@Wilboki Since making this video, I began to recognize those familiar sounds in those videos as well. Then a couple of different guys here on You-Tube made expose videos about just this thing. They even played the scenes from War of the Worlds that those sounds came from. Bird Shrieking sound was the first indication in MY mind as well. I'm in the mid south part of TN and sometimes we hear a roaring sound in the sky that goes on for hours. No one notices until I mention it to them. Something like when you go to the grocery store and music is playing but you don't really hear it.
I live about 4 miles from an airport and I've seen those military planes you're talking about. They are loud & low flying. They don't go by as fast as the jet planes do so it's easy to get a good glimpse when you hear it. Back in March 2011, I heard a really loud noise that I concluded wasn't a plane (Posted video in favorites on my channel titled "What the Hell"). A few days ago, I heard another loud noise similar to the unexplained one in 2011(Posted that video on my channel). Not Planes...IDK
@P5ych0B10tch I had a listen to your video. At first I thought you might be playin with me. But then when I heard your video, I immediately recognized what we have heard around here. I don't think you need to be alarmed. Here in TN we have an Air-Force Base, and it's rumored that they like to test engines & the like out in their nice wind tunnels. I wish you could of got what you heard on tape. I have not heard any thing and I'm out side most the day. Maybe I'll get to hear it. I have been seeing videos here on youtube about the noise. The one sounded like some one playing them on a loud speaker. Try to get it of video the next time you hear it.

Funnel shape antennas sound like microwave "horns", common in the past for long distance communications. Largely been replaced by satellite and fiber optics......
I heard they were calling them skyquakes, and it's the earth's core destabilizing and the sound of it will come out of the ground and use the sky as a sound board in a way.

But since making this video I have figured (but not certain) that the sound I heard was the local air-base testing out something, or one of their C-130 flying in one of the neighboring valleys out of my line of sight. I do think some are fake but alot of them are real! I personally have not heard anything here in Washington state but they even have it happening at baseball games! now really you think the sports comintator is going to do that while a game is going on plus people are looking around going what? idk but something big is going on and whatever it is does not sound good...plus several calls to 911 from people in the same town what are the chances of people trying that hmmm. weird things happening..
@dsssjjmb Thanks for sharing. Apparently at the ball game you speak of, there was an incident with lightning hitting the arena, which in turn caused a feedback on the sound system. At least that's what they are saying. Until I personally hear an odd sound that is UN-explainable, I will not fall victim to the whole "oh my god!" reaction. I heard the similar sound several days last sumer/autumn in my town in Romania , the strange that the sounds was the fact that people ignore them , they act like nothing happend .One ocasion I visit my good friend and sounds ocur , but nobody seems to stop and listen , the i ask my friend :do you here that ?and then stopped and listen and say Yeah ! hot springs AR. 6 out of 7 day they spray chem -trails on us ......and they like to play that strange sound form the air port @ oh 1200am to about 3 30am it wakes me up @ nite i have lived here for 13yr in the same spot off and on now and about 2 to 3 yr ago is when is sound would go off my house would shake so softly.

I remember studying the book of revelations, and was amazed at the representations of worldly governments, and the changes depicted to happen to them for their greed, and mis-use of power. I heard this in northeast TN too, it happened for a week or so, like a hovering jet for maybe 5 -10 minutes, I'm not even one to believe in "extra terrestial or consipary" stuff either. i was just laying in bed, and was like what the hell is that sound?!?

Yes, there are alot of hoax videos using the War of the Worlds sound effect. But even more are using the trumpet sound effect from the movie Red State (which, ironically was a sound effect for an end of the world hoax in the movie itself).
There's a rational explanation for everything we see and hear if we just investigate.

@inwinblades I live in western North Carolina and some of my friends have been hearing the strange noises too. It sounds like an old WW2 submarine being crushed by the ocean, very bizarre! Nice bird feeders! :) Yeah the government next will say that the noises are emanating from rusty old weather balloons!

