Like the other poster, I, too, reflect on the many loved ones that have come and gone in my life. It's a bittersweet feeling. They are alive and well in your mind and heart but yet they are gone from this world. I think of my aunts, uncles, grand parents, and now my mom has Alzheimer's so it really gets me down but the good memories pick me up.

Oh to see all of those people again. But, I will one day be rejoicing with all of them! What an awesome day that will be when we're all together again!

Every year at Christmas Eve I watch Home Alone. It's been our family tradition since many years. This movie, especially this song reminds of joy and warmth during these most beautiful days in the whole year.

And right now I'm sad, because Christmas ended and I need to wait over 360 days to feel this magic in the air. Luckily, I still have this song :)

It truly is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all. I try my hardest to keep those dearly departed alive in my memory so they will still be with me, in some way, forever.

This movie came out when I was 18 and when this song comes on I cry hysterically. It reminds me of simpler, happier times when I had a home, when my grandmother didn't have dementia and when my mom didn't have cancer. I love the movie tho and wish I can just go back in time and be a kid again.
