hi yes it seemed to climb to quickly , and proberly going to fast , i think just enough speed to fill the kite and lift , maby hop into travel adjust and dial ele and elo back a bit . but well done
Always handy to do some test glides on a gentle slope in a headwind so you can work out all your balance and control issues before adding offset thrust to the mix.
Except for helis, I test glide all my powerplanes on a big grassy hill with some headwind before attempting powered takeoffs.
Yeah, I reckon it's a combination of a few things, I think the angle of attack is too high as well as me not bringing the nose back down when it lifted. I am not going to adjust the hang point, rather move the pilot assembly back or forward to achieve different angles of attack. I am keen to rebuild it better for next time, I have got some better ideas, it's just a matter of getting time to work on it. Not too far away I hope. Thanks to everybody for the positive feedback.
