  • 1:32 An FC202 throwing knife. I have one of those. Very nice to throw with.

  • Trolls shall be removed from comments...PERMANENTLY! MUAHHAHAHA

  • @tulp35000 Wow did you learn that from Skyrim Academy and MW3 basic training? First of all, yes adrenaline does give you that boost to block the pain yes, but this does not give you the power to live without BREATHING!!! Carata Artery, The arteries in your arms, the arteries in your leg, cut these and the adrenaline means shit. "I'll kill you if your knife hit me in the eye?" What are you 9 now?

  • @tulp35000 Hmmm, ok, I'm a second degree blackbelt, thousands of people throw knives, I actually have thrown with guys who perform in Vegas, and people who resort to this are guys who run into a guy with a gun. If someones going to fight me, I'll hand my knife to my friend and fight with the skills I have, he pulls a knife on me? Hell yeah I'm going to throw it into his lung, cause I carry 2 more in case it misses.

  • were else can u get that dubble ended knife

  • @jjninja5596 Ebay is where I found mine, search enough and I'm sure you can find it

  • @AdamNinjaXXX is simply piss poor.

  • @401tillidie Wow coming from the pothead without a future. I'm so offended

  • @wingzero7X umad??

  • @401tillidie ....a little XD

  • Pretty good. If you are interested in throwing for self defense then you should learn no spin throwing. Xolette's channel has some good vids of no spin. That is actually how I first learned about no spin is from her youtube vids then I bought the book and video by Ralph Thorn from Paladin press. Well worth the little bit of money you will spend. I dont have a knife throwing vid on here, maybe next spring.

  • @MrBigdaddy8 I've developed quite a technique for no spin as of late. Xolette is a friend of mine actually and we compete at the Cold Steel Challange. I'll try to post a vid of my nospin later

  • your very talented. you should make a video to teach people (like me lol) to throw them :)

  • @lastlaugh98 Thankyou, Maybe I'll do that. But if you're really interested in learning. Search up the guy whom I called sensei so to speak while I was first learning. Search up Ben Throwing Knives and he'll teach you all the basics you need

  • U should not be throwing Bo shuriken u have no skill at all for them , and btw they work great on wood , u just are a piss poor shuriken thrower

  • @AdamNinjaXXX Ummm....Ok?....I stuck 4 out of 6 times. And yes I said THESE ones don't stick well. They're some 7 dollar set of Bo Shuriken I bought and they are exactly that. 7 dollar Bo Shurikens, not a week after this video I had to toss them in the trash because the tip had bent all the way back. And really the negative comments are not appretiated. Got and Bo Shuriken vids of your own? I'd like to see.

  • do yuo happen to live in california in the chula vista area

  • @that1kid74 Not information I want to disclose but no I don't

  • I've been looking at the Cold Steel True Flight Thrower for a while now and I'm thinking about getting it. But, I'm not a big fan of cord-wrapped handles; they usually fall apart, and get really dirty. But I was thinking that I could take off the cord. Do you know if that would mess up the balance or anything? Or would it fine?

  • @TheCouldHaveBeenKing Actually the cord is made out of a strong material, I've had mine for years and its still strong. Plus it gives you a better grip for thowing. As for getting dirty, run it under the faucet and then dry it with a paper towel and you're fine. So I 'd recomend you get it and just leave the cord on.

  • @wingzero7X Really? Most cord-wrapped handles suuuuck (well, the cheap ones). Good for Cold Steel.

Do you know if this knife would work well with the no-spin method? It seems like the cord could make it difficult.

  • @TheCouldHaveBeenKing Well I've done the technique with it and it works well, and I suck at the method. The cord that they use isnt really frictional, it slides real easily so I would say yes. I use spin method personally but thats just me.

  • nice collection by the way. What's your opinions on brands? I've found Hibben throwing axes and knifes the best I've tried. Cold steel TFT is also one of my favorites.

Worse throwing knife I've thrown was made by Böker "Mini Bo-Kri" (designed by john bailey) - well, the design is ok(ish) to my style but the steel that they make those from... I've had lots of near misses when the knife comes back at you about the half of the speed you've thrown it.. I don't recommend buying those for anyone.

  • @BigJay604 In my opinion, the cheaper it is, the worst it is. However my favorite in throwing knives is nothing but pure Cold Steel. The True Flight thrower by Cold steel is beast, after a year of throwing its still sharp as hell. I also admire SOG throwing knives as well, but Cold Steel offers knives with heft, edge, balance, and pure badassery.

