  • the two dislikes are clearly from the BT ceo and his only friend....

  • I spent 23 years working for that shower. Well, all was reasonable well until the day the first new-style socket was fitted and it all went downhill from there. Of course we were all fed the slabs of crap about 'have a say in your business and become a shareholder' Ha! All the stuff that was said against the 'pirate-isation' (sic) particularly by the Unions I have to say, has come true - and worse. Thatcher, may you rot in hell!!

  • They tried to charge me for line connection of £150. When the line was up and running already. I phoned the ofcom and they made sure that I pay no money and get my line connected. Thank you to lady who helped me at ofcom. And please remember to be polite to worker at BT it is not their fault they are only doing what they have been told. I have no connection with BT what so ever. I often got so angry towards the staff. Only to find out it was not their fault.

  • bt are a joke my bt broadband has been drpoing out all the time im on a 20mbps connetion and only get 2mbps what a joke stay away from the rip off bt

  • I called BT Customer service today and the person from BT wasn't helping me at all. I decided to ask where the call was being made to and she told me: "From the Philippines . Why? Do you have a problem with that?" With such a stupid answer, I asked to speak to the Manager. I was told the Manager was not there... then the Manager was in a meeting... Once Upon a Time, BT Was a British Pride... So disappointed! I am disconnecting from BT as for immediate effect.

  • All companies are the same. Greed, corruption and lies, that's all it boils down to no matter what or who you join up with. If you want proof just look at the 'noble' members of parliament.

  • Well done. This should never have been necassary if BT took ownership of the issue in the first place.

I am currently going through a difficult situation with BT, they are not providing me with a constant working business internet service. No one will take ownership of the problem and find out where the fault is on the line. I am currently making a short video for youtube at the moment, as I am a film producer it should be interesting to see how many viewings we get when it goes live.

  • Loathsome company.

  • Never again. I know exactly what you mean. They are just unpleasant, greedy bully's of the very worst kind.

  • BT was privatised years ago! if you watch the vid the man says "shareholders like me"!

BT is NOT a state run operation

when it was a state run company it worked and you could always talk to an english speaking person somewhere in the UK. now your lucky if the person on the end of the line is capable of understanding you, or you them

  • Im fed up with these robot not only are they irritating but they are bad for business.

  • Top Man! I have had a problem with BT not giving me what they owe me, i am not going to, nor have i wasted my time telephoning incoherent phone monkeys, i have emailed them, lodged complaint after complaint, written to the customer services Director, twice, only once was recorded delivery. I have evidence of all. Now i want to kick up a fuss! Any contacts in the media now who you think might want to drag BT's already tarnished customer services through the mud futher?

  • I can feel the pain in the ass, FUCK the BT, it's a shame of Britain Culture. Why no people or any group can give them lessons!!!

  • First they took 33 pounds out of my account n then 110 after 10 days of the first payment. Then I thought maybe 110 pounds are the charges that everybody pays for the first time. Then after 2 months they again took 110 pounds out of my bank account with 33 monthly. So far ive paid them 286 pounds in just 3 months. and when i try calling them they give no valid reason for this. WOT SHOULD I DO?? PLZ REPLY ME

  • Hi

I suggest you watch my second video BT Dont waste your time 2 and write to the Senior people in BT.

    Good Luck

    Patrick

  • Hi Patrick I have a problem with bt which is annoying me a lot.I signed up for a new bt phone line and broadband paying through direct debit 3 months ago.The total amount im meant to pay is 33 pounds every month including phone line and broadband charges.

  • bt bastards!!!

  • GOOD ON YOU!!!!!!

as a new BT customer i had nothing but shit from them since day 1!!!! I totaly understand what you are saying with regards to trying to get through to any one it took me about 2 months to get mine sorted out only cause i refused 2 pay any thing till it was sorted.

BT managedment are a bunch of over paid idiot's....

Fair play to ya mate you stand your ground!!!!!

    Good luck with it..

  • I have a similar problem - I paid and am trying to get a refund or replacement for a faulty product. I have written three times - twice by email and once by recorded delivery; I have phoned twice but the queue is always over an hour. BT have NOT EVEN ACKNOWLEDGED my problem. What they are doing is clearly illegal - but what can I do?

  • Mr Trench Thank you for your comments. I wish I could offer you some better advice on what to do other than keep on trying and keep a note of all correspondence, I am still waiting on BTs offer of compensation for what they put me through. We all need to keep the pressure up on these organisations. I think our local MPs could prove useful in this fight. The regulatory bodies such as Oftel appear to be unable to control them.

    Good Luck Patrick

  • This is what happens when you sell off public property! Make a stand against this Evil corporate whore !

  • Wooh patt!!! Power to the people! Im gonna get my parents to boycott BT until this stops!

    -Fred-

  • i was with BT broadband three yrs ago, kept getting cut off, told ofcom, they got in touch with BT, and of course then, they got in touch with me, after ofcom where involved, never got cut off again, funny eh??. i'm now with virgin cable, best thing i ever done

  • just seen this on the bbc news site

    Power to the people!

  • So true, i have had a terrible customer service from BT, TRIED TO ACTIVETE A LINE WITH BT, THEE TIMES OVER 1hr EACH CALL, WHEN FINALLY PLACED AN ORDER WAS TOLD WILL ACTIVATE WITHIN 10 DAYS, 35DAYS PAST STIL NO SERVICE. I GOT FEDUP WAITIN CALLED A DIFFERENT SUPLIRER WHICH GOT ME GOING IN 3 DAYS, ONE MONTH AFTER BT STARTS SENDING BILLS, CALLED BT 1:43 ON HOLD THEY SAID SORRY YOU DID TRANSFERE OUR FOULT, 3 MONTHS LATER THEY SEND ME ANOTHER BILL OF £94 FOR LEAVIN BT..

