I was a big fan of Nu Metal when I was 12. Now, I think the majority of it is shit. For a long time I just forgot about Limp Bizkit, and ignored them. But, I`ve always had a soft spot for this album, and their debut. I think they`re a shit band overall, but,come on, this and "Three Dollar Bill" were great albums. This was the last album where Fred Durst actually had angst. The third album and onward, were just fake, and pretentious. Oh well.

This music really touches me man, you can tell Fred really feels what he's singing. Say what you want about Limp Bizkit's lyrics, and although a lot of them are typical angry teen nonsense (which fits their agressive songs perfectly anyway), they do have their fair share of deep lyrics. Ahh man, the old times... Forever cherished in my memory. :)
