I have always liked how Charlie Rose conducts his interviews. He never puts anyone on the spot or makes them feel uncomfortable. He just ask poignant questions. A real class act.

I absolutely agree with MIa: the show's recurring theme is intimacy, people's desire to connect with each other and the inability to do so. Such universal themes struck home for a lot of people and that partly explains the success of the show (the l word).

Does anyone else have a hard time listening to Mia Kirshner because of how much she reminds you of Jenny?

The last seasons so destroyed my opinion of that character that I find it difficult to be OK with *anything* Jenny-related.

Otherwise, great interview! Shame part 1 is gone..

totally agree! she is incredibly beautiful and talented! she's definitely had the most oppotunity to allow her character to develop! Her, Jennifer beals, Laurel holloman, leisha hailey and erin daniels for me are the best actress, far better than alot of those a-list hollywood actresses!

It was a refreshing change to see an interview about the L Word in which the host could actually hold an intelligent debate without the usual 'nudge nudge', awkwardness, patronising attitude and covert homophobia lurking in the shadows, Charlie coped pretty well I thought although he clearly went weak at the knees with Jennifer's subtle flirtatiousness...and who wouldn't?

...especially after her faux pas regarding her perception of how African Americans supposedly 'tolerate' gay men more than lesbians...what a daft remark - she obviously hasn't got a clue poor old duck - boy was she squirming under Ilene's gaze, she got completely out of her comfort zone and really struggled here.

Ilene is very attractive. I've seen her before, but didn't remember her as the person I saw in this video.

Anywho...I'm really going to miss the show too. I don't think it's possible to put together such an awesome set of ladies in the future.

Oh and was it just me or did everyone else notice how Pam and Mia had to fight for talk time. All questions were directed towards Ilene and Jennifer and where in the heck was Leisha or Kate...you have to have at least one of the two lol.

Jenny Shecter is the most divergent character in the entire series.

Bette's my favorite, but Jenny and Tina...ESPECIALLY Jenny are the only characters who've drastically changed throughout each season. I would say Bette, but I dont like the "submission" type

I disagree MTK12. Mia and her character Jenny are both Very Sensual. I'll say more: One Cannot Be As Sensual as Mia is and not be deeply complex, raw, & aware of Her own pain and bliss. Knowing deep parts of one' soul releases previously unknown legends and mysticism that beans on through one's sensuality. It's reading a map of one's energy unlike perceptual outside design. Both Jenny & Mia are sensual and translucent, magnetic and magical beings. Perhaps it will surprise You just how much so.
