to know enough about medicine to have things ready for the MD's including already running proper bloodwork and give some meds. We catch things MD's aren't around to see and help those new docs figure things out. I am proud to be a nurse and do it to help people whether I am appreciated or not, I know I make a difference in people being alive.

  • i hate you

  • Could've done without the rectal temp! LOL

  • I thought this had an eerie quality to it. I'm not sure I'd want them to be my nurses.

Shouldn't have had the same music over the credits.

  • Right, stalepie13 - no one would want these people to be their nurses.

  • FUNNY! My mom is in the nursing program and loved the video

  • brilliant

  • Brilliant!

  • THE CHICK ON 2:35 IS HOT

  • hahah you girls better get free tuition for makin that lol! good job!

  • 60 grand? that depends on where and how long!

  • I love it . I am a nursing student right now and love the wat that you incorporated that men in nursing was a myth. We have several men in our class.

  • hi there.. i want to become a nurse in USA i am from india and can u tell me what r the requirments to take admission in nursing course..i am on H4 visa..plz let me know

  • It varies from schoool to school, but expect most to require at least 2 semesters of anatomy and physiology, a semester of microbiology, one or two semesters of English, and one or two semesters of algebra. These are minimums. There are likely other requirements that vary from school to school, but most are going to require these classes.

  • Sarabable, u have to make out with american men on demand, thats a pre requirement

  • This is great! it would be even better if a few boys are brought in the vedio.

  • Very clever girls...great stuff to promote nursing;)

  • CUTE! Been an RN for 15 years now.. this is GREAT! LOVED IT! Wished we would have come up with this type of thing when I was in school! FUN Times! From Wendy, Critical Care RN

  • Any tips for aspiring nurses?

  • YUP... ALWAYS keep a sense of humor / Don't fall into "high school" type mentality on the floor with the other staff & coworkers (hate/jealousy/mean gossip/ etc) / Remember that nice doctor during the day, is always mad when you wake him/her up for a sleeping pill at 1 am in the morning (forgive them, they should have thought to order that for their patient if they didn't want THAT call! hehe) / and did I say "keep a sense of humor"??!! That is the key. Your patients appreciate some sunshine.

  • wow i loveddddd dis. great job chickazzz! hope your all nurses now!

  • thank god im gona be a nurse

  • just great!

  • And I do like this viid. Great job!

  • At 4:16 is she saying "better than medical school"? I just can't make It out.

  • From an opportunity cost standpoint, it sure is. If you want to make a living, go for nursing, not medicine. Trust me, I'm a doctor. (Really.)

  • ????

  • this is so funny, love it!

  • WONDERFUL!! I remember watching this video during my first semester of nursing in 2006. This video brought lots of laughs from fellow nursing students, family, friends, and nursing instructors alike who thought it was a wonderful promotional video! So to the haters, if you get bent out of shape about a video, I'd hate to see you on the floor.... I've been in LTC since my graduation in May 2008, and I absolutely love what I do! Kudos to the creativeness of the students behind this video!! :)

  • This is GREAT I have 2 semesters till I get my BSN and was really not looking forward to goin back in the fall and this video cracks me up... Im gonna watch it again the morning before I go back to class!!!!

  • so funny... =)

  • Cute and funny!

  • Great job with this video. I like the creative. I am going to share this with my classmates.

  • this is so cute!!

  • I think that this is so cute.. Just having a little fun.. I just go accepted into nursing school.. Im so excited!!

  • This was obviously made by a bunch of first semester nursing students. Nursing is a little more than giving bed baths and checking skin turgor. And money is hardly a reason to go in to the profession. Now a days all i hear is " oh go into nursing, it pays so well", and this video perpetuates this.

  • such a pessimist. Good job on the vid guys.

  • I am currently applyin to nursing school. I think this vid is so cute. Without nurses there will be no hospital patient care. Ignorant people who are being neg about this video - let me see you get sick and go to a hospital without nurses!!!

  • The people being "negative" about it are reacting to the poor image projected about nurses. Nurses are professionals who save lives, not cutie pies who go around having fun and ordering patients around. It isn't really funny when one considers that we've worked so hard to correct this very image.

