IF YOU WANT TO VIEW PARADISE SIMPLY LOOK AROUND AND VIEW IT ANYTHING YOU WANT TO, DO IT WANT TO MAKE THE WORLD THERE'S NOTHING TO IT THERE IS NO LIFE I KNOW TO COMPARE WITH PURE IMAGINATION LIVING THERE YOU'LL BE FREE IF YOU TRULY WISH TO BE 2:31-3:28
I always get so emotinal when I watch the ending, especially when Willy says the "Happily ever after" lines and then hugs Charlie. You can literally feel the happiness radiating from both of them! :)
This tune played through my head because,I was leaving my Platoon that I commanded for good in the NJROTC unit and they were the best ever.:') They did the best that they could ever do.
THE DREAMS OF MR MULDOON is now out on AMAZON KINDLE @2.99.The publishers said this book would make a great film….. you will love THE DREAMS OF MR MULDOON.Best wishes
"don't forget about what happened to the man who suddenly got everything he ever wanted. He lived happily ever after." this part always makes me smile and sometimes cry
This makes us cry because it shows that a good-hearted kid will always be recognized for his/her goodness eventually. It's nothing new...you treat other people with dignity and respect, you're gonna be a winner in this world cause that's why we were created.
anybody else notice that around the two minute mark it sounds like the song of storms in the zelda series? I'm aware this movie came first, but still.
I disagree, the follow the basic story arc in the original and merely twist it a bit, whereas they take the new one in a completely different direction towards the end. The characters are also drastically different, and he adds tons of themes not found in the book. Tim Burton really just made his film in Tim Burton World.
Every time i hear this song while I'm away from my home, it reminds me of being home because we used to watch this movie as a family and also because when I'm home and with my family I'm in a place where things are usually happy and where there's a lot of love like there is in this movie. So I guess I'm saying that my home and my family are my paradise and there's nowhere else I'd wish to be. Best of all I don't have to imagine it exists because my home and family are always with me in my heart
Everytime I hear this song it brings tears to my eyes. It's the perfect song to accompany the scene. Charlie achieved a dream that most kids can only imagine. Gene Wilder is the best!
I Appreciate You All For Listening! God Bless!

1971 wasn't exactly the brightest year in the history of the world, and this movie brought (and will always bring) joy through the darkness...

This version is SOOO much better that that other shit, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

I honestly don't think Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was supposed to be an extremely accurate copy of Willy Wonka.

Yeah it does actually, it could have been koji's inspiration for it possibly.
