Riding brakeless doesn't give you more control, it helps you develop bike control. After riding with brakes for about 10 years, and finally taking them off about a year and a half ago, I can tell you for a fact that I improved my bike control a lot after taking brakes off. Riding brakes is cool, and brakeless riding doesn't give you more control, but the fact is, you have to learn how to control your bike better versus just grabbing your brakes to stop.
