@Sp33dyD3m0n i dont own an sti, but i really like them alot. im the proud owner of a 2001 mustang gt that walks over stock sti's. but your only coming from the sti's side. if you buy an sti for traction, then buy it. yes it can do a burnout too but nearly as big as a mustang for example. but the sti can drift better you say? well, it takes alot of work to get a mustang to drift good but it can be done. both muscle and imports have their pros and cons. look at it from both views before you hate.

The DCCD doesn't make the STi "rwd". The reason why you're able to do a burn-out that only spins the rear wheels is because 65% of the torque goes to the rear wheels at all times. Setting the center diff the right way sends the power to the rear wheels when the fronts are being held still by the front brakes. Ever held one of the rear wheels on a radio controlled car while hitting the throttle?  The diff makes the other wheel spin, just as your center diff makes the other (rears)spin.