Dont mean to scare you but do you think the War Of The Worlds fictionalized our minds? Like, the military intentional made War of the Worlds so we wouldnt get freaked out hearing their fights with other world aliens above us? We would assume the sounds were from a movie and write all these video's off as hoax. Buys them enough time to get rid of the threat and maybe explain later why they did it. Well if you haven't seen they have been working with new material that makes objects completely invisible, (it allows light to bend around objects and perfectly show what is behind it, near perfect invisibility) so it could vary well be that.
far as the Mayan Calender people like to say "maybe they just stopped" but look it up, it literally counts down: the time scale starts big and gets smaller until it ends, it doesnt just end, even if it kept going they could only add days the way it worked.
It could very well be the work of an artist using sound as his/her medium. Think of the 1990's, when all over the world we saw graffiti art from the artist/political activist bansky. These sounds could be some artist's attempt at provoking a "change in human consciousness" by eliciting our curiosities and fears about the end of days. Art has a way of influencing society just as society has a way of influencing art. What do you think?
for sometime now I have been "feeling" odd disruptions this feeling is also associated with a sound. Sometimes others hear this and other times not. It seems to move in wave form and is accompanied by a mild alarm or paranoia. I had talked to people about it and some have also picked it up but like me were unable to identify origin or specifics. This moring I saw this video and it was the first I had seen others experiancing this. I have no confirmed hypothesis as to what or why
If you have an air base nearby, and they have the A-10 warthog. It may be the sound of the 30mm gatlin gun being fired at a nearby target range. Sounds like a huge bass buzz/fart noise. That might be the sound you hear.
Did you listen to Linda Moulton Howe's presentation on Coast to Coast radio show a couple days ago? She interviewed two other people in Tennessee (Nashville and Memphis) who heard the "horn blast" sound, I think within the past six weeks or so. They were both very sensible. One was a 64 year old retired real estate agent. There have been other witnesses with credible backgrounds. This is not 100% internet hoax, there is something going on. But what...?
I don't know what it is but I know I heard a sound similar to the REAL videos near my condo complex. I know there are a lot of fake ones out there and people saying it is a hoax but I am telling you I heard it. It was mid to late January in San Diego California in Escondido around 2am. At first I thought it was a sound effect from a scary movie someone was watching with the volume up but as I listened for the telltale sign of further sounds from a movie there were none. It is real.

Hi inwinblades, I first heard about these sounds from Huffingpost (aol news). Today I did a research on them and your video was one that came up. I like your realistic approch to this and I followed some of your links. The Budapest link is one that really gets me. Have you ever heard anyone blow a Shofar? They make different ranges of sounds & pitches or tones and this one in Budapest is bone chillingly like the sound of a low pitched Shofar.

hey im here in Ontario, Canada. Had a similar experience to you. I think its a hoax man. I think its the set up for some fake 2012 event (be in aliens, jesus w/e) to force mankind into unity. Perhaps if we all had a common enemy we might join nations together to fight it. I believe these sounds are part of predictive programing to make people feel like "omg 2012 then end is nigh" but its got to be someone pulling strings .....subscribed, hope to here more ideas

The tower with the microwave antennas that were on top are old AT&T long distance microwave towers. They sold those towers when fiber optic cable replaced microwave. The towers are old and somwhat weaker now, so removing the extra weight needed to be done. Many two-way radio and cell phone companies now use them.
As far as the strange sounds, I believe something is happening that some have really heard. I can't stand the fakes though. Thank you for being honest.

most of the videos are fake, but I did hear strange trumpeting sound over New Orleans this past weekend, I was on other side of the misssipi river accross from the french quater, we were staying at a (ywam house ) there for Mardi Gras to share the gospel, the sound was in the sky over city, I cant describe it, but several people from our group did hear it, One of are groups son is atistic and the sound scared him, he related it to tornado sirens. it lasted 20 minutes

Just curious about what part of TN your in. Im over in Dickson County and I havent heard anything here, but then again I do tend to sleep during the day. I would be interested in hearing these sounds myself. There has to be a pattern to them, besides the obvious that they are global.

All the reported sounds seem to be coming from places around the world where Christianity or the idea of extraterrestrials is rooted into the culture. Let me see or hear stories about these things in a place like China where Jesus does not exist in the minds of the people. To them Jesus is the western God and aliens is not subject matter at all. The lack of evidence in places like China, Vietnam, N. Korea where these ideas are foreign is screaming hoax.
@mountaingoat47 It seems to me to be a test of some kind. One hypothesis: they have the power to do a global false flag attack.... of course they have this conspiracy theory out there that says a fake alien invasion or apolcalypse could be used by the government to manipulate people into total submission via fear.... perhaps it was just a 'test' and they saw the reaction, no more need for test.

I love you my brother from another, like no other (especially right now) it is important to be stinkin thinkin about this stuff. Sounds meant to wake those who still sleep the heck back up. Being pure in one's heart loving living is not about knowing religion. It never was. Well, let me tell you that Mayans are not extint or lost. You can find about 4 millions of them in the south of Mexico and Central America. I know a bunch of religious people think is the trumpets of the apocalypsis, but if you hear right, the sounds are completely mechanic. Most of the people compares the sounds with the sound emitted by the giant tripod of the movie "War of the worlds", but everybody have forgotten the movie "Encounters of the third kind". The first tone is similar as well.
@LeyindePol I totally agree with you. That movie has been my farovite movie of close in counters. If we were able to translate the tones we words we could see what they are trying to say. And ask yourself this if there was nothing out there then why is the government the only ones who can see in real time what is in our surroundings in space? Why are they so gun ho on keeping the population in the dark or giving false reasons for certain things that are happening.

