Not rely as you think. E30 M3 with S38 3.8 is weighted 1500kilos. SL73 is around 1950 kilos not rely half of the car... The SL is 7300 CC and V12. AMG Version is 520hp. Brabus Version usually is allways higher than amg so my guess is ~550HP and its still doesnt not give good results as everybody thinks. Brabus 7.3 V12 550hp wow sounds scary but in fact its not what everybody expects. Its a great car and I must say its my favorite chassis R129.

when i bought this car it came with a problem one side of the engine bay was not working properly if you watch the the video again yo wouls notice the traction controle light does not come on because of not enough power delivered by engine with this motor normaly traction light stays on till third gear thats how much power this engine has

sounds like an electrical can-bus related fault,i do merc warranty nowadays and see this kind of thing often,mostly with the newer diesels

Actually is 40km/h to 200km/h will be around 17sec. 40km/h-240km/h in 24sec. I am sorry but that is slow and V-Max is only 300km/h.

Very nice and rare car! But its slow from 0-200 in around 17 sec.keeping in mind that the video start at 30km/h rolling start not from stop. For this kind of engine 7.3-V12-48 vales WOW this car should fly. I was expecting to see 0-200km/h around 12sec. My E30 M3 with S38-B38 is making 14 sec 0-200km/h and the engine is only 3.8 with 380hp and 6cyl less. half of the MB Engine. This car is made I guess for only top end speed.

No. The M120 Engine was made be Mercedes, so Pagani has the same engine as ths 7.3

one side of the throttlebody was not opening properly and it was causing a big slow off the line and also a high end power lose since it is fixed the traction control light stays on even in third gear if you notice in this clip there is no traction control light comes on

i beleive the car was year 2000 sl600 converted to Brabus 7.3 with exahast brakes engine and suspension for $88,000.00US total price was $125,000.00US I talk to Peter (who is the best tech for Brabus in USA) told me they have only 5 cars 7.3 R129 in usa

Brabus cars are little bit better than ///AMG and they are rare they are not every where like ///AMG

Brabus is in a different league then AMG. AMG is more like mercedes "middleclass", if you can call it that. Brabus is an company that tunes stock mercedes models, and make em super cars. And well, a brabus car usually have about 400-500 more horsepowers then a standard model, and a 6.5liter V12+

It's a BRABUS.. everything is build to Brabus motor specs.. all they do is take MB engine blocks and build it from there with their own stuff.

should be 30Km to 240Km, I just watched the 500e go from 0-240 Km/hr in 30 seconds, it took the 500e about 2.5 seconds to get to 60 Km/hr. This Brabus vid, the engine is already turning around 4K when it starts so adding 2.5 seconds to the 23 seconds gets us 0-150 MPH in under 26 seconds,,,

Das hier ist ei 18 Jahre alter 6.0L Sauger V12 komplett umgerüstet auf 7.3L, der bring jetzt im Zonda GT-R mit den normalen 6.0L 750Ps raus , da kann Audi und BMW noch was lernen,von den "Opa" Autos. Ich wüsste nicht das sie seit 18 Jahren immer noch den selben Motor irgendwo als Basis haben