  • dammmmn I wish I had a setting where I could set up a board again... :(

Currently living in two room appartment, 2nd floor, not much space for wood chips. I enjoy axes and tomahawks the most, although when I practiced most, I could stick a nail, 0,5cm spike or ordinary kitchen dining knife 2cm in to the 2by4" :D (from around 3 meters to 5 max) ...fun times..

  • @BigJay604 Dude that sucks, I have a friend who ran into the same problem. As for you skills with tomahawks nails, spike, and kitchen knife, kudo's. And you're right, fun times

  • bahahaha. you panty waste. real fuckin pro standing five feet from the fuckin target. tell ya what come up to canada and throw at some of our targets, we do 35 feet minimum.

  • @tonx101 Wow...Ok one I'll say that I was throwing from 12 ft in this video. I know 5 feet isn't impressive I even said it in the freaking video. BUT...you say you can throw 35 feet...well then bravo. I've only been able to throw 25 feet XD Oh well.

  • @wingzero7X ok maybe a little off colour, but you can see my point if you look at the shit tonne of other 'throwing demonstration' videos on youtube and see how overly pathetic it is seeing people act pro and be tossing from 5-10 feet.

  • @tonx101 Agreed, 5-10 feet is amateur at best. I personally hate seeing them throwing at targets laying down and the throw like 2 feet from it.

  • can u cut urself wen u throw knives?

  • @ShapeshifterGirl1 Depends how you throw, from the handle, no way. From the blade, depends it you let the back of the knife face you hand or the edge itself. But yes you can cut yourself.

  • Wow Jon After all these years I didn't know you can throw knives lol.

  • @LeninaXx Yeah...sorry who are you?

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • @wingzero7X Lol woops. Sorry. Its Kiana. >.> !

  • @LeninaXx Kiana who? Sorry I know a few XD

  • @wingzero7X OH PSH LOL Kiana Arita >.>

  • @LeninaXx Oh geez, Hey XD ...Seriously...you didn't know after all that time I could throw knives?...

  • hey i am buying my first set of throwing knives any tips

  • @MasterZ96 Yes

  • @MasterZ96 Yes Don't get a cheepo knife. Buy Cold Steel Throwers, Trust me, they cost some money but they kick ass

  • Way better than playing darts haha. But in a real situation when a gunman actually pulls a gun out on you, I mean you would probably be in a state of surprise, because you won't be expecting it; so it may affect your throwing ability. And plus I highly doubt the guy is just gonna stand there and wait for you to get into position, to raise the knife over your head and throw it at him -____-; he would probably shot you down or try to duck and then shoot you.

  • @Mr408scorpion I would hope for the duck then shoot, then I may be able to flee. Plus, I wouldn't even try if the man had me at direct gun point, I only suggested that the man wasn't looking at you when you came accross him, you throw because its faster than running up and stabbing him. Just a suggestion is all. And yes, I probobly would be in a state of panic XD

  • @Mr408scorpion - That's true. You'd have to be an expert soldier, (check out some SYSTEMA clips of Vladimir Vasiliev throwing a knife from short distances. The technique is to throw with a spear type throwing, I've never learned that so well.

And also, who's going to carry 2kg of steel around his belt if someone comes to rob you? There is an advantage though, improvised weapons. You're much better thrower if you've done knifes, and most of the times there's something you can throw to buy time

  • Where can I get some knives for cheap?

  • @codalicous3211 true swords.com has a lot of cheapo knives for you to throw around, however, I'd buy bulk when it comes to buying cheap shit, that way you get more for one Shipping Fee.

  • you were joking about throwing at someone with a gun.....right?

  • @deepego3 No I was serious, think about it this way because I've heard all the disagreements before. Say a man has a gun, but he's pointing the gun 90 degrees away from you, but he sees you, you don't have time to get him with a knife close range and you don't have a gun, you have two knives on you though. What I was suggesting is you throw one to injure or even kill him, while he's distracted, you close in and kill him

  • did you make these yourself?

  • @wolfcookieo9 Did I make what? The video, knives, board?

  • Looks great!

  • Man throwing from this distance is a joke:) half a turn ... common. Throw from 12 feet at least. Joke otherwise.

  • @valleyorca I believe it was thow, these were mostly 2 turn throws

  • @valleyorca I'd disagree, especially with his smaller set of knives. I think he's throwing from a perfectly fine distance.

  • @Xolette Thanks, I just got the Cold Steel True Flight Thrower, and I'm able to get sticks from 24 feet

  • @wingzero7X Very nice! You should try the Cold Steel Challenge-- it's next weekend! The farthest distance now... is around 19 feet, or, 5 meters.

