Dude, I have never even owned Dead or Alive 4, and I know how to do the "trick" at 1:57. The "trick" is only a reversal. YOu can reverse any kicks or punches, except for throwing techniques. Dead or Alive is one of the only games I have seen with reversals. If you didn't know this, then I bet you don't know how to teleport with Kasumi, either.

Button mashing is the cheapest strategy and is considered "noobish". Anyone, be it a noob/monkey/6y.o can button mash, but the people playing here actually know what they're doing and aren't mindlessly pressing buttons. So consider this before you comment.

and yea tekken u can mash and win but you can see the diffrence in tekken DOA its hard to tell whos a masher and whos a skiled player...

tekken is not slow you idiot...the animation demonstrate the real movement of a particular art dicipline(like boxing,muay thai,shotokan karate,kempo)...the attack speed is has different movement (fast to slow,slow to fast)...fuckin DOA with the same pattern of movement(fast attack all the time) which does not follow the real dicipline of art...why you did not like tekken because you have no patience... it is step by step mastering (not only the combo)

There are many people that still play Street Fighter. Hell there are still Street Fighter 2 and 3 tournaments. Compared to games like DOA Street Fighter poops on games like these.

Sure DOA4 has it's fun moments but it's still what it is. A clunky average 3-D fighter.

In terms of technicality, DOA4 > DOA2 (primarily due to how countering was changed; DOA2's countering was far easier than in DOA4). Even w/ that, Tekken still doesn't even come close.

Really, you think EWGF spam fests (combos should be second nature, FYI -- the only hard part is connecting your first hit) is more technical? Get real.

BTW, my response is taking Tekken 5 BR into consideration (yes, we do have T6 machines in LA, but the majority have yet to even play it). But still, Tekken 6's combos is the samething -- land your first hit, and you got your combo! (if you can't follow up, you're a scrub. simple as that)
