  • @TheProdigalMindset Yma Sumac recorded "I Wonder" in 1987. Almost 30 years after the film was made. Mary Costa provided the voice for Aurora, both singing and speaking.

  • @TheProdigalMindset XD BAHAHAHAHAHA...no

  • It is officially Mary Costa that does both singing and speaking for Princess Aurora

  • Mary Costa's voice is just lovely!

  • beautiful voice man...

  • i lov Yma sumac voice!!!! she was one of the stars of Disney she also recorded the song "I Wonder" from the Disney film Sleeping Beauty and Stay Awake, an album of songs from Disney movies

  • @pavel123po I don't know who you're talking about. but the woman singing is Mary Costa. I did my research very throughly.

  • @roguegirl29 mayby you have to try harder

  • Yma Sumac was a noted Peruvian and this is her voice. In the 1960s, she was the most famous proponents of exotica music and became an international success, based on the merits of her extreme vocal range, which was said to be "well over four octaves" and was sometimes claimed to span even five octaves at her peak

  • Her voice is simply gorgeous. No questions, no arguments, not nothing. GORGEOUS.

  • I much as I think this is one of the poorest movies Walt made, this is a pretty song.

  • OOHH i was wondering where i heard this song

  • Thank god its the original. Well I hope.....Ive been running into all these damn fan dub videos. She was my absolute favorite disney princess when I was child....and here I am looking for clips at age 20 lol.

  • what a beautiful voice

  • I got chills!

  • i believe some of this footage was reused in bambi namely the birds with the owl

  • @TheArtsyTuber bambi was made several years before this film -_-'

  • @guguzete Actually, Bambi was made earlier. Bambi was released in 1942, while Sleeping Beauty was in 1959. Nearly seventeen years diference. ;)

  • @clarinet11 THATS WHAT I SAID "bambi was made several years before this film -_-' " ...READ BETTER...AND DONT FUSS WITH ME ON DISNEY CUZ IM ONE OF THE BIGGEST DISNEY GEEKS...NEEEXT

  • @guguzete Oh, sorry. :X Didn't see that.

  • agh... memories. wish we could all be little kids again. I remember these movies we're all my life! So pleasant

  • Omigosh... my eyes were getting wet.

  • @xXGreenEyedAngelXx

I just bought the video at walmart today. Its available

  • i had only seen this movie once in my life until last year in college. and when she started singing, i burst into tears. so. absolutely. gorgeous.

  • she sings in a very audlt like 30 year old way. so mature and beautiful :)

  • Mary Costa did an amazing job as the singing AND speaking voice of Princess Aurora!

  • @roguegirl29 ya id kill kill for that voice

  • I've always loved this movie.Great artwork and beautiful music.

  • If only our Prince Charming could come galloping over and sweep us off our feet...Not fall off their own....HAHHAHHAH. That part where Phillip falls off his horse is rib splitting funny.

  • Luv it, luv it , luv it!!!!!! =) My favorite disney princess!!!!!

  • 1960's I think

  • Thanks for uploading this. Most of the videos of this song seem to be rerecordings. Aurora has one of the best voices of any Disney heroine, if not the best voice.

  • oh this is just beautiful!!

  • Waitaminute!!! Is that Notch and Beth-Ami???

  • Comment removed

  • does anybody have the lyrics to this song

  • google it!

  • I wonder, I wonder

    I wonder why each

    Little bird has someone

To sing to sweet things to

    A gay little love melody?

    I wonder, I wonder

    If my heart keeps singing

    Will my song go winging

    To someone who'll find me

And bring back a love song to me?

  • I really love how she sounds like a woman when she sings, but a girl when she talks, lol! It's hilarious! But she's the coolest princess out there so it's cool.

  • @RandomFreakyGirl the woman who dubbs her was an opera singer maybe that's the reason

  • I think the echoing makes it seem more like she is in a forest alone...personally...

  • great song

  • HELLO YARAI

  • My favorite Disney song.

  • i love the platinum movie its amazing!<3

  • Can you make a Multi-language?

  • Yeah, I totally see your way there. I've made sure that my step-brother and step sisters are watching all the good movies. I'm buying Sleeping beauty for my birthday.

  • yea i kinda agree, the computer animated is cool too but i wish they would still make some disney movies like this also.

  • My favorite song from the movie! BTW... In October 08, Disney is re-releasing a special anniversary edition of Sleeping Beauty on DVD and Blue-Ray.

  • october 27th =D

  • lol isn't that the day before they released the tinker bell i know it's probly going to suck but i really love tinker bell so im going to buy it

  • tinkerbell is out on november 10th =]

i cant wait. i have a slight tinkerbell obsession =D

  • i herd raven symone on it lucy lui and mae whitman that's all i know for now

  • Anjelica Huston, Jane Horrocks and America Ferrera are in it aswel =]

  • Yeah. Cinderella two sucked, but I actually liked Cinderella three. :D Meet the Robinsons and Ratatouille are the only good animated movies they've really made since their golden age of princes and princesses.

  • dude ratatuoille sucked it's wasn't even that funny and the other one suck the only good one's was finding nemo and wall-e and plus people been saying they don't make these kinda movies no more cause they ran out of fairy tales ( i can't wait for the tinkerbell movie come out)

  • i cant stand the fact that disney have made sequels to the old fairy tales like cinderella it really does spoil it for me

  • @XxCrazygal2007xX there are 3 Cinderella movies and 3 Little Mermaid movies all which suck except the origionals

  • Ah! Such a beautiful song, I love it so much.

  • this is one of my favorite part of the this movie

  • me 2. it is my favorite song of all time.

  • This is probably the only Disney film in which English is my very favourite singing voice.

  • I absolutely love her voice

  • Yay! I love this song and this movie. Too bad Disney doesn't make movies like this anymore.

  • I agree. I mean, these are the best.

Know that have Meet the Robinsons and all of that.

    =/

I love when she goes "Oh dear.."