  • This is very true. I left BT broadband after they randomly cut me off and nobody in India could find out why, or get it switch back on! -- Three months later I moved to Zen Internet, who had me back up and running in 3 days! -- Oh and Zen's call centre is in the UK, and staff know what their talking about!

  • Sadly it seems necessary to actively seek out ISP's, Banks, and utility providers that do not have offshore call centres and the like. Being a Telewest (aka Virgin) customer I consider myself very lucky with the high quality of service I have received (my one fault turned out to be my error!), however a friend of mine had no end of problems with BT/AOL and is now very happily paying Zen Internet for his broadband.

p.s. I believe the gentleman in the video has now had his dispute resolved.

  • Dealing with Indian call centres can be extremely stressful. I spent 45 mins to Orange (Indian centre) trying to change bank details. The same thing to another UK based centre took 3 mins. I left BT long ago to use SIP VoIP over (naked) cable broadband. I wouldn't use any of the landline providers. I can now use a range of providers and can ditch/'take on' any in minutes. The landline providers charge far too much for their calls and the 'connection charge' is the biggest scam yet.

  • Lol. Hope you get some proper compensation...

  • Well done - thought the above vid might appeal to you.

  • Hey just heard you on 5live aswell, I live in spain we have a similar problem with telefonica over here, it seems to be a worldwide problem...

  • good work

  • Good man, listening to you on the radio!

  • now listening to you on 5 live, what a joke BT are !!!!

  • Well done! It's just a pity that customers are forced to go to such lengths in order to be dealt with. Whatever happened to speaking to a person about a complaint instead of machines?

  • How about when you have nothing good to say you don't say anything at all?

The gentleman in this video had a valid point to make - shame someone like you tows the corporations line!

  • Well done! We should all do things like this.Who knows, things might change a little!

  • About your blood presure, i took up juggling to lower mine, after months of practise i can now juggle six kittens, i tried seven but i kept dropping one, either that or it got caught in one of the chainsaws i was also juggling at the same time.

ps, anyone got any spare kittens going?

oh and any tips for removing blood stains?

  • Hope people realise that once this goverment gives you your Identity cards in the future, what will happen is, say to pay your gas, electric, tv license, road tax, tax, vat, phone bill etc, you will simply report to a payment centre, form a queue, all bend over drops your undies or knickers, and someone will come along and shove a swipe card up your ass. and take the payment, now thats when you know you have been well shafted by the goverment.

  • BT are terrible, go with Telewest.

  • just move to TalkTalk, its 20 quid for the full pack. the customer service is shite... the thing is they are really worrying BT... and will perhaps shake them into place.

  • I used to work for BT in Dundee. The place is a joke. Half the staff haven't a clue and the queue's are horrendous.

    Good Luck!!

  • Anyone wanting a complaint against a telecommunication company taken notice of should look up Ofcom or Otelo; trust me i used to work for a company like BT. -Watch how they suddenly sit up, even if you just name-drop one of these independent market regulators...

  • Well done for putting your problems out there! This has happened to me with British Gas, they're terrible! Good Luck in court!

    x

  • Great video mate, i have had endless problems with them, often on the phone for hours on my mobile (costing me alot of money) and get absolutely nowhere

  • I had to wait 4 months to get a phone line installed,2 days wasted waiting for engineers to turn up and many long phonecalls and letters. They are useless. And not one apology!

  • fukin great it wsads on five news

    22nd nov like 17:40

  • Hi I got problem with BT they charge me for service which never been deliver to me...They all the time asking for many and now they trying put me on court...I order bt line which I still don't have after half year...and when I phone about cancelation they put me on hold (last time I was waiting 30min)...where is the justice...what can I do

  • Good on you man! Bloody call centres are a nightmare.

  • Yes this is the same problem that I've had !

BT are full of talk, but can't deliver !!!!

  • Read about this in the paper this morning. I don't have BT, but i have Virgin TV and they're just about the same problem. Great idea making your problems public, even better to take them to court. Goodluck solving your issues mate.

  • I sympathise with you Celtic, been going through the same thing too. Been disconnected twice in the past 5 months due to BT's incmpetence. No refunds for the time spent without services (even though I've paid for it). Utter disgrace.

Good on you for pursuing your complaints.

  • I've had terrible internet service from BT after they 'upgraded' my broadband service without being asked to. The last four weeks have been punctuated by literally hours of ME chasing THEM on the phone- they fail to call back when they say they will, they have lied to me, their call centre staff are often rude and incompetent, so I know how you feel. Good luck with your mission mate!

  • As featured on the 'Tony Horne In The Morning' radio show: tonyhorneinthemorning. com

  • Bad

  • Good on you mate........Im sure this made them squirm and the fact that it,s on the daily mail website with a direct link to here too must have put a smile on your face and reduced the old bllod pressure !

  • just go for it

if their treating u like that u cant lose

  • Please comment Good or Bad whether you think BT's Service is addressing customers complaints fairly. The regulator is clearly having a problem keeping this large organisation in check. Your support can really help.

  • I am extremely disappointed with their services. The broadband Service is intermittent at best and the Broadband phone results in poor quality calls where the other person as well as myself cannot work out clearly what is being said.

I have asked to be released from my Contract without paying cancellation fees but BT refuse. I have honoured my part of the Contract by paying everything I have been charged but they don not honour their side of contract by providing a reliable, usable Service

  • I recently spent 10 Min's on their website trying to find a telephone number to phone them on - surely for a telephone provider a telephone number of your own should be clearly advertised? I agree with your statement fully - companies are just not willing to take responsibility for their actions any more (or lack of). They seem to try and push it under the carpet, or use scare tactics to make the customer feel in the wrong!
