i wish they did a serious recording of this, or atleast played it live more. yes we have two recordings of this, but they're basically jams with scratch vocals. i wish we had a real, focused studio version with complete lyrics. oh well...

that's very hopeful! it'd be great if there were studio/demo versions of this, talk to me, opinion, do re mi, and other songs we have no clue about. ideal situation: courtneys new album flops, (with the bean turning 18 she can't hoard her money) get desperate, and sells them... or someone can "steal" them! honestly i'd be content if they released 7/23/93, 10/31/91, 11/25/90, 1/23/93 (along with sao paulo), reading festival 91, and 4/17/9! btw that's really cool about kurt on bass/krist on guitar

that's not nirvana!!! i have a bootleg of the original nirvana concert from manchester in december 1991...nirvana never played this song live! nirvana recorded this song in a studio in amsterdam on november 25, 1991...

Your bootleg must be incomplete. This was definitely played that night. Check LiveNirvana. And yeah it was recorded in Amsterdam too, I also have a video for that version.

I think this song might have fell victim to the bathtub incident where several of Kurt's notebooks and tapes with songs he was developing for In Utero were destroyed along with Kurt's favorite guitar.

To clarify, the bathtub incident occurred after Kurt had stored the notebooks, tapes, and a guitar in his bathtub while on tour (I think) and the place had bad plumbing so the sewage backed up and destroyed everything. And thats a big part of the reason why In Utero is made up of mostly older material that was written prior to the release of Nevermind.
