This song is just sheer genius and completly epic this guy as suck a amazing gift, what he does with his music, opens my mind to whole other dimesion, i can go on and on about how great this one guy is but i have to get back to work lol CHEERS STEVEN WILSON AND PORCUPINE TREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the bells at the end always get me as well. I love playing this song LOUD just to get the effect at the end of the bells and record player emulation...
You re right ! when i did this vidéo , i just listened one song of PT , it was late at night, and didn't take care it was Steven Wilson alone !..So there are porcupines pics ! ;-) ...No matter..
arggghhh i love it... now im gonna HAVE TO get steven wilsons album. I JUST SPENt 60 BUCKS ON WILSONS STUFF. now i must spend more. WHY DO YOU DO THIS TO ME!!!!!!!!
haha yeah I lol'd at that, but he didn't write it... some dude threw that sheet of paper to the stage and he just showed it to the audience... He later said in an interview he was indifferent to coldplay, but "he considered chris martin a good melodist."
From about 3:35 where the drum beat alternates, and theres the noise build-up in the background, is just fucking stunning. Steven Wilson can create such powerful emotions and meanings in his music.
Along with "Harmony Korine" this is one of the best songs on the album.
Love it! But Harmony Korine is also Great... this isn't the onely song :D
I like how Steven has managed to create a somewhat entierly new sound... a sound different from that of Porcupine Tree and Blackfield... I hope he does more such projects in the future :D
at least he made a 3 album contract with kscope or something :D I sure hope and believe his next albums are going to be great. I also agree with you about this song and "Harmony Korine", amazing songs, I count those and PT-song "Arriving somewhere..." in same category as Pink floyd's Comfortably Numb as well as the rest of "The Wall". SW has made some music history and i think he will do some more. PROG ON!
What a great song and 3 assclowns had to dislike?

The backup singer @2:51-3:24 is Clodagh Simonds from Fovea Hex - check out the track "Allure" to which SW contributed bass drones.

He said, while showing the paper, thay he did not think Coldplay were wankers, from what I've read.

not porcupine tree!!! this is steven wilson alone!!!! I would insult you but the fact that you post this song while I erased my music makes you a god
fylorama369 2 years ago
Stunning song. Too bad there are no official lyrics. I expected at least that much in a 34 page booklet.
XCrusherX1 2 years ago
Steven Wilson said in an interview that he actually improved most the lyrics, which is disappointing. But that's probably why he never posted them.
