Stecils are such a fragile base of ecspression. I mean a stencil in it self is not artistic the way a real mural or painting is. therefore I think it is really important to choose you motives carefully, so that you create your art within the story your motive is telling. You dont tell a lot of stories. You mostly just you icons for the fuck of it.

I dont mean to be cocky, but thats my opinion :)

@JezzlyJames Have you ever tried cutting a three of four colour stencil? It requires a lot of thinking if you make your own and takes more skill than you may think. Although i do agree that murals and such require much more skill and don't focus as much on the ideas they present like a stencil does. You should check out Banksy's work if you already haven't, maybe it will open your eyes a little.

the best thing to use is a plastic paper can get from any art store or any cutable plastic becasue paper and cardboard get soaked with piat which is not good

Adobe photoshop, illustrator, or other PC software. Then Overhead projector (£70) to project it into a bigger format, then cut out the outline you make on to paper.
