This is indeed a great cover, one of the best (technically), but impossible to compare with the feeling radiating of Damien Rice when he's performing every song of his repertoire (eg. Elephant, The Professor, 9 Crimes, Cold Water, I Remember). We didn't share the same barometer of sensibility and authenticity.