  • this video is cute. i am glad they made it because there is a nursing shortage. they are right about the money and there is job security. i am a nurse with a bsn currently enrolled in a msn/mha program... get ur nursing on!!!!

  • LMAO! GREAT video!

  • LOL

    super awesome!

  • You need to get out and about a bit more matey cos there are plenty of men in nursing. Sure we're outnumbered by women about 10:1 but that's hardly a downside to the job, is it?

As far as women being 'naturally better carers'... That's absolute bull! Maybe you are just projecting your own inadequacies onto all male nurses.

WT- EEN nursing for 9.5yrs, 3rd yr BN student.

  • Women have been in the nursing field for longer; that's why there are more female nurses and why they're perceived to be better at it. However, given adequate time (probably about 30 years), both gaps will no doubt narrow considerably.

  • This is an often quoted and incorrect fact. Males have actually been nursing for centuries. Think Knights Hospitallers and monasticm orders, the roman nosocomi. Even the bible shows males as nurses in the story of the good samaritan. The idea of nursing as a female dominated profession has only come about in the last few centuries.

  • I hope that each and every one of you, whether you're a random viewer, nursing student or nursing staff, will step away from the criticism and negativity. If you can't smile when someone says "code brown" then perhaps this isn't the right profession for you. Nursing is not all stress, and work. We're innovators, creative in our ways. Well, I hope you enjoyed the video and good luck to all of you!

  • This video was discussed in a grad school class - and it was not just the instructor who expressed dismay about this thing trying to take nursing back to the bad old days when nurses were not considered professionals.

  • On another note, I think we did a fine job producing a recruiting video for our nursing class. At the time of our production, Justin Timberlake's song "Nursing Back" was a top hit, and the use of youtube was vastly increasing within all age groups. We weren't depicting nursing from a hospital environment. We made a music-video aimed to catch the interest of school aged children and hopefully entice them to learn about the nursing career the same way commercials catch the interest of viewers

  • Its so easy for someone to become a critic. NYSNA was not only interested in our recruiting video aimed towards school aged children, but did a formal interview/review. You can check it out by googling NYSNA and "we're bringing nursing back". I would've added the URL but YouTube won't let me. Im sorry if anyone was offended by our video. That was NOT our intention. We have full respect and passion for the nursing career.

  • This video illustrates exactly why there is a nursing shortage... All I hear is money money and money.

  • Part of the reason for a nursing shortage is a percieved lack of money. The video just tries to dispel a myth.

Another myth is that nursing is a 'calling' and not a career like any other. Your comment implies that nurses should not be concerned with recieving adequate pay for what they do.

  • Perceived? Perhaps, by those in the profession.....especially when they "perceive" their paychecks!

  • And nurses actually don't make much - so I don't know why the pay would even be an emphasis. Nor is nursing a "calling". It's a poorly paid profession, but a pfoession it is, despite the message these girls promote.

  • I do hope you go on to get your advance degrees and become professors of nursing... we need teachers to bring that enthusiasm to the classroom.

  • I actually graduated from this nursing program. The girls had to put this video together for a class project and i must say they did a phenomenal job. As a nurse myself, it is a thankless job, so if the compensation from it makes it worth your while why not. There is currently a nursing shortage because there is a misconception that all you do as a nurse is empty bedpans and give bed baths. These girls made a video to show that Nursing is more than that.... way to go girls.

  • Comment removed

  • It's actually kind of cute if you look at it from the perspective of a nursing student. It's pretty obvious that a group of first semester students made this video. It's adorable.

  • those girls are NOT nurses! Look at em...god they dont need viagra in the hospital they gonna be workin in!

    ;)

  • Its funny how all the good comments are coming from the ACTUAL nurses and the bad ones are coming from people who arent even in the profession. Keep up the good work girls, it was very entertaining.

  • ROFL! i love it. You show that nursing is serious but you can have fun too. People bashing this need to get a life. Or become a lawyer or something else dull.

  • Awesome! I'm a nurse in Greece too!
