Lessoned learned. Whatever Toys my kids will be into today I will buy at least 2 of. One set they can play with and the other to store away mint in box until they are old enough to appreciate what they had.
wow i really dont have nothing to remember i still own all my 80s gi joes soon enough i will be posting pictures on FACEBOOK so everyone can see and drool over the fact i still have my uss flagg,terrordrome,gi joe defiant space shuttle,gi joe headquarters dated (C)1983 your goddamn right im special because i had parents that wouldnt throw my stuff away i kept all my boxes and carded figures and loose figures it was my decision to take care of my stuff
@snakeyes1985 FUCK YEAH BRO!!! sounds like an awesome collection unfortunately my parents gave all my joes to poor kids down the street but i started collecting the 25th anniversary and now i'm into doing custom joes
@Aku51 i work with the 25th anni. figures i diassemble them swap parts and custom paint them i just finished the "red shadows" set i've been working on if you do'nt know the red shadows are the enimies of action forse (british version of gi joe) if you wanna check out some custom joes you can google custom gi joes and there's a couple of really good sites i'll be posting my sets soon to a couple of them keep in touch and i'll let you know when

I got that set for Christmas I was about 8 or 9 and was so psyched! I invited the nieghbor boy over to play and we were playing in my room and I heard snap...snap...snap!!!! :o The little f*cker was under my bed pulling them apart!!! :( I only salveged a couple and my dad later whupped my @ss for letting him break them.Had I known what I was sitting on I would have NEVER opend them up! :(
@harveydents So he's Black Irish? Thats a terrible combination cuz that means he's to drunk to steal. Anyways, I thought Storm Shadow was his brother?Wouldn't that make him Japanese?
@rush1er Stalker, snake and storm were all in Nam together, Storm-shadow is his "brother" in the sense that they were trained by the same Hardmaster when they trained as ninja...but storm shadow killed the hardmaster...

God, I remember the "straight-arm" G.I. Joe action figures vividly. I found it amusing to this day that the Cobra Trooper figures were simply named "Cobra" or "Cobra - The Enemy"
storm Shadow never killed the hard master, it was Zartan who killed him, on orders from Firefly, who was paid off by Cobra Commander....
Firefly is the "faceless master"
