  • What a great recipe - I love that miso gray! I used to love Mcdonald's french fries dipped in a vanilla shake, but I haven't had that in years :)

  • @AsianCookingmadeEasy miso gravy is quicker to make than instant gravy. I liked to dip my fries in my sundae too, lol.

  • I dip my fries in ranch dressing! Or bbq sauce mixed with mayo!  YUM YUM. However! I think i'm going to give this recipe a try. Looks super good.

  • It depends, it usually varies between ketchup and bbq sauce.

  • @biarnylr If you want to make it, you should find cheese curds like Bothwell brand. There's a certain gravy that the original had as well, but I like any homemade gravy. It's also awesome with meat on top, like pulled pork or shredded brisket. There's a bbq place in Saskatoon that makes their poutine with smoked mozzarella. It's unreal.

  • I like dipping my fries in vanilla milkshakes or soft served vanilla ice cream. Strange but I love it. hehe

  • heinz ketchup, or tapatio sauce, but as a kid: salted fries dipped in a creamy milkshake (any flavor!) the hot, salty, sweet, and cool was heaven to me as a kid!still love it on occaision!

  • I make sweet potato fries in the oven, they aren't as crispy buyt they aren't as fatty too so it can help someone who doesn't want that much fat. I will try your reciep soon :)

  • @BusanKevin When I was in Ottawa, I remember going on a poutine quest. lol. I ended up at this dive diner near Byward and having an awesome plate of poutine topped with a pile of smoked meat.
