i love science and guys did u c the microorganisms eating the fruit ?! Its pretty cool, our teacher put oatmeal in a cup with a mushroom for 4 months, we looked at it today and you could see them close up eating it.

I knew that mushrooms and fungus decomposed dead things, but I didnt know that they were attacking the cellulose specifically. That's very interesting.
Do you get bigger mushrooms if you let something with a lot of cellulose decompose? If you could inject some into an already forming mushroom, would it grow exponentially or would it simply die?
