you both gpu nerd's stfu. you guys know nothing about gpu's. for max = nvidia gtx 295 get's the best score from 3dbencmarks if its on sli and oc'ed. for steel = nowadays radeon has the best gpu made but it doesnt get as high score as 4 way sli gtx 295. for both = they are both equal to each other. ati is leading for week and then nvidia. they both make good gpu's so stop playing liek you knew everything...

The newest series from both ATI and nvidia are very close, 4870X2 beats 1 GTX280.. so you add another 280. then you add another 4870X2.... ATI card atm is the best single card solution for pure performance. The new GTX285/295s might challenge though.

Wow chill out. ATI is doing better than Nvidia right now and with the release of the 4870X2 soon it's not even going to be close. I think aaronmonto means microstuttering which is prevalent in all CF and SLI setups.

That said, I have a 9800GX2 and now that the GX2 is under $300 I'd take one over the 4870 any day on an nvidia board.

Don't get quadcore - the only Quad core that beats the e8400 is the QX9650, wich is fucking stupidly over priced, if you want good gaming - get a e8400, if you want over rated quad cores that will perform better with multi tasking, get a q6600, other then that. Quads are silly. When the priced come down - then consider it.

hey buddy, got all my bits for my new rig. put it all together and no display! motherboard appeared to be dead on arrival. tested 2 cpu's - e8400 and celeron - two graphics cards - ati x300 and of course my 8800gtx... after that i put all my parts in an old motherboard and i get a display! sent the motherboard off to novatech. apparently it works. bullshit?

yes, things have changed my friend...power lose will have no effect on water (except it will stop moving). this is an example of a partially closed system--there exists no reservoir except a 'T' in the line and a fillport on top of the case

the case is a Lian Li, I forget the specific model. You can probably find it on Newegg. It's aluminum though, so it tends to be a bit louder than some other cases (vibration).