I heard the same sound like a week ago. I was here at home with a friend. It is summer here so my bedroom window was open. We looked at each other thinking some explosion happened near us. I still remember the sound, it is really hard to explain what you feel and hear.
You may want to check out the recordings NASA made a few years back of natural sounds from the different planets. I don't know if the same energy causing Northern Lights can also create sound energy - or if gravitational changes can cause sound energy phenomenon. But the sounds everyone seems to be hearing lately sound pretty similar to some of the NASA recordings. Like you, I don't know if any of this is connected, but I thought I'd throw it out there.
I hear the sounds coming from the sky here at night. They are real strange sounds but they don't happen every night and they don't last long.. I live in Syracuse Ny, in the country where it is really quiet at night and it's really easy to hear. All I can say is it sounds like a constant roar with some metalic undertones.Sometimes high pitched ,sometimes low pitched. There is a vibration too that you can feel inside your home when it starts. Best way I can describe it anyway. no clue what it is

IMO movies are hints for us people. Like "War of the Worlds" "District 9" "Star Wars" and etc you know? They're hinting at things within the movie. WotW for example, the hint within that movie may have been the "Strange noises are coming". District 9 could be hinting that we have "alien technology"(Eisenhower traded w/aliens supposedly) There's a lot of other examples but I can't think of them off the top of my head.(Oh, and "The Oblongs" could be referencing the fluoride problem)

@Wilboki Since making this video, I began to recognize those familiar sounds in those videos as well. Then a couple of different guys here on You-Tube made expose videos about just this thing. They even played the scenes from War of the Worlds that those sounds came from. Bird Shrieking sound was the first indication in MY mind as well. I'm in the mid south part of TN and sometimes we hear a roaring sound in the sky that goes on for hours. No one notices until I mention it to them. Something like when you go to the grocery store and music is playing but you don't really hear it.

I live about 4 miles from an airport and I've seen those military planes you're talking about. They are loud & low flying. They don't go by as fast as the jet planes do so it's easy to get a good glimpse when you hear it. Back in March 2011, I heard a really loud noise that I concluded wasn't a plane (Posted video in favorites on my channel titled "What the Hell"). A few days ago, I heard another loud noise similar to the unexplained one in 2011(Posted that video on my channel). Not Planes...IDK

I don't think you need to be alarmed. Here in TN we have an Air-Force Base, and it's rumored that they like to test engines & the like out in their nice wind tunnels. @dsssjjmb Thanks for sharing. Apparently at the ball game you speak of, there was an incident with lightning hitting the arena, which in turn caused a feedback on the sound system. At least that's what they are saying. Until I personally hear an odd sound that is UN-explainable, I will not fall victim to the whole "oh my god!" reaction. I remember studying the book of revelations, and was amazed at the representations of worldly governments, and the changes depicted to happen to them for their greed, and mis-use of power. Kudos man. I find it very refreshing to see a "strange noises" vid where the person isnt jumping to some crazy "aliens! angels! government conspiracy!" explanation.
Yes, there are alot of hoax videos using the War of the Worlds sound effect. But even more are using the trumpet sound effect from the movie Red State (which, ironically was a sound effect for an end of the world hoax in the movie itself).
There's a rational explanation for everything we see and hear if we just investigate.

Dont mean to scare you but do you think the War Of The Worlds fictionalized our minds? Well if you haven't seen they have been working with new material that makes objects completely invisible, (it allows light to bend around objects and perfectly show what is behind it, near perfect invisibility) so it could vary well be that.
far as the Mayan Calender people like to say "maybe they just stopped" but look it up, it literally counts down: the time scale starts big and gets smaller until it ends, it doesnt just end, even if it kept going they could only add days the way it worked.

These sounds could be some artist's attempt at provoking a "change in human consciousness" by eliciting our curiosities and fears about the end of days. for sometime now I have been "feeling" odd disruptions this feeling is also associated with a sound. Sometimes others hear this and other times not. It seems to move in wave form and is accompanied by a mild alarm or paranoia. I had talked to people about it and some have also picked it up but like me were unable to identify origin or specifics. Did you listen to Linda Moulton Howe's presentation on Coast to Coast radio show a couple days ago? She interviewed two other people in Tennessee (Nashville and Memphis) who heard the "horn blast" sound, I think within the past six weeks or so. They were both very sensible. One was a 64 year old retired real estate agent. There have been other witnesses with credible backgrounds. This is not 100% internet hoax, there is something going on. But what...?