  • @Xolette ......Um.......I am XD!!!! Are you? And by the way the distances are 16, 20, and 24 feet

  • @wingzero7X No, they changed the rules at the last minute. The distances were 6 throws at 12, 18, and 24 into one target for only 1 round (18 throws total). Now it's 2,3,4,5 meters into 3 targets, for 4 rounds (60 throws total). Search "IKTHOF" and that's how the Cold Steel Challenge will be like. It's much better, because 6 knives into 1 target means you have to be lucky to get a high score. If you watch my "Lesson in Knife Throwing" Jack Dagger gave me a crash course in IKTHOF rules.

  • @Xolette Good luck and see you there!

  • @Xolette Will do, and dammit! THEY CHANGED THE RULES!!!

  • @wingzero7X Haha! I had the same reaction. My group had been practicing 12, 18, 24 for months-- keep in mind we'd bomb at 18 and 24 all the time though. :) But really, the new rules are better. I was glad Jack could tell me they changed the rules, or else I would've never known!

  • @Xolette yeah, I have you to thank for the news personally. How many are in your group? how well have you been doing?

  • @wingzero7X No problem! There's several of us, but I might be the only one knife throwing. The others might be knife sparring. Been doing all right with knife throwing from 2, 3, and 4 meters, but 5 and 6 is pretty inconsistent. :)

  • @Xolette Same, but I'm pretty good at 16 feet now, or 5 meters, but 6 meters and 20 feet are a bit tougher. How do you throw? Spin? No-Spin?

  • @wingzero7X Spin-- it's easier for me at the longer distances. Glad the true flights are working well for you. I wasn't a fan of the cord wrapped handle and how sharp the blade is, but it looks like a better size than my monster Sure Balance Throwers.

  • @Xolette yeah, I actually like the cord somewhat, but id rather let the cord fall off when it does naturally. I only have the true flight, but I'm ordering a Shanghai shadow

  • @wingzero7X Well, just so you know, for the challenge, they're only allowing the Sure Balance, Pro Balance, Perfect Balance, and the True Flight throwers for the knife throwing (but they also provide them for you). I like Cold Steel, but my next upgrade will be a custom knife set. Jack Dagger's knives were awesome.

  • @Xolette I only use the true flight....probobly because I only have that one. XD

  • @valleyorca On the contrary that s a whole turn throw

  • Got that rite

  • I'd have to fly I'm all the way in NC and I ain't got no money

  • @ninjasruleall1 LOL, that would be a hell of a commute.

  • awsome vid

  • No can't attend the one California too far away and I'm nit sponsered by cold steel I would go but I ain't got the money to get down there

  • @ninjasruleall1 Yeah, I'm commuting a 3 hour drive to get there myself.

  • where did u get the angel wings?

  • @coolchillice I'm sorry to say I got them at a store that was closed down at the mall...I cry to this day.

  • im guessing she doesnt no where the heart is....

  • @bshemonia10 well my drawing isn't exactly perfect so I can't really put her down on that.

  • can you throw cards?....I threw a pokemon card at a friend once and drew blood...I wasn't trying, hes ok, but thats when I thought of ninja stars....if you want VERY awesomes ninja gear like your knives go to trueswords(dot)com....it is awesome I think I'll by some stars for 10 bucks total!

  • @serebiilover12345 Yes I can throw cards, I already know about Trueswords, I actually made mention of them in the video but thank you anyway. Unfortunately for me I live in CA so they won't ship me throwing stars. Don't ask how I got the ones I have. XD Oh and props for drawing blood with a card.

  • I have like half of all of ur knives and I'm a competition thrower so I'll post some ov my vids made by my sponsers

  • @ninjasruleall1 Really? Are you attending the one in California by Coldsteel September 25th?

  • @ninjasruleall1 The competition that is.

  • Wooden Board Man has feelings too.

  • yea but still would hurt like a mofo u dig...sweet vid

  • @cose824 especially my new cold steel knife I got, the impact alone from the handle would fracture your skull this thing is so heavy, lol, thats what she said.

  • Cool just like mw2 lol

  • @ixtopa1 No sorry I wouldn't be like you. XP

  • "Ninja stars", come on man get your terminology right. Those are called shurikens.

  • @Hezzol You're right, I said Ninja Stars though, because every time I tell people Shurikens they cock their eyebrow, people like you and me though, we know better, I was just making the video idiot friendly.

  • @Hezzol problem is people call u naruto nerd D:<

  • @xXDannyOwnsXx Word

  • @wingzero7X lol

  • @xXDannyOwnsXx What's naruto? :x

  • @Hezzol I'd have to ask if you were joking, but if you're not its an Anime involving ninjas.

  • where can u get knives like that plz replay

  • I guess what I mean is all those shots you thought would have killed... Wouldn't have killed

  • @MCyammer117 I wouldn't go that far, some of those shots would definitely kill.

