I can see what people would think this was from Young Wive's Tale". Audrey appears in a similar costume and hairdo and plays an eccentric character, which she appears to be when throwing the clothes on the lady. But if the tests wrre done in 1952, it couldn't be that 1951 film. They may have outfitted her with the same costume.
Gave my best shot ..These are Audrey Hepburn's dialogues in my eye's opinion
Ah.. right! Ma'am how much? So many? .. Yes Ma'am
Now I'm going to Yes Ma'am .....Blue Piece .... Or this .. Do you want these?... Oh you're right Ma'am...*Embarrassed* I'm sorry... *Serious look* I wish *name* had a wife.
WHY ARE PEOPLE COMPARING PAM TO AUDREY?! WHY?! THERE IS NO COMPARISON! AUDREY IS A CLASSIC BEAUTY...CLASSY...ELEGANT...PAM IS TRAMPY..SLUTTY..FAKE AND RATHER UGLY! No comparison!

Audrey Hepburn was a rather dull actress in my opinion. She rarely displayed much depth with the excpetion of The Children's Hour and her brilliantly funny turn in Charade. Other than that her career was pretty awful. Breakfast At Tiffany's has long been an overated film and doesn't deserve to be seen as Hepburn's biggest triumph which is undoubtedly the aforementioned The Children's Hour.
When it comes to actresses, I always believe there were good actresses, great actresses and then there is Audrey Hepburn. She is truly the best, and her movies say it best!
This footge was actually shot to demonstrate the qualities of a particular brand of colour film stock and wasn't a test for Audrey in "The young wives' tale" though the test was directed by Henry Cass (director of YWT).
Audrey Hepburn is being herself in this screen test, and that's why she is very lovely and charming. Audrey Hepburn is undoubtedly the most beautiful and charming woman that has ever lived on Earth. Honestly, I'm attracted to her, and I'm obsessed with her beauty, charmingness, charisma, appearance.....her voice, her accent, her smile, and her femininity.............
souserofliberty does not know nothing about beauty..... me... I'm a girl - 16 years....... and I agree with you.... ok.. maybe I'm not attracted.... :D.... that's impossible for me....... but I understand you because I wonder myself sometimes..... "how the guys cannot love Audrey? she is so pure.... I don't understand why they love Pamela Anderson for example..... this is not a beautiful women......Audrey is so unique!!!!......
real men do love audrey in my opinion, as i do. i'm almost 46 and pamela anderson does absolutely nothing for me. audrey hepburn was a once in a limetime individual.......so beautiful, not just on the outside, but even more on the inside.........a true angel....i'm gonna try to be more like her, as all people should and the world would be a better place!!
I'd take Audrey Hepburn over Pam Anderson any day of the week - Pam Anderson isn't worth a one-night stand, but Audrey Hepburn is worth a lifetime of love.
I think you should ask yourself how can I make what I have already better. Audrey didn't act like a slut in her day and today we have celebrity sluts trying to emulate her, ie Paris, N Ritchie, etc. JUST BE YOU and focus on your assets and improve your liabilities throughout your life and watch how you much you attract positive things in your life.
Wonderful glimpses - and you are so right: her spirit just leaps off the film despite the lack of sound and the rather mundane activities. But, of course, everything Audrey ever did was infused with radiant light!
Really cool to see this. I have not seen any Audrey Hepburn movies before Roman Holiday. I only saw The Lavender Hill Mob (of the movies before 1953). I want to see those other movies too, although she has only a small part in it

I'm sorry but Audrey is wearing exactly the same clothes in the movie Young Wive's Tale. You can confirm that on many web sites which represent pictures of this movie.

Surely greatest1942, you must be confusing the rather silly Audrey Hepburn with the Goddess Valerie Hobson!

Are you sure of the date (1952)?
Because this video represents excerpts from the movie "Young Wives's Tale", which was released in 1951.

Thanks for your message. This scene doesn't feature in the BFI's print of 'Young Wives' Tale' and the feature film itself was shot in black and white. The assumed date of the test is 1952 given that this date appears on the clapperboad in certain sequences.

Concerning the clapperboad, I can't read a date because of the poor quality of the video.
And finaly, the other movies shot by Audrey after this one (Secret People and Roman Holiday) are completely different.

I'm sorry but Audrey is wearing exactly the same clothes in the movie Young Wive's Tale. You can confirm that on many web sites which represent pictures of this movie.
So I'm quite sure of the date.
