  • @lynneby1 Well, how was it?

  • Love Neil Diamond.I bet Ronnie Tutt is thinking back to June 1972.

  • Yes, Neil D. recounts his NY childhood in "Brooklyn Roads" Saw him in ILL-Great Live Performer as well as recording artist. The uplifting spirit of this lively tune is unstoppable. So, too is "freedom's light" which is now "burning warm" in more & more former dictatorships. Let us all work together for the day when FREEDOM & PROSPERITY cover the entire Earth, not just a couple parts of it, so EVERYONE, EVERYWHERE can share it. Peace & Love ALL.

  • I think this classic song should be our new national anthem. Much more exciting than "oh say can you see".

  • Love this music! Brilliant!

  • We should make this the national anthem!

  • I love this man

  • hi/ is the best good song god bless neil diamont i from el salvador.....!

  • Beautiful uplaod of one of the best singer song writers, thank you dear

  • Neil Diamond is without a doubt a True Icon. there is not a modern day artist that comes anywhere close to either Mr.Diamondl or Barbara Streisand.... i truly adore and respect them as artists. any up and coming artist should be looking up to the success and talents of such greats. Neil Diamond rocks. he played Dublin's Aviva stadium and I had the pleasure of seeing him preforms songs from very emotional memories in my childhood. he is a true legend. I will never forget this special night.

  • hard to believe my folks went to see Neil Diamond when he played Ireland...back in the '80's and look at him today, he's in great condition and his voice is as strong as ever. He's doing something right!

  • Yeah they got their freedom and in exchange they lived in the NYC tenements, poor, desparate, diseased and never realizing their hopes, dreams or ambitions in the new world. The successful ones were rare. Thank God my family was in the latter category.

  • I cant wait to see you Neil in Brisbane Australia on 21st March 2011.......Love you !!!!!

  • What a great voice you have Mr Diamond. Too bad we don't have your kind of singers today; everytme i hear America, give me goosbumps because you sing with all your heart, soul and talent. God bless you.

  • If Neil DIamond's "America" doesn't give you goosebumps everytime you hear it, just leave.

  • It makes me happy to know that Neil cannot be killed mortal weapons.

  • Every time I hear this song I think of my parents who "came to America." It chokes me up. He nails it--everytime.

  • Amerikai bevándorlók himnusza. Nagyon faja.

  • is it me or is Mr Diamond like wine? The older the better?

  • Great song! Great voice! Great singer! Great Country!

  • my little sister wasn't impress, she rather watch titanic :(

  • @dablazzer101 Maybe your sister should teach you how to write with proper grammar instead, Sparky.

  • Living the American Dream!

  • Once I heard this it has always been kind of my theme song being an immigrant. What a great song and what a great performance! Rock on Neil!!

  • @paulvalach - My family is too! My grandparents came to America from Austria in 1938, right before World War 2. All they had were each other and the dreams of freedom. I owe my life to my grandfather's decision, for the year after they arrived, the war broke out and my grandmother's entire family, who were Jewish, were sent to the concentration camps and did not survive. I never forget my immigrant roots and wave them proudly as I do the flag of the United States.

  • never miss this man when he comes to australia, is it just me , or is he getting better with age . wow what a show

  • From America & An American Partiot: The dream has been good to live & share. I cherish it. But, Liberty is in the death grip of deceivers. I have good and bad news. Our nation has largely not learned from the past.. Our dictionary, schools, industries, government and military have been manipulated - hoodwinked. Our society has been dumbed down. All the proof is on this blog. Start on page 1 & go though the rest.

  • Totally Brilliant............From UK 39 and Love his music

  • AMAZING. Neil is the man.

  • His lasting power is no fluke. Talent will always find its way through generation after generation. I think it's easy to concede Neil is one of the greatest male singers ever. It takes a unique voice and great song writing to get there.

  • I could watch this all day. Neil's great and everyone in that band is fantastic. I like these kind of shows because the bandmembers look to be on cloud 9 performing with a legend in front of a crowd of appreciative fans.
