  • great stuff somaliland ppl worth for what they achieved its now the time the international communities declare the recognition of somalliland. god bless somalaland nd its ppl long lasting love

  • Somaliland sovereign peace full Muslim Country!!

While rest of Somalia in crisis, Somaliland government, manage to bring order and peace to its people. Somaliland chooses freedom over oppression, peace over conflicts; prosperity over poverty and self-sufficiency over dependency.

No one knows better what is best for Somaliland than its people.

Let Somaliland be free and independent country.

  • im not from somaliland but i give them props wallahi they are rebuilding they country and nothing going to stop them insaallah

  • Will Ministers encourage the diaspora to become involved particularly in work with schools in Somaliland, and will my hon. Friend join me in considering the possibility of internet links to help build pupil-to-pupil and teacher-to-teacher contacts between us and Somaliland?

  • I believe that this country has a good chance to have the worldwide recognetion it seek. whit good environment for that now we just need an administration that can take that responsibilities and make our dream a reality

thanks and may Alla blase us and blase Somaliland

  • Recognition of Somaliland is a stone's throw away, it is now ever closer, so I would rather advise its opponents to board the boat before it is too late, exciting times are ahead for the people of Somaliland. We have shown the world that we can manage our own affairs in region that is in turmoil and without any external support, this is largely because of the cohesive nature of the people of Somaliland and its traditional way of solving their conflicts and crisis. Best Wishes to Somalilanders.

  • Our brothers of Somaliland did well & deserve international recognition, and I am sure they will achieve that aim sooner or later, it is only a matter of time.

  • in other words. "We welcome Somaliland,We just don't recognize them as an independent state".

  • it's a pitty. Western world allways use the same tactic. They support democracy, freedom and human rights everyvere, but they don't do anythink to help these countries.

  • Beware of he who comes dressed as sheep,

gordon brown child killer, butcher of iraq.

liberate iraq and palestine mabye afterwards diplomacy long live somaliland

With in Somalilanders the case of succesion is debatable now. no more been danbe oo laysu sheegaa Somalia dib bay u midoobaysaa insha'allah 2009, we have to be prepare for that before its too late.

  • hey guys i love this song at the background huuuno qof mu i sheegi kara magaceega.. iso dir please

  • This is basically a state of fact that the international community can no longer afford to ignore Somaliland, it is time to face the reality and accept Somaliland as an equal and forget about such ill conceived notion that Somaliland is part of Somalia, let's wake up please.

  • We have convinced and shown practically to the UN, AU, EU, IGAD, and other International Community that we are a nation and that we have taken our fate in our own hands and we have framed and established a state on which we can live and build an everlasting future for our beloved people.

  • INQLY2007:YOU'RE RIGTH MAN...FROM HARGEYSA....

  • By Prof. Ahmed Al-Azhari

Somaliland passed the most important and difficult phase on the way to reaching its founding principles of peace, stability, democracy and nation building to get full recognition.

  • Reflecting the nature of our engagement, the U.S. Ambassador to Ethiopia Donald Yamamoto met with Somaliland President Dahir Rayale Kahin and his delegation when they were passing through Addis Ababa in early January 2008...

  • Ambassador to Kenya Michael Ranneberger held consultations with Somaliland Foreign Minister Abdillahi Mohamed Dualeh and his team in Nairobi in Fall 2007; and Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs Jendayi E. Frazer also met with Somaliland Foreign Minister Dualeh during the African Union summit held in January 2007.

  • Gordon Brown sets a good example for US/Somaliland relations

  • EDITORIAL

Early this week, a member of the British parliament, Alun Michael, asked Prime Minister Gordon Brown a question about Somaliland. The way the Prime Minister tackled the question indicated that the prime minister was well briefed and knowledgeable about Somaliland (for a transcript of the exchange between Alun Michael and the prime minister...

  • If we break the prime minister's reply into its components, the following points stand out:

    - The prime minister referred to Somaliland as a country.

    - The prime minister agreed with Alun Michael's suggestion that Somaliland deserves respect from the international community...

  • - The prime minister agreed with Alun Michael's suggestion that Somaliland deserves respect from the international community.

    - The prime minister was aware of the presence of President Rayale in the British parliament.

    - The prime minister welcomed the president of Somaliland and his delegation to the United Kingdom.

    - The prime minister included Somaliland in the list of countries with which the United Kingdom is associated.

  • No doubt, the prime minister's statement is a strong endorsement of Somaliland's achievements as a peaceful oasis in a dangerous part of the world. But given the several incidents of human rights violations that took place in Somaliland last year, it would not be far fetched to say the Prime Minister's reply also contained an implicit message to the Somaliland government to desist from such actions if it wants to be welcomed into the international community.

  • Since President Rayale is now in the United States for the next leg of his journey, and the United States has a bigger stake in Somaliland than Britain, Somalilanders expect, and with justification, that the US's welcoming of Somaliland's presidential delegation and its overall commitment to assisting Somaliland will surpass that of Gordon Brown. Will the US follow Gordon Brown's example or will it drop the ball? Let's see what happens

  • Somaliland cause has finally reached and echoed the highest British ruling dynasty institution which is this Parliament. We will soon witness the recognition of Somaliland by landslide vote from British lawmakers, and then from the United States as well as Arab and African Nations. • This is a great news for Somaliland, masha-Allah.

  • Somaliland is a country in east africa and the international community is discovering this country slowly because it is africa's best kept secret.

This is a good news for somalilanders who worked so hard to get the recognition that they deserve.
