  • good eye for a yank

  • thats a big one...im from madison n i will be there fishing this coming spring.....what lake is it....do i need a boat...can i rent one....let me know thanks!

  • wow. That fish was really calm compared to the walleyes I usually catch.

  • 1:32 "We gonna let this fish go, maybe you'll catch it. Thanks...aright where's the bucket?"

  • @stevevang03 Alright let's get the fuck out of here.

  • @01theredone LMAO!

  • woah NICE fish

  • That fish went into the net as if it had done a sleeping pill or two that afternoon. It would have been just as exciting to watch him get a snag and snap his line. I've had 8 ounce brook trout put up way better fights than that.

  • was that a medium light rod you were using?

  • The fish never moved when you got it in the boat.

  • i like how the comments on every fishing video are people who think they're gods gift to fishing.... well fuck all you bitches because i caught a 13 foot perch yesterday on nothing but a hook. that's right, I'm so good i don't even need lures

  • @Tcm0240 thats nothing, i caught a 14 foot perch last week reeling in an old boot off the bottom... i threw it back and it was so gratefull it granted me 3 wishes. now i have a laptop, an internet connection, and a sense of humour. thanks mr. perch!

  • how big is that?

  • wheres the walleye chop?

  • walleye like the jigging action, but you can do it with spinners, buzzbaits, hardbaits, anything really lol

  • @cb7pwn well wall eye will usually bite lures that look like fish the most. i was fishing a creek that runs into the susquehanna fish go in it after the winter ice melts. i used spinners and only caught some bass. i bought some rubber minnows with a twister tail and i had wall eye bass pike bluegill rock bass an occasional musky. im just sayin when im fishin a creek or a pool in the river i use a small rubber minnow because fish are sitting there to eat and rest. rubber minnow = food.

  • hey what reel are you using? is it the pfluger president?

  • Nice and calm water gotta love it for fishing!

  • Try catching and landing a 53 and a half inch Muskie

  • I know it's not a walleye, but I almost caught a pike the size of my arm. My arm is 'bout a foot and a half

  • @miatuneaphish if we're talking about the fish from the video, it WAS a walleye.

  • its not that big try realing in a 34 inch i caught that puppy a couple years ago, big mouth and quills nice fish. were i go u dont need to wake up aerly u go whenever and u get masive fish.

  • Gotta love those windless days

  • thats very small

  • @jrroper1996 you're just jealous... thats a beautiful and good sized walleye

  • @the45operator i am not jealous a can go catch a 30 +++ inch walleye a couple miles away were i live

  • @jrroper1996 nobody gives a shit on what u can do so just watch the damn video and shut up

  • Great quality video. I was excited right there with you when you were reeling it in. I most respect your sportsmanship.

  • what test pound line are you using

  • very very very nice walleye - nice to see you put it back

  • @trustthecat... an idiot? so what makes me an idiot? revealing the truth about fishing there... you must be an hypocrite then... btw... I stand firm to what I said... There is no glory fishing in DePere/Fox River... then again it's only YouTube... It's pointless to argue... take your fishing gears and lets then let us settle if your point stands...

  • you make it sound like fishing there is fun... Fox river is contaminated with PCB from paper mills. fishing in DePere is no challenge.. even kids can catch fishes... not only that... who wants to fish there? it stinks, and water is filthy dirty...

  • @Hlub1vuagdua

so you're saying catching fish is not fun? by the way its no secret about the river being contaminated, everyone already knows that. and why fish it? well because it offers quality walleye fishing, and potential world record muskies are swimming in the bay area

  • @Hlub1vuagdua - Fishes . . . lol. Your an idiot. Think before you speak.

  • @Hlub1vuagdua your mom is filthy dirty

  • @zzztubazzz thats clearly a walleye, white boy,if u dont no anything then dont post it on youtube.

  • Great video! Check out bestofwhitetail.webs.com for walleye, crappie, perch and trout videos and for hunting and fishing tips!

  • what kind of rod? med. lite? or med.?

  • 1:05

Your net cut the fishes tail in half!

You might want to get a different net or use another alternative if you intend to be catch and releasing.

  • @MakeSteelBattalion2 wasn't the net that cut it, most likely it was already cut. try again

  • fuck yes! nice walleye

  • I love wisconsin ive even cougth a walley myself while i was there

  • a fu$king pig... estimated at how many pounds..... its good to not eat fish!!!!"! SPIT" i barley eat any fish (from the grocerey

  • i dont eat anything over 3 pounds

  • There are supposed to be walleyes in the Susquehana and Delaware rivers not far from where I live. I'm often asking myself how I could catch one. I've heard that they were good eating (if I keep one, it probably wouldn't be as big as this guy caught, or I'd just put it back to let it breed more 'eyes).

  • @YusakuJon3 There are walleyes in the susquehana. i live in lancaster pa and catch them all the time at safe harbor and holtwood.

  • @Bl4ck4ndY3llovv Any tips on how a landlubber like myself can catch some? I used to have access to a boat, but not one you could put into the river at that point, and I can only take up a spot along some of the riverbanks where access is permitted. I'm thinking that with the Susquehana currents running like they are, some extra weight will be needed to keep lures and bait down where the fish are likely to hold out.

  • everytime I catch a walleye there always wiggling and kicking around its hard to hold them still. that fish just sat there and took it. nice fish by the way

  • @FOSICKLIKEWHA1 For the most part fish tend to be calmer when it’s cold out... I know walleye are cold fish but they still act calmer in the winter. Fish don’t spend lots of energy when it’s cold out because food is scares I see this a lot with trout to, and more so with warm water fish like bass. All the best Rudy.

  • the best way to catch walleye is anywhere from 10 ft of water to about 28 ft of water and we use lindy rigs with leaches, i live in the walleye capital of canada and this is how we catch them here, works everytime, huge fish andwhere from 10 pounds to 18 pounds

  • whats the best way to catch walleye?deep water?

  • very nice eye. Been there too a lot of huge fish up there in the right time of yr

  • 0:9 Just keep clicking this. It's funny. Oh and nice fish!

  • What a beauty!!!

  • WHAT A FREAKIN' MONSTER!!! Man, what a beautiful fish.

  • great video wisconsin fishing is the best bar none

  • @360G1lover never been do some very heavy kaskaskia in illinois massive walleye in my campground.. lol

  • Nice walleye!

  • good call WAY to big for eating.

  • nice to see you let this big 1 go.

  • Beutiful fish, down hear in connecticut we wish we catch walleyes like that, but that jig works great for pickeral. i love it.

  • big walleye! great video

  • that thing was a pig.......

  • looked like the fish was dead, when I catch walleye they usually fight hard next to the boat then flip & flop all over the place once they are landed. Is that because it was that big size? Looked like you just pulled in a log.

    Happy fishing, rsg

  • @mysg4ever it sure looked dead. thing didnt move a muscle

  • @hairymanjoe I think it's beacause it's cold water and you can see that it isn't dead because the fins or what you call it on english are standing up.

  • @mysg4ever typically, as long as you are holding on to them, Walleye are pretty calm, much more so than say Trout or Pike

  • AWSOME VIDEO!!!! i just caught my first two walleye the other day, and it was a blast! just woundering, is it rare to catch walleye on top water? because that is how i caught them. any ways, thanks for posting this, because this video helped me understand a little better how these fish are caught. that was a beautiful fish!

  • @bassmaster376 Actually,i've caught alotta walleyes on topwaters, and other baits that dive to only like,a foot or so.But i've never heard of ppl intentionally using them for walleye.Great Video!Awesome Walleye, and BTW,i want your boat.lol.

  • props dude amazing...didnt look like it fuaght that much
