I have been to a lot of places in the states, and Johnstown was one of them. I must say, Johnstown was one of the most economically depressed areas in the world. The incline plain was about the most boring thing I have ever seen. The city is totally disgusting and dirty. I would not go there again. This place was probably a nice place to live maybe 50 years ago, but since the workers got so lazy in the steel mills, the mills were caused to close down. They moved the mills to Asia, good thing !!
David, I was raised in Johnstown, and it was an environment like none other. Something about the attitude of working hard to live around friendly people was a part of the steel industry, and although there were social divisions that is one value that was believed there.
Its entirely too cold for me or my family any longer, but its nice to hear from a happy resident.
I agree with you totally. I'm working hard here in NC to make sure that Barack Obama is our next President. PA, of course, comes first, and hopefully by the time NC comes May 6th it will just be the frosting on the already baked cake of Barack's nomination.
His last remark is so spot on. Obama is not trying to outguess what the public thinks in order to fall in line with the latest fashionable opinion. Obama is a leader - including a leader of opinion - not a follower. But his opinions strike a chord with the public, because they call for a recognition for simple human dignity and chance of all to have a shot at a good life. He is such good news for America.
Do you really feel that way? Doesnt it seem encouraging to see americans watching intently, looking for ways to contribute, and discussing values with one another?
I am an American student studying in Istanbul right now. It's amazing how far reaching an powerful America is. Turkish people pay very close attention to our presidential election because its result has a huge effect on Turkey. Remember, Iraq is next door. They ask me who I want to be the next president. I tell them Obama.
I certainly hope so, I'm sick of Clinton to be honest. Obama talks about positive issues when he talks, all Clinton can do is bash Obama... she has nothing else to say, just give up already.
Queen - I too have that feeling that PA is going to be different than Ohio although the polls say otherwise (so far!!!), but I think that Clinton will drop out only on May 6, after huge defeat in NC and a loss in IN. By the way, since I consider myself to be an Israeli Obama "Prophet", it would be appropriate that she would be gone on my birthday (May 6).
Not going to happen. She'll stay in until there are no more voter registration days left for primaries. That's probably a good thing for the general election.
What we -will- see by the end of April is the end of her superdelegate lead, especially if she ends PA without at least a 7% lead.
Whether she fusses or not, FL+MI will get seated in a way that benefits HRC but not enough to affect the outcome.
Once Obama has 400 superdelegates, and FL+MI are seated, she might drop out earlier.
her plans are to stay as till the end so she can keep throwing dirt and lies abt Barack. But now she has a problem
1)staying on is costing her money of which she isnt raising much and dragging her in to debts as a result
2)Following the lastest updates with regards to the NAFTA-Canadian story,Mark Penn and the CAFTA,Bosnia,Norther Ireland,it now means he credibility has hit rock bottom.Nothing she says is given any attention anymore,as a result she can no longer damage Obama by her lies
Good message. I liked the part where he talks about "the normal BS you get from a lot of politicians..." because it's true. Obama would be the most honest president we've had in a LONG time.
I feel the same way as David. I've watched the campaigns of both candidates and where Hillary is all "politician as usual", Barack is a refreshing breath of much needed air!
My interest in his policies and practices have sparked a desired interest in our Government and our people that I never thought could exist!
That's what I think a President should be capable of! Giving voice to the people and listening!
Pennsylvania, stand up for the people and put an end to the foolishness, April 22!
W00t! Go Obama! I support you so much, and I will be very unhappy with anyone else in office! I share the same views and you will be a great leader! GO OBAMA!
i hope she will drope, it would be good for the democrats, but i doubt that she will drop out the race, i think she belives that the superdelegates will pick her as the nominee
It's time for a change,I am tired of seeing that same person in the white house, an old rich fart who is only interested in helping his friends become richer. I trust Obama, I really do.

Well centered man, its the travel, americans who don't travel are somewhat blind, and only travellers know that, I'm sure you'll agree.