I don't know what it is but I know I heard a sound similar to the REAL videos near my condo complex. I know there are a lot of fake ones out there and people saying it is a hoax but I am telling you I heard it. It was mid to late January in San Diego California in Escondido around 2am. I like your realistic approch to this and I followed some of your links. The Budapest link is one that really gets me. Have you ever heard anyone blow a Shofar? hey im here in Ontario, Canada. Had a similar experience to you. I think its a hoax man. I think its the set up for some fake 2012 event (be in aliens, jesus w/e) to force mankind into unity. Perhaps if we all had a common enemy we might join nations together to fight it. I believe these sounds are part of predictive programing to make people feel like "omg 2012 then end is nigh" but its got to be someone pulling strings .....subscribed, hope to here more ideas

The tower with the microwave antennas that were on top are old AT&T long distance microwave towers. They sold those towers when fiber optic cable replaced microwave. The towers are old and somwhat weaker now, so removing the extra weight needed to be done. Many two-way radio and cell phone companies now use them.
As far as the strange sounds, I believe something is happening that some have really heard. I can't stand the fakes though. Thank you for being honest.

most of the videos are fake, but I did hear strange trumpeting sound over New Orleans this past weekend, I was on other side of the misssipi river accross from the french quater, we were staying at a (ywam house ) there for Mardi Gras to share the gospel, the sound was in the sky over city, I cant describe it, but several people from our group did hear it, One of are groups son is atistic and the sound scared him, he related it to tornado sirens. it lasted 20 minutes

Don't know how true, but it is the only scientific explanation I have found online so far. Also heard these again today.

Just curious about what part of TN your in. Im over in Dickson County and I havent heard anything here, but then again I do tend to sleep during the day. I would be interested in hearing these sounds myself. There has to be a pattern to them, besides the obvious that they are global.

They supposedly change peoples minds about religious beliefs. I live in Kentucky & have witnessed so many strange things this last 2 years!

All the reported sounds seem to be coming from places around the world where Christianity or the idea of extraterrestrials is rooted into the culture. Let me see or hear stories about these things in a place like China where Jesus does not exist in the minds of the people. To them Jesus is the western God and aliens is not subject matter at all. The lack of evidence in places like China, Vietnam, N. Korea where these ideas are foreign is screaming hoax.

One hypothesis: they have the power to do a global false flag attack.... of course they have this conspiracy theory out there that says a fake alien invasion or apolcalypse could be used by the government to manipulate people into total submission via fear.... perhaps it was just a 'test' and they saw the reaction, no more need for test.

I love you my brother from another, like no other (especially right now) it is important to be stinkin thinkin about this stuff. Sounds meant to wake those who still sleep the heck back up. Being pure in one's heart loving living is not about knowing religion. It never was. Jesus showed us the way of life we are supposed to live and this way of life is not about profit margins, taxes oppression, or control. Well, let me tell you that Mayans are not extint or lost. You can find about 4 millions of them in the south of Mexico and Central America. I know a bunch of religious people think is the trumpets of the apocalypsis, but if you hear right, the sounds are completely mechanic. Most of the people compares the sounds with the sound emitted by the giant tripod of the movie "War of the worlds", but everybody have forgotten the movie "Encounters of the third kind". The first tone is similar as well.

@LeyindePol I totally agree with you. That movie has been my farovite movie of close in counters. If we were able to translate the tones we words we could see what they are trying to say. And ask yourself this if there was nothing out there then why is the government the only ones who can see in real time what is in our surroundings in space? Why are they so gun ho on keeping the population in the dark or giving false reasons for certain things that are happening.

I heard the same sound like a week ago. I was here at home with a friend. It is summer here so my bedroom window was open. We looked at each other thinking some explosion happened near us. I still remember the sound, it is really hard to explain what you feel and hear.

You may want to check out the recordings NASA made a few years back of natural sounds from the different planets. I don't know if the same energy causing Northern Lights can also create sound energy - or if gravitational changes can cause sound energy phenomenon. But the sounds everyone seems to be hearing lately sound pretty similar to some of the NASA recordings. Like you, I don't know if any of this is connected, but I thought I'd throw it out there.

I hear the sounds coming from the sky here at night. They are real strange sounds but they don't happen every night and they don't last long.. I live in Syracuse Ny, in the country where it is really quiet at night and it's really easy to hear. All I can say is it sounds like a constant roar with some metalic undertones.Sometimes high pitched ,sometimes low pitched. There is a vibration too that you can feel inside your home when it starts. Best way I can describe it anyway. no clue what it is

IMO movies are hints for us people. Like "War of the Worlds" "District 9" "Star Wars" and etc you know? They're hinting at things within the movie. WotW for example, the hint within that movie may have been the "Strange noises are coming". District 9 could be hinting that we have "alien technology"(Eisenhower traded w/aliens supposedly) There's a lot of other examples but I can't think of them off the top of my head.(Oh, and "The Oblongs" could be referencing the fluoride problem)

It is said, however, that the world will see some major changes. It's not hard to believe either. Uprisings around the world are increasing, and so maybe 2012 means something, just not the end of the world. As far as the sounds go, I have heard nothing, but it's only mid-February, so whose to say I won't hear anything. Good video!
