GDHSCOOT no doubt you were born with a drivers licence in your hand and so much confidence you were flirting with the nurse's. The kid may be old enough ,but at times when presented with new things kids get so excited they hit the wrong pedal and stuff,better to drag dad to the ground and stall it rather than a 5o-60mph crash,yes they that speed,into the fence,or worse slam into the side of one of the car's . Give the kid a break.Done it once with my 9 year old and about to do again with my 6yo.
