If you really want to debate the pros and cons of his philosphic views, first please do some research. Do some reading on Austrian economics, review the bill of rights and the constitution, Hell, read a couple of Ron Paul's books like "End the Fed" and "A foreign Policy of freedom".
Once you fully undertstand his ideas for what they truly are, then come back and have a real debate instead of throwing around names and rhetoric.

There is no public option in the bill.
it mandates that you buy insurance from private companies. If it actually had a public option, it wouldn't be that bad, but it doesn't, and that's why insurance companies can price gouge you.

We shouldn't just sit back and rely on Ron Paul for change. That's the message Ron Paul is trying to show. Do more than just vote. Ron Paul's message is this is OUR country, and we can't rely on politicians for change. Don't just hope for Ron Paul, because he isn't 100% surely going to win. Do more than vote, and actually do what Ron Paul says, not just listen to him say it.

I understand the criticisms of this Healthcare Bill but this is how I look at it
The government spends TRILLIONS of dollars on bullshit like: bailing out corrupt Wealthy CEO's/companies, secret wars, espionage, political prisoners, "fighting" terrorist, political agendas etc etc..
I say.. LET THEM SPEND SOME MONEY FOR THE WELL BEING OF IT'S OWN PEOPLE.

@robertwc82 it's because he says cutting taxes and less government without talking about debt free currency (backed by nothing printed by the Treasury with an end to fractional reserve banking which Ron Paul has and will never bring up) and doesn't address anti-trust legislation to break up companies who impede competition. If there is constant competition and a debt free currency where congress sets the value, then jobs will not be a problem.
