This was back when CMT was a bit more respectable than it is now. Back in the 90s, CMT was much like how MTV originally was in the 80s. It was mostly music videos all day ..and then at night they had some primetime shows, but it was mostly music.

Who says it is fiction? All religions have a God, a supreme deity that they look up to, to aspire to be a better person. the original song is by Mila Mason and so much better, but since it was her only hit back in the 80's it was pretty much forgotten. and tho this is very good, Mila's rendition was so much better. but I've loved this song since it came out way back then. Elton John heard this song years ago and said how much he liked it on the Rosie O'Donnell show. When Amanda's mother heard this she was beyond ecstatic and called Amanda right away. Her mother was so excited that Amanda couldn't tell what she was talking about. Rosie had Amanda perfrom it on her show soon afterwards. That's one of the happiest true stories I can think of.

I was blessed by having the chance to see her live in Munich. This Girl is plain fantastic! An incredible voice that nothing compares with.
