hey man nice video i am new to piano and play guitar (as do mostly everyone these days all my friends are transitioning) and i am looking for a new keyboard that would be very versatile so i can mess around alot on but still have good sound quality and be in the range of 150 bucks to 500 bucks for my birthday this febuary. Do u think this is a good starter piano? I tried it out at guitar center yesterday and it was the only one in its price range that really stood out to me. Thx and great vid

@hiian123 I bought it in Europe for about €620 which is roughly equivalent to it's original suggested retail price of $900, and I am very happy with it.

For the discounted price of $500 (in the USA), it's a steal.

So, first, my english is... perfectible (I'm french). Second, I love my keyboard, but It not the best. It cost 420€ (450$ I think), it's expansive, but it's the market. Besides, I don't understand when you said "weighted keys".

You can look for on site web of music the characteristic of this keyboard, it's a yamaha dhx 230.

But I advise you if you have many money to take a better keyboard (the best keyboard cost approximately 700$) than this one. I hope you have succeed in understanding =D

i perfectly understood what you were saying. your english is pretty good. much better than my french. what i meant by "weighted keys" is are the keys heavy like a piano (la touche de lourd poids)? merci beaucoup!

Ahh, I understand. So, no, this keyboard haven't the weighted keys. But it have the dynamics keys. For weighted keys, It's minimum 700$.=/

Sympa la démo... et ça donne quoi au niveau du touché ?... j'ai essayé le DGX 630, j'adore avec les touches lourdes, mais celui la ne l'a pas je crois ? Les touches ne claquent pas trop comme avec un synthé classique ?

C'est la le seul défaut à mes yeux du dgx 230: il ne possède pas de touches lourdes. Après, les touches de claquent pas trop, grâce en partie à l'effet gradué. Mais si tu as l'argent nécessaire et que tu recherches le réalisme du vrai piano, achète le 630 sans hésiter =)

J'ai utilisé le tutoriel de obesecat55 sur youtube. Mais si tu veux des partitions tu peux en trouver sur le site "palais de zelda", dans la section partitions. Désolé, je peux pas te donner le lien direct dans l'immédiat =]
