I'm Nicaraguan and we do gallopinto too..I don't know which one is better bacause I was brought much of my childhood in CR before coming to the States.,, never had the chance to learn the recipe but now I'm heading to the supermarket as soon as I leave work.., thanks..I hope I can find the Lizano salsa... Maybe a bodega..
Uprated. I always want to see local dishes and their preps! I'm gluten intolerant and never got used to the Continental breakfast in much of Europe, and the coffee is undrinkable in France. I eat little for breakfast but like it to be something which will carry me for a few hours. Fascinating! Will share with many around the world.
You know what would go nicely with that sunny side up eggs or steak and ripe fried plantains !
