This whole "album" was great. Todd had been using that same sound but it never got old. I love all his older stuff like this. Actually Jesse Saunders is the first House producer from Chiago (That's what some critic say). But...I still feel that T.T. is the man who brought it out the most. He was and still till this day the name that stands out the most from all producers that I know when it comes out to House music. House music will go on to be remebered as the most important genres ever... Its been THE mainstream for over 20 years, punk was not, even rock n roll was not, jazz was not. Also what it represents culturally cannot be understated. House more than any other genre is about juxtopostion - as is our society.

All the genres come from Jazz and Blues. Jazz is the mother of all American music, even House. But House has never been mainstream. It's always been underground and largely unknown to the mainstream. Why?? Because it cannot be separated from the clubs and the dancefloors. It's not radio or video friendly. Thus, it never grew like rap. House is like a very fine liquer, or a Cuban cigar: something one must experience in its natural state to truly understand. I'm glad it's not mainstream.
