If you have never met someone who said they were born an atheist and been an atheist through their life, you need to get out more. In the US and UK there are plenty of people like that.

Designed things are not necessarily made by a single person, we don't pray to them, they don't self-reproduce, they don't have new properties of physics and they typically have signs of mass-production manufacturing.

Despite what mail bag guy says, there's lots of proof of evolution producing new species from previous species. But really, the problem with that train of thought is this:

A species is defined by humans who observe a life form or the fossils of a life form and label it. There is never a creature that evolves to a point and takes a break saying, "Now that I've become a new species I'm going to hang around for a while". All species are just transitional forms that we gave labels to.
