Also I find that car washes in developing world use labor instead of machinery to wash. As new vehicles now have very soft water based paint, improper 'scrubbing' of the paint results in micro scratches that leaves a surface that is easier for soils to adhere to. The starts the process of breaking down the paint and eventually leaves a dull finish.
Well...it is somewhat cheaper. However being a car wash owner NOB, I have these comments. 1st, you should not apply high pressure water first as it dilutes the soap applied after. Washing is chemistry and what your vehicle requires is a strong alkaline presoak, followed by a dwell time to give the soap chance to work its way through the grime...then follow with a high pressure rinse to blast away the lifted grime.
