  • I've been so disappointed in my voice training these last few months that its caused me so much heavy grief. It almost made things feel worse than before my transition. Your video has really inspired me not to quit. Though I've yet to find my new voice, I can't quit after seeing this. How long did you have to practice to get to this point? Is it going to take me years just to start hearing a change?

  • i need help,hw do iu change my voice from male to female,am a male to female ts,its so damn hard to talk feminine i can sing fem but i cant taslk fem

  • @hotworkagain The real obstacle in voice training is hormonal. No matter how much you train your vocal chords, your efforts will always be massively sabotaged by your testosterone production.

    .

It sounds extreme but the greatest thing you can do for your transition is a surgical or chemical castration. Without testosterone production your voice will naturally become VERY feminine within weeks.

  • @Jex134 - What specifically changed with orchiectomy for you? Are you sure it wasn't just breakthroughs in your voice practice? 'Cause I already have the talking range to stay in head voice, can figure out the speech patterns, and know what she means by the "wispy" thing. Am I missing something?

  • @theworldisakoan The first changes weren't great. Hot spells, irritability, and a bit of anxiety--that soon subsided with further use of estrogen (without any you'll lose most of your sex-drive) then the bigger changes began

    .

My features softened, my facial, pubic, and body hair went almost entirely away, fat redistributed, breasts budded, and my voice became indistinguishable from a bio-female (I stopped voice training a month before my orchi to facilitate the changes it made)

  • @Jex134 - As far as I know, after puberty the vocal cords are already grown in a way that makes a "masculine" sound. They don't just shrink back to a pre-pubescent shape after T levels drop. So I'd have to have some more specifics on what changed from pre-orchi to post-orchi with you, to understand what you're saying.

  • @theworldisakoan All in all having my orchiectomy was the best decision I've ever made. I'm so glad my husband encouraged me to go through with it---without his support I never would have had the spine to do it.

  • You were born male? I can't even tell! Your voice is beautiful, I like listening to you!

  • please help me,i want to acheive a feminine voice

  • @hotworkagain well try watching my videos, hopefully they can help :)

  • I saw your spleef stadium video, and loved your voice so much I had to look at more of your videos. Coincidentally you actually had a video about your voice!

  • thats great :)

  • You have a very nice voice. Much more pleasant than most women in my opinion. Did you develop the accent as well along with the pitch (and timbre, I guess) during the voice training or did it carry over from pre-transition? I find that I have quite a terrible 'accent' while practicing. It sounds really different from boy-mode (and not in a good way). Is this normal?

Thank for you posting the videos :)

  • @jergorn93

thanks for the feedback! As far as I know I've never actively developed an accent, so it must just be my native accent to being where I'm from? The pitch and timbre I for sure developed during and after voice training. It's ok if it sounds weird for a while, I think this is pretty normal. It takes a while to get used to using a different voice and also honing in on the texture and nuances of your new voice. Let me know how it goes!

  • @girloftomorrow Thanks for the reply :) Well, "How do you get to Carnegie Hall?", and all that!

  • Great video and your voice is amazing! You're really cute too ;)

  • @cuteypietiffany thanks for your heartwarming comment :)

  • Awesome tips!

  • This is a very good voice demonstration (for everyone). You sound nice, really.
