Its called a scoop plug, its just a foam plug you put in when not in use, the quick burnout i did on the street didn't necessitate removing it :) not much ram-air effect at 30mph or so ;))

I just don't understand why you think that. for decades red tail light turn signals have been safe and fine. new trucks still come that way. they don't have to be amber in the rear. its still safe. red or amber all safety is based on actually using the turn signals correctly

This is my 88 chevy s-10 with a 383 smallblock. tubbed with 31's and alston backhalf.
Best pass: 9.94 @ 132.99 mph in the quarter on a 275 shot of nitrous with slicks thru the mufflers.
11.44 on the motor leaving with the transbrake.
Hope to get some actual drag strip footage from my old racing tapes up here soon!
