Here are the facts: For 2009 US electrical Generation by Source. This is % electricity on the grid.
44.9% COAL, 23.4% Natural Gas, 20.3% Nuclear, 6.9% conventional Hydroelectric, 3.9% Other renewables (Green Power), 1% Petroleum. That 3.9%, that's green power. It will be a long time before Green Power has an effect on the electrical grid.....
