I agree with you, i would also add insomnium (another great finnish melo death band) to that underrated list. They are definately better musicians than SS. But as a fan of SS i must say that for what they play , they are good at it. The guitar layering really works with their two guitarists and their latest album creates a nice creepy atmosphere at certain points. Most kids just listen to it because they think it is brutal...i listen to it cuz i like it. But they have nothing on STS or insomnium

Nah, Insomnium are really great live, quality music. But I'd never compare them to StS. Insomnium is way more repetetive and linear. Since I've heard StS for the first time I've always concidered them as an orchestral metal band, the arrangements are awesome.
