good choices, sum of my fav's wud be (not in any order) the stone roses first album, morning glory and definatley maybe by oasis, everything must go by the manics, mind games by john lennon, sgt. peppers the beatles and parklife by blur
1. Physical Grafitti - Led Zeppelin 2. Electric Ladyland - Jimi Hendrix 3. Meddle - Pink Floyd 4. Achtung Baby - U2 5. Abbey Road - Beatles 6. Stickey Fingers - Rolling Stones 7. Sabotage - Black Sabbath 8. Who Are You - The who 9. Disraeli Gears - Cream 10. Bridge Of Sighs - Robin Trower 11. Phenomenon - UFO 12. Queens Of The Stone Age - Songs For The Deaf Just a few to mention
@pegger6996 , you obviously don't know your Pink Floyd! Meddle is better than both DSOTM & The Wall! Animals, Wish You Were Here & Atom Heart Mother are as well.
@amstell13 It's up to personal taste. I actually own ever Pink Floyd album besides Atom Heart Mother and there isn't much of an argument for that being #1. Meddle is indeed very good, Echoes by itself could be on this list, but it has week spots unlike DSotM. As of now my favorite album is Live at Pompeii. It has all of their great extended early stuff, an amazing live performance of Echoes, and a very interesting look into DSotM in its early stages.
Well I know you have good taste because of the Pink Floyd/Roger Waters thing you got going here. As for me, my favorite Pink Floyd album is what ever one I happen to be playing. I think Roger Waters, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Neil Young, and Lennon/McCartney are in a class all to themselves when it comes to writing songs that move you. Good stuff.
The Beatles would prolly have about 6 albums in my top 10 :) , you simply cant beat emm