  • @MCyammer117 That I can accept.

  • I like how you reply to people saying you understand them and saying fuck at the same time lol . Also I agree throwing knives are for fun and show

Mostly. Thrown weapons such as small knives and throwing "stars" were only considered an effective weapon when dipped in poison. The actual penetration in very low and is exaggerated in movies and games ie modern warfare.

  • @MCyammer117 Right, the poison was the key in these weapons, and the ninja had access to puffer fish, aka, a REALLY FAST Poison.

  • Dork but good job tho

  • @ninjasruleall1 Don't you know, dorks rule man! Thanks for the comment.

  • Your an idiot... Rule 1- never throw your only weapon. 2 never try to throw a knife at some fron 5 feet away JUST STAB THEM LIKE A PERSON TO DEFEND YOUR SELF. 3 throwing weapons are for show not self defense......

  • ok...I understand that thought, BUT, for your rule 1, CARRY MORE THAN ONE FUCKING KNIFE! NOT THAT HARD! PLUS!!! You need a goddamn LICENCE to carry a gun, where with a knife, you can buy a mother fuckload at, well just about any where, PLUS, throwing weapons DO make good defense if you use it properly, such as, closing in on your attacker, or retreating, and keep throwing, and if you're closing in, throw a knife at his center, and stick or not he's thinking WTF, so take 5 step and stab him!

  • @wray4407 P.S. Any self defense is good if done right, take a pen and practice enough and a goddamn pen can be a fucking self defense weapon. Just saying, I do understand your critisism though.

  • but.. you would be like to slow pulling those knives if a guy had a gun...

  • @sponfun in life we never know whats going to happen, I think if a guy pulled a gun on me like a freaking gang banger normally would, its reach behind him, dig in his boxers, cock head and point, now I can pull a knife easy, pull throw, easy movement we all grow up with, now I'm not arguing a throwing knife is the best plan ever, but you see cold steel knives flying at your body, you flinch instinctively, and stick or not, that distraction could save my life. P.S. Guns require getting a licence

  • @wingzero7X i get what ur saying but if you plan to conceal your knife or any weapon you also need a lisence and neck carry is concealed and a weapon with a footprint is illegal so u better be hiding your weapons damn well

  • u can buy knifes on ebay ?

    sweet

  • wow your like 2 feet away from the target

  • @Awesomee73 on one of them I pretty much am, but the rest I'm actually throwing from 10 ft or so.

  • Hey John you can check out cold steel's boot knives which there high priced but worth it and you can still check on amazon or eBay as well

  • 2:50 somebody had an orgasm...

  • @shmots2channel ????

  • @shmots2channel

LOL YOUR RIGHT HAHAHA FUCKING HALARIOUS!!!

  • @shmots2channel hahah, it's a sigh

  • I CAN DO THIS! In ModernWarefare 2 Anyways.. XD!

  • @TriangleDragon That totally counts! LOL! LOVE the throwing knife in MW2, I was fucking stocked and poking at my friend "I told you they're battle worthy!"

  • hi! are you doing no-spin or spin??

  • hello to you too findmeifyoucan, I'm doing both actually, spin on my knives, no spin on my ninja spikes.

  • @findmeifyoucan he's doing a useless spin-no spin's better for everything!

  • i was trying it with kitchen knifes and one bounced and almost killed me -.-

  • @genaxide LOL!!! I'm sorry I know thats terrible but it happened to me once, and goddammit my mom was right behind me XD

  • @wingzero7X that was funny tho.. but now everytime i practice i trhow it and run..

  • why not sharpen the tips of the darts down to a finer point?

  • @2007GoingOn1984 I don't have anything really that would work on a nail...yet. but I see your point

  • Did he died?

  • thats a nice drawing on the board

  • @Roosevelt37s yeah he's looked better XD

  • is that ur mom?

  • Okay you can through it but why dont you try and aim them because okay it doesnt matter where you get hit its going to hurt, but it you try and go for a spot and not just aim for the wood it be better :/ otherwise its random on the board (wood) but good knives i guess :/

  • is your combat knife a kabar 1211 on your right side? with a custom sheath?

  • Yep, right on the money man, my sheath though, all I did was get the hard sheath and used a 60' shoelace, interweeved it in the sides and strap it to my leg and belt. True story actually, while going through a creek, I got cocky and slipped on a mossy rock and fell on a pointed rock, however it hit my kabar attached to my leg. Saved my life, I LOVE that knife.

  • @wingzero7X i got a ka-bar 1211 as well, i have not got around to getting a better sheath yet though. cool story though and nice throwing.

  • dude, you could assasinate people if u wanted to , cool vid 5*
